Entrance: Three floor Townhome with ground level entrance. Outside private locker for boards, skis, and sleds.
1st Floor: Foyer, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and hot tub. Entry foyer has closet for winter clothes with boot and glove warming machine. Queen Bed is first bedroom. Then the Bathroom with doubled headed shower and heated slate floor. Followed by the Double Double bunk bed in next room, great for 4 kids or 2 adults. You can also put Aero Bed in this room. Private 6-person hot tub on back patio bordered by forest trees. Very relaxed setting and our first stop before dinner!
2nd Floor: Kitchen, Dining and Living Room. This floor has an open design that has a fully equipped Kitchen appointed with stainless steel appliances just at the top of the staircase. Adjoining is the dining room area that comfortably seats up to 8 with the two additional fold out chairs. Then the living room with leather reclining sofa’s which seats five (5-7), flat screen TV, DVD/VCR, Free Cable, Stereo, Stone encased Gas Fireplace, DVD collection, Wireless Free internet, and board games. Aero bed can be used in this area too. Private Deck faces the beautiful mountain and valley views.
3rd Floor: Master Bedroom, Full Bath and Laundry. At the top of the stairs is Full laundry facility with washer and dryer and additional closet for storage. Enter the Master Suite with King Size bed and beautiful mountain views. TV, DVD/VCR, and free cable. Full bath, with shower, tub, and heated slate floors. An additional Aero bed available for your youngest child to cozy up with Mom and Dad. This has worked great for us!
There are 3 private sleeping areas plus the living room makes 4 total. There is a King, Queen, Double Double Bunk, and 2 Queen Aero Beds. We sleep 6 adults very comfortably. Up to 8 adults with living room Aero Bed. We have slept up to 10 using both Aero Beds.
King Bedroom: We have slept 2 adults in the master with 1-2 children on the Aero Bed on the floor (we have even squeezed our youngest son in the master bed with us too, which gets you to 5 if you really want to squeeze).
Queen Bedroom: 2 adults very comfortably, no additional space in this room.
Double Double Bunkroom: has slept 4 kids, 2 each in each of the double bunks, or 2 adults (or even 4 thin adult couples in each double bunk, and we have also had 1-2 kids on the Aero Bed on the floor.
Living Room: We have typically put the Two (2) Aero Beds in the Master Bedroom and the Bunkroom to keep the second floor living room available for everyone, instead of someone sleeping there, but that is an option too.

Table seats 6 comfortably, but you can "squeeze in" 8 (extra chairs in the closet). You can talk with the cook while he/she is preparing the meal.
This location is one of the best in Whistler Blackcomb! (50 meter walk to trail head) Ski in Ski out to the Wizard Express Run at the Upper Village on Blackcomb. Or cruise to the lower village and lifts.
SLEDDING THE MOUNTAIN!
When the mountain closes, we take our sleds out on the Wizard Express Run, the lights are still on the mountain, and sled to the upper village. This is so much fun! Our kids love this. It is a late afternoon or after dinner tradition. We then take the free shuttle back up to our Mountain Star Complex Entrance where there is a regular shuttle stop. Sometimes Mom or Dad is the shuttle which is even better, no waiting at the bus stop. It is awesome! There is also a great little sledding hill in the woods behind the Mountain Star complex. This is a great area to build snowmen and have a shorter on property sledding course.
We use this property ourselves and therefore we have equipped our "home away from home" with most everything that you would have or want. Please enjoy your stay!

