Thanks for stopping in to take a look at our ski-in 2 bdrm townhouse, located in Sun Mountain Villas, at the renowned Sun Peaks Resort. Our spacious townhome is located on the 6th hole of the golf course and is within walking distance (700m) of lifts and all village amenities.

Our townhouse is 1200sq ft end unit with a very open & spacious feeling. Our townhouse is a three floor unit. The ground floor contains a 2 car tandem garage with a large area for ski/board/bike storage, entry way & laundry room. The living room/kitchen/dining room and powder room are located on the 2nd level. Two bedrooms and the main bathroom are located on the 3rd level. There are two balconies in the unit. One balcony is off of the dining room area and has a view of the ski hill and overlooks the parking area. The other balcony is off of the living room and contains the hot tub. This balcony overlooks the 6th hole of the golf course.

Located on the Sun Peaks Shuttle West route. The shuttle is complimentary. The shuttle starts at 8:15 am when it leaves from the Village Day Lodge for Woodhaven and Parking Lot 5 on the east route. The bus then returns to the Village Day Lodge to drop off before leaving on the west route via Fairways Drive and Burfield Drive then returning to the Village Day Lodge via Sun Peaks Road. Each route takes about 20 minutes. The service will run from 8:15 am till noon, and then again from 1:00 pm to 4:00pm. Sports School lessons are timed with the first runs in the morning. The shuttle has marked designated stops, however the driver will stop at his discretion if he sees a group waiting. The shuttle will run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday each week throughout the winter season. Also offers extended service during the holiday periods December 22, 2006, to January 8, 2007, February 16 to 25, 2007, and March 9 to 18, 2006. Stops are marked at Woodhaven/ P5; Stonesthrow, Timberline, VDL, Fairways at Eagle Court, Fairways at Mountain View, Burfield Drive and Sun Peaks Road, Sun Mt Villas, Alpine Greens/ Sunburst Drive, and finally The Peaks. Frequently Asked Questions
|Why are there no taxes added to your rates when most others have to add 16% for GST and Hotel Tax? Is it really tax free?||It is not tax free, we have already paid the taxes. Since we use our home personally more than 4 weeks per year, we are required to pay the GST taxes on the purchase price of the property and on all our expenses. We win by being able to use our place as much as we want, and you win by not having to pay the taxes.|
|What happens if we can't get to Sun Peaks due to weather and arrive a day or two late. Do we have to pay for days we do not use?||We will not be responsible for lost days due to weather, transportation problems, illness, or other losses that are out of our control. There is travel insurance available to cover such loss.|
|Are there any other additional charges on top of the price quoted?||If there is damage beyond normal wear, missing items, excessive cleaning charges or if there is smoking in the unit, you will be charged for repair or extra cleaning expenses.|

This was our 5th trip to SunPeaks. And this is a lovely property. Our family of 5 fit perfectly; the kitchen is very well equipped - it even has a slow-cooker -- which on a ski day, can come in very handy. We had friends over for dinner one night, and there were plenty of utensils, plates etc. The location is great. It's a mere 8 minute walk along the beautiful Valley trail to the resort;a 2 minute drive. The kids tobogganed on the golf course every day after skiing; and we could watch them from the hot tub! Which by the way, is a great bonus, and we're so glad we had it.
There's a massive garage for all your gear, so you don't feel as though you're tripping over it in the morning while you're getting ready. I would recommend the owners purchase an inexpensive chlorine/bromine cartridge for their hot tub. It floats on the surface and slowly releases the chemicals - much better than having the pucks exposed directly to your skin while soaking. Having said that, the hot-tub was well maintained -- young guy came just about every day to top up the water, and treat as necessary.

My family had a very enjoyable stay. Perfect for our needs. Nice normal house ideal for a young family. Plenty of toys and videos (how retro!) For our 3 year old. Pack and play for our 3 month old. Nice layout separating living room from dining area. Full kitchen with everything we needed including coffee and peanut butter! Impeccably clean throughout. The hot tub was great. Very comfortable property! We were a family of two adults and three kids, and the tri-bunk worked well. We liked the hot tub, of course. Couldn't really test the ski-in due to lack of snow. This condo was very clean, provided with all the amenities you would need and definitely worth the price for our 3 day get-away. The hot-tub was clean and provided a nice view of the golf course but there was no room for a lid cover arm so you had to physically take the lid off and very little room on deck so a bit awkward. The unit is also right beside the main road so when sitting outside you have the view of the traffic on your right. I loved that it was not right in the village as i was more private.View Full Review

We had a lovely time at Sun Mountain Villas. The house was very spacious with everything we needed. The house is located right at the edge of Sun Peaks village - but it was a short 10 min walk to the centre. The views from the balcony and hot tub were great. The hot tub itself was huge and lovely to relax in at the end of the day. It was good to have a garage - as we hired bikes during our stay and could leave them in the garage. This townhouse rental is always our first choice when staying in Sun Peaks. We have stayed here three times now and are already planning a fourth stay for this summer. I highly recommend this unit for anyone that has small children. This home is baby proofed with gates for the stairs and they provide a playpen, high chair, and a bin of toys, lots of children's books and movies. Our kids love staying here, and don't want to leave. Our favourite part is the hot tub overlooking the golf course. If you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of some wildlife (deer, fox). If you are looking for a condo with a fully stocked kitchen, this one has it all. They even provide spices, condiments, oil, Ect. We have always left happy after staying here, and we know you will too if you choose this condo.

