Integration with Hostaway

To connect alluraDirect and Hostaway, please follow the instructions below.

Configure HostAway

Step 1 - Create an API Key
The connection between alluraDirect and Hostaway requires an API key to be created.

Sign into Hostaway Dashboard > Settings > Hostaway API
Click on Create > Choose a Name and Partner
Type alluraDirect for the Name
Select Hostaway Public API for the partner
Click the "Create" button
Copy and Paste...
- You will only see the key once. Copy and paste the Account ID and API Key to a notepad as they will be required in alluraDirect

Step 2 - Create a New Listing

If you already have an account, click the "New Listing" button from the dashboard.
If you do not have an account, click here to create and verify your account.

Step 3 - Select the PMS and Verify the Account ID and API Key

From the first step in the onboarding process, click the option to enable a PMS connection.
Select HostAway.
Click the "connect" button below the selected PMS option.
From the first step where you created the API key, copy and paste the Account ID and API key.
Click the "verify API key" button.

Step 4 - Select Property, Import Data, Review and Request to Activate

Once the Account ID and API key have been verified, a list of properties will be available to sync.
Select the property that will be connected to the new alluraDirect listing.
Confirm and Save. This will begin the data sync process - please allow a minute for this process to complete.
Review and complete each step in the onboarding process to ensure everything that was imported is correct.
Once all the onboarding steps have been completed, the last step is to "request to activate".
The alluraDirect team will receive a note to review and activate the listing.

Step 5 - Add more listings (if available)

If you have multiple properties to sync, the process is the same for each additional listing.
Create a new listing from the alluraDirect dashboard.
Repeat the process, selecting the correct property to connect to each unique listing.