One of the most prestigious, highest locations on Blackcomb Mountain. Mountain Star is adjacent to the Coast Blackcomb Suites. It is in a very quiet and serene area and a great place to get away from the hubbub of the village, yet within walking distance. Free shuttle stop at the base of the driveway will get you there too! Guest Stay Policies
|Bike Storage||This is avaiable in the underground secure parking facility. Bring a lock since this area is open to all guests.|
|Check-In Time||4:00 p.m. Early check-ins may be possible. Please contact us before arrival.|
|Check-Out Time||10:00 a.m. Late check-outs may be possible; please check with us. You will be charged $50 per hour from your damage deposit if our cleaners arrive to prepare for the next guests and you are still in our home. As they only have a short window, please use common courtesy.|
|Complaints Concerning Property||Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Cleaning Costs||You will be billed for excessive cleaning. Please treat our home like it was yours.|
|Excessive Noise||Mountain Star noise ordinance in place 10pm - 7am. If there is excessive noise, you can remind other guests of the ordinance or call the police.|
|Forgotten Items by Guest||If a guests leave any item in our Townhouse, we can not be responsible. We will do our best to retrieve the item, but we can make no promises.|
|Garbage Removal||It is your responsibility to take garbage out during your stay and at check out. The dumpster is in the secured parking facility at the entrance.|
|Housekeeping||Our home will be clean upon your arrival and cleaned after departure. Stays less than 4 nights will be charged a $220 cleaning fee unless this was waived by owners. Daily Housekeeping available. Extra fees will apply. Please ask for pricing.|
|Internet Availability & Usage||Wireless internet is available with a wireless connection on your laptop. Internet abuse including, but not limited to, downloading copyrighted material is completely forbidden. Should the owner receive notification that such activity has occurred, the guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.|
|Liability||We are excluded from all liability for personal bodily injury and property loss in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property. We maintain full insurance on our dwelling and furnishings. This may not cover your personal valuables.|
|Maintenance Emergencies||Complete emergency contacts provided with instructions. 24-hour assistance is available.|
|Maximum Sleeping Capacity||Our place will sleep 8 comfortably, no more than 10.. We sleep 2 adults each in the King and Queen and 4 kids in the Double Bunk Room. There are 2 Aero beds if you want to try to sleep more guests in the Bunk, Master, or Living Room.|
|Missing Items||Please let us know if something is broken or missing!. Upon checkout housekeeping will perform an inventory. Costs to replace missing items will be charged to your damage deposit.|
|Property Damage||Guests assume all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by themselves or their guests. Costs for additional cleaning and repairs will be charged to you. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment, you agree to pay us for all damages you incur, including fines for improper garbage disposal. This property was great and the perfect size for three couples! The inside was very clean, the furniture was very nice and sturdy and the decorations were very well put together. The private hot tub was a nice extra too to sooth those sore muscles after a long day of snowboarding!
The area was great as well! Very quiet and very easy to get to the lifts. If you wanted to venture into the village the bus stop (free, which runs every 15 minutes) was just down the driveway!

We had a magical 5 nights in Whistler made better by the accommodation. The welcome package was a nice surprise on entering the property and the kids loved the popcorn and hot chocolate with movies at night.
Everything was as described and Gallit was extremely easy to communicate with. The toilet seat that happened to break whilst in use (maybe should lose some weight ;-) was fixed within hours of letting them know.

We had a wonderful vacation in Whistler. The property met our needs more than adequately. The granite counter tops and modern appliances make for a very positive meal prep experience which we so appreciated because we all sat around the big dining room table for supper every night. Every kitchen item we needed was there including a waffle iron and a nice assortment of spices.
The free shuttle service up and down the hill was very much appreciated. The property is quiet and private. It is a nice four minute walk down into the town which meant we did not have to get in and out of the car constantly.
We loved the use of the hot tub and the washer and dryer. Two weeks after vacation, our grandchildren are still talking about the "high" beds which were very comfortable and the fact that a step was needed to get into them. We would defiantly recommend this property to friends.View Full Review

We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Star, Gallit was always very responsive to our emails and the home was in impeccable condition. We would recommend and also stay again. As indicated by the owners, this is a three level townhome, and the two lower bedrooms are two floor below the master, this was not an issue for us as our children are getting older, but may be a consideration for renters with younger children.
Our family of 6 had lots of space and the double bunk room could have fit all 4 kids in a squeeze. The kitchen was new, and worked great! The property is fully stocked with DVDs, boardgames, Apple TV, we enjoyed all of these items.
Whistler has had a rough snow year, there was no snow lower than mid-mountain for us so we couldn't ski out, but we did walk to the hill and it is very close. The snow was great up top! An excellent vacation, thank you for a wonderful location!View Full Review

