Welcome to our ski in/ski out vacation home away from home at Stone's Throw in Sun Peaks our favourite ski resort. After arising from your king size bed, enjoy the spectacular views of Tod Mountain as you eat your pre ski breakfast. Then ski or board to the Morrisey Chair to start your day. At the end of the day ski back to your door via the East Village Way off the Sundance Chair and relax in your private hot tub all the while taking in the beautiful vistas that surround you. Afterwards you can either take a short walk to the Village or enjoy a quiet dinner at home followed by your favourite movie viewed on the 42" LCD flat panel Smart TV over the cozy fireplace. Our lodge like home at Stone's Throw is located near the future East Village on the 16th hole of the golf course. You will note the spaciousness created by the open plan and the nine foot ceilings. When you walk into the entranceway you will find hooks for your outer clothing, special racks for your skis/boards, and a bench for boot removal. The tiling here is heated. As you proceed down the hallway you will find the second bedroom with its Queen/Twin wood bunk bed, dresser, TV, and DVD player on your right. Then, on your left you will note the main full bathroom. Your next right will lead you to the granite countered kitchen. Its noted features include dark brown cabinetry, heated tile flooring, and pendant lights over the bar. These enhance the rustic theme of our condo. From the kitchen you will overlook the Great Room. First the dining room with its dark brown wood table which can seat up to 9. Next you’ll see the living room with its sectional sofa bed and 42" LCD flat panel Smart TV over the beautiful brick fireplace. Finally, upon raising your eyes you will envision the glorious views of Tod Mountain. Across from the entrance to the kitchen you will enter the master bedroom. The full master ensuite is noted for its soaker tub with shower, heated tile floors and full sized stacking washer and dryer. From the hot tub on the covered patio (accessed by sliding doors from both the master bedroom and from the great room) visualize the Morrisey Connector, the 16th hole of the golf course and the spectacular Tod Mountain.

This fully equipped, granite counter top kitchen includes some spices. The only supplies that you require will be your food and beverages.
Spacious living room as part of the great room. It has both a huge opening window which takes advantage of the spectacular views and a sliding door leading to the partially covered deck. Relax in comfort in the sectional or in the pizzaz of the red chair and enjoy your favourite movie on the 42" LCD flat panel Smart TV over the rustic brick fireplace.
Spacious dining room as part of the great room can comfortably hold a 72" long table. It has 6 chairs but with the leafs in place it can comfortably seat 9. There are 3 stools at the granite bar. The wood trim of the dining room suite carries through the lodge like theme of our home.
Our home at Stone's Throw is a luxurious 2 bedroom true ski in/ski out condo located on the Morrisey Connector. (Lift tickets are available at the Mount Morrisey lift.) The brick fireplace hosts a 42" LCD flat panel Smart TV above the mantle. The fully equipped kitchen which overlooks the great room and encompasses the spectacular views of Tod Mountain has granite counter tops, an ultra quiet dishwasher and an ice maker in the refridgerator. The master bedroom has a king size bed ideal for the tired skier and the second bedroom with its queen/twin bunk is equipped with the second TV and DVD player to enable the kids an escape to privacy. The master ensuite contains a soaker tub with shower and a stacking full sized washer and dryer. This luxurious condo overlooks the 16th hole of the golf course.

Location & Map
Stone's Throw is located on Valley Drive immediately past the Mount Morrisey lift and just over the skiers' underpass. It is located on the 16th hole of the golf course - across the fairway from the Morrisey Connecter. Take HWY 5 (Jasper Hwy) from Kamloops. Follow it for about 14 kilometers. Turn right at Sun Peaks sign. Turn left immediately. Follow Sun Peaks road for 31 kilometers into the village. Turn right at the stop sign. This is Valley Drive. It winds its way uphill for less than 1 minute to Stone's Throw.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies
|Cancellations Made by Guests||If cancellation is done up to 14 days after booking - are subject to #$25.00 administration fee. Cancellation after 14 days up to 45 days prior to arrival, you will forfeit the first night's deposit. Any cancellation inside of 45 days of arrival, you will forfeit the full reservation total unless unit is rebooked for the original dates. In that case only the original deposit will be forfeited.|

We are Ian and Roxy and we have two adult children, Stewart and Lindsay. We reside in Vernon, BC, Canada. Roxy is an avid skier and Ian is an extremely competent golfer. Stewart and Lindsay both love skiing and Stewart enjoys a round of golf with his Dad - time permitting. Our family has loved Sun Peaks since we first discovered it 17 years ago while the resort was in its infant stage. We have loved watching the everchanging growth of this budding resort and look forward to the development of the new East Village only a Stone's Throw away.