We had a wonderful time in your condo! Having all the extras such as towels, Dvds, and all the necessities in the kitchen. The hot tub overlooking the snow was the icing on the cake. The location was perfect, a quick 10 min walk to the village and the ability to ski in was perfect.

The Townhouse was perfect for our two families to spend a weekend at Sun Peaks. 2 bedrooms upstairs with a pull out couch on the main level was all the room we needed. Lots of toys and movies were around to keep the kids entertained. I really liked the downstairs area with all the coat hooks and area for you to take off your winter gear. The adults loved the hot tub every night and the view was very nice. It snowed every day we were there and made for a perfect weekend. If your looking for a nice place to stay and not break the bank then this is your place. We would not hesitate to rent this townhouse again.

We absolutely loved this place. It was very nice and cute. We will definitely be staying here again. It was right on the golf course (for those who love to golf) and it was only about a 10min walk into the village. We had a 1 year old with us and this place was baby proof. We loved that. The beds are super comfortable. More comfortable than my own bed I must say. Our transaction with Rachelle was painless. She was very prompt of getting back to me and forwarded me the necessary information immediately. Overall, we were 100% satisfied and we'll definitely be staying again.

Had a great time. Lots of room for a family of five. Well stocked with everything from condiments to blender and hot tub in the summer was great. Close to trail to walk to village. Only complaint would be must sleep with window closed because of road traffic noise however was really minor if your not a light sleeper like me.

We had a great stay. The weather was beautiful and the skiing was excellent spring skiing. We enjoyed everything about the townhouse. We wished we could have parked in the garage but we have a Thule on our SUV. The hot tub was great and having laundry in the town house was great because I didn't have any to do when I got home. We stayed for a month and felt very at home and comfortable. It felt more like a house swap than a vacation rental, everything was there at hand including spices in the kitchen and shampoo in the bathroom. Comfy beds, cosy home, great hot tub, good location and good communication with the owners. 10 minute walk to the village and lifts. Only drawback was that the free shuttle didn't run Mon-Thur outside of vacation times, but that aside, we would most certainly stay there again and thoroughly recommend the property. We made an excellent choice, thanks Rachelle.

As a family of seven with one infant we found this house extremely accommodating and child friendly. The house was clean, plenty of toys, hot tub was serviced daily, instructions were clear. Everyone felt comfortable and at home. The location was convenient for short walk/bus/driving to village. We look forward to staying here in the summer so we can see the golf course which was under the big blanket of snow.

We enjoyed our stay at your home in Sun Peaks so very much! Your home is beautiful and well-cared for. We had everything we could possibly want or need. It was wonderful to have such an assortment of movies and books. I can imagine that families with children would love the toys, games, books, etc. It was nice to have our car in your garage and not worry about parking outside. We travel 10 or 11 months of the year...and we must say that yours is one of the nicest places we have booked! To have a large fridge, 4-burner stove with oven, and a complimentary washer and dryer was a huge plus. My favourite was your beautiful hot tub on the deck. The young fellows who came to check it all the time were very polite and pleasant. The big barbeque on the other deck was also very much appreciated. Your bed was so very comfortable. When we stay home for any length of time, we are going to look at buying one of those topper mattresses. We enjoyed being able to walk almost everywhere...downtown and to most of the trailheads.
Lovely Condo in Sun Peaks

We booked last minute...and when I say last minute, we booked 24hrs before we arrived. It was the perfect condo to spend the august long weekend. I have stayed at this condo before in the winter time, and who knew there was a golf course out the back of the condo. My husband spent alot of time on the balcony this trip, watching all the golfers. It is quite a lovely view, especially in the hot tub looking up at the stars. We chose this condo this trip because we have 2 small children, both 2 and under. This home is fully equipped with everything you would need for small children, especially infants. It had a playpen, highchair, booster seat, box full of toys, kids movies and books, electrical safety plugs on all the outlets, kids dishes and cutlery, and gates for the stairs. All we had to bring up with us with us was our clothes and food. How nice is that when you have small children?!!! We went for walks on all the trails that run near the condo, we did log rolls down the hills in the golf course in the evening, took the kids to the aquatic center to go swimming, took part in the festival in the village (our son loved the bouncy castle, and the Bobs and Lolo concert), and each evening we relaxed in the hot tub with the kids before bed. There is plenty to do in Sun Peaks, not just in the winter, but in the summer too. Our kids were worn out and asleep by 9pm each night...which gave my husband and I time to relax in the hot tub and star gaze. You wont be dissapointed with this condo. The price is right, and every thing you need is there for your pleasure. Thanks for the lovely stay, we will be back again!

Fantastic weekend at Sunpeaks

March 2012 we went up to Sunpeaks for the weekend and stayed in this beautiful townhouse. It was very close to the village about a five minute walk. We enjoyed being able to come back after being out and sitting in the hot tub to relax. Everything was clean and all of the basic were there for you, plus some extras if you have small children. We will definitely book again if we go back to Sunpeaks.

Condo is spacious and the kitchen well equipped. The shuttle bus stop is very close and it runs frequently. There is no need to rent a car. The front door and garage are down one flight so all the wet boots, clothes and equipment do not clutter up the living space. The boot heater in the garage is perfect ! It was perfect for our family and we did not miss that it was not a full ski in - ski out option. Walked to the village often for a stroll and supplies. Barbara