What a great place! It was well decorated, well stocked and very clean. We had a minor issue that the owner resolved immediately and we appreciate his responsiveness. Didn't get the try the ski-in ski-out as this year had a historic lack of snow. Can't blame that on the owner, though! It's on Blackcomb mountain which is a pretty steep and serious mountain. My kids are just learning to ski and found more nice, green runs over on Whistler. It's a pretty quick trip on the Peak-to-Peak but still, it's one more lift to take.
I would definitely like to stay here again. Secure garage parking was a bonus.View Full Review

We had an incredible stay at Whistler in this house over the Christmas break. We were 6 of us (three couples) and had more than ample space. Everything is as described in the ad, the rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We were able to cook each night and sit around the table as a group. The lounge area is also comfortable and spacious. The place is in a quiet part of Whistler so it was perfect for getting a good night's sleep without being disturbed. At the same time, it is easy to get into the village via the bus at the end of the driveway, which comes every fifteen minutes - or you can walk as well if you prefer. Ski-in, ski-out is achievable off Blackcomb, though snow coverage on the lower runs wasn't fantastic when we were there so we walked about 5 minutes or so. The owners are very responsive - we didn't have any need to be in contact while there, but I had a few questions before we went and they were always very fast in coming back with a response. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this place for anyone looking to spend some time at Whistler.View Full Review

Our family spent four nights at Mountain Star in early February.We were three adult couples meeting up for some skiing at Whistler, and the layout and location proved ideal. The unit is well located on the mountain with ski in, ski out access just a short walk away. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. The parking was super convenient and ample, and we put the well stocked kitchen and hot tub to good use! With six adults in the unit, it never felt crowded We all enjoyed sitting by the fire watching the Olympic coverage in evenings on the huge TV in the living room. All in all, a great vacation. This was out first visit to Whistler, but certainly not our last!

My family and I have just recently spent 2 weeks in Mountain Star 10. This accomodation is great value, very peaceful and accesable by car or the local free shuttle. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious and comfortable and we found the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans etc. The huge TV and entertainment options were a godsend for the teenagers. This property is ideal for families who want to be close to the snow but not close to the action and noise of central Whistler. Our hosts were just fantastic responding to any of our questions quickly and courteous.

We had a 3 day ski trip at Whistler and rented this condo as a ski in and out location. The conditions did not really allow this but the location was a short 2 min. walk to the slopes. The home was comfortable and modern and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable for all of us.Great spot and would recommend this type of stay over a hotel anytime. The owners had directions and instructions for everything. Just a short 3 min drive to all the shopping you needed for your stay. Will definitely stay here again.
A fabulous getaway for the young and old

We recently rented this townhome for 2 families of 4 and had a terrific experience. Traveling with young kids (5 and 3 year olds) is always tough regardless and this house made it so easy for them to have a great time and the adults not so stressed out. The location of the home was great - it had an easy walk to the mountain and while the snow was melting rapidly, so ski in/out was tougher, it actually made it more fun for afternoon playing. The kids were able to walk out, and hike up as high as they could go, and then find patches of snow to slide down. The shuttle stop was right outside so getting in and out of the village without the car was also quite easy. The place itself though had everything. From someone who always likes to pack things just in case, this place really had everything I needed. Pans? Yup. Extra towels? of course. Even a little tobaggan for us to use. And the daily hot tub soak after a long day on the mountain was heaven. The best part was that it felt close enough to everything yet far enough that we didn't have to deal with loud parties or crowds (we were there during the ski and snowboard festival. We'd recommend this place to anyone that would want to enjoy what whistler has to offer but know they have a quiet, comfortable place to call home each night.

We rented this townhouse for two families, with four adults and five children. It isn't huge but plenty big enough to be comfortable if you like each other, and well-laid out with lots of nice amenities. Our favorites: ski closet outside for storing gear, heated floors in kitchen and bathrooms, wireless internet access and a hot tub for resting those sore muscles. The kitchen was well-equipped for meal preparation (can opener could be replaced) and beds/bedding were comfortable for sleeping. And the owners were very attentive! We got quick responses to all inquiries before we arrived, with helpful parking passes for our over-sized vehicles. A binder in the condo was loaded with useful information we used it a lot during out stay. And when I emailed about a couple of small issues, we heard back right away with offers to fix the problem. A slow drain in the master bath became more of an issue through the week so I wish we had had that addressed right away, but that was our judgement call. The location was ideal - very close to the slopes for "ski-in, ski-out" and we did that all five days of our visit. We used the bus system to access the village a couple of times and the stop at the end of the driveway was very convenient. Whistler made for a fantastic family vacation destination and we made terrific memories. Staying at Mountain Star worked out beautifully and we would highly recommend it!
Wonderful ski-in/ski-out townhouse perfect for a large group

We stayed at the Mountain Star townhouse in Whistler in mid-January 2013. It is in a great location on Blackcomb mountain with easy ski-in and ski-out access to the slopes. We had a large group of 10, but we were very comfortable during our stay. The townhouse was very clean with all the basic amenities we could need. In addition to the basics, it also has a great entertainment system in the living room and a private hot-tub on the back patio. The underground parking garage was very convenient, and we used the nearby bus-stop to get around the village during our stay. Most importantly, the townhouse owners could not have been more accommodating. We had several special requests for our stay and the owners were flexible and easy to work with on all fronts. I would strongly recommend this townhouse for anybody looking to visit Whistler, especially if you have a larger group. This was our first visit to Whistler, but we will certainly be back in the future and I hope we are able to stay at the Mountain Star property again. I only wish we could have stayed longer during our last trip!

We found the accommodation to be clean and well organized. Our concerns were primarily with parking and some of the additional features. Positives: - good separations between floors and handled 2 families well - nicely appointed and comfortable - nice bathrooms and spacious rooms - good TV and seating area Suggested features for improvement: - provision for parking for overheight vehicles. It was a minor issue in the summer but would be more serious in the summer if a renter had an overheight vehicle as the closest parking is in the village - full size BBQ We think that this location would be better in the winter with ability to ski in/out as long as the over height parking could be sorted out. Owners were very responsive to our needs and tried to work out the parking arrangements but were restricted by the Strata arrangements.

The accommodation was very comfortable, with high quality furnishings, ideal for relaxing after a hard day on the slopes. Easy ski in and out access with no further than 100ft away to get your ski's on or off. Lovely quiet location, ideal for people who like to ski and be comfortable while away. Every self catering facility you could require while away for 1 or 2 weeks, went home with all clothes clean in suitcase. A bit out of the way for Whistler town center, but serviced in ski season by free public resort buses, early, until late at night. Property laid out well for groups of friends, with super 1st floor social area of kitchen,dining and lounge area with ample seating comfortably for 9. Would return to same location and property because of what it offers.

Did not realize accomodations were on 3 levels, enjoyed our stay and were pleased to take possession and find the accommodation clean and in order. Only problem we had was finding the switch for the garbarator which we never did (unless one of the switches tried was inoperative.

Condo was rented by 2 families with 3 kids, so there was plenty of room for all (plus hangers on!!). The condo was located in a great spot, easy access to the shuttle bus and short walk to the piste. Everything we needed we had at hand and the arrival of a slow cooker while in residence proved a boon! Whilst we had a few issues early in the stay, probably due to a change of ownership, these were dealt with quickly and efficently by the new owners. oOerall the condo surpassed expectations. Would not hesitate to stay here again!!
