Our stay at Casa Kettlewell was great from the pre-booking all the way to check out. The owners/managers were prompt in answering all questions and made the whole process a breeze. The location with free parking was ideal, close to shuttle, next to the Marketplace, and a short walk to nightlife and restaurants. Overall a great vacation, especially because mother nature brought us a bunch of snow :).  We will certainly recommend it to anyone, as long we don't have plans to come back that week.  - Trip Advisor

Long Term Renters (Monthly) Please inquire with owner regarding discounts on Long Term stays of 21 days or over. Four guests maximum for long term stays over 21 days. Cleaning fee of $150 and refundable damage deposit of up to $1,000 will be required for long term stays over 21 days.
Non-Smokers Only All of our properties are non-smoking. Please respect the living space. Should caretakers advise that smoking occurred within the townhouse an additional charge of $150 will be posted to guest account for payment.
Pets Pets are considered. Please email us. Additional $20/night and $125 refundable damage deposit. Pets will need to have flea/tick/heart worm medications and rabies inoculations. Also, pets must bring their own beds and towels, and have their nails trimmed.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests 25% of Deposit Payment is non-refundable. Remainder will be refunded if the booking can be replaced. Refund rate is based on the re-booking rate and number of nights re-booked.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Dates cannot be reserved without payment of deposit.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Guests will receive Instructions and Access Information via email upon completion of reservation and payments.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract Guest Stay Contract/Reservation Confirmation is provided by email.
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Reservation Changes Guests may lengthen the reservation if availability permits. If guests would like to shorten the reservation, they must note that the original deposit is non-refundable. If guests have already paid the balance, then it is also non-refundable, unless we are able to re-book. See cancellation policy for refund information.

Guest Stay Policies

Policy Description
Check-In Time Begins at 4:00 p.m.
Check-Out Time Once the vacation is over, guests should vacate the unit by 11:00 a.m. Garage Door Opener and the Guest Guide must be returned to the kitchen counter. Please note that a fee of $250 will be charged if the Garage Door Opener is not returned. To avoid incurring extra cleaning charges, the unit must be left in a good condition. All kitchenware should be clean and the unit should generally be orderly. The property owner will be responsible for laundering the linens and final cleaning. Guests are asked to strip all bedding and towels that have been used and place them in the hallways for laundering. Those that have not been used may be left in place in order to conserve energy.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs If there are excessive cleaning charges including damage to carpets or the building as a result of a guests stay, charges will be applied to guest account and owner will notify guest to make payment.
Excessive Noise Excessive noise is NOT tolerated neither inside the home or on the Granite Court grounds. Police, Security, and/or management will attend and there will be a fine per incident and guest may risk eviction. We reserve right to refuse or interrupt service to any client. To notify authorities of excessive noise in a neighbouring unit that is causing a disturbance to you please contact the Non-Emergency RCMP line at (604) 932-3044.
Garbage Removal Prior to vacating the townhouse guests are required to remove all trash and recyclables and deposit them in the Recycling & Garbage Room next to the Parking Garage.
Housekeeping The townhouse will be absolutely clean and ready for guest arrivals. Comprehensive unit cleaning, including linen changes, is scheduled before each reservation. Mid-stay housekeeping is also available through a special arrangement with Whistler Jet Clean Services for an additional fee. Contact Whistler Jet Clean Services directly at (604) 966 4730 to arrange. Laundry facilities are available in the townhome. Additional housekeeping fee of $100 is charged for long-term monthly rentals.
Internet Availability & Usage A private high speed wireless internet signal is available.
Liability Owner, agents and the townhouses’ reservation website are excluded from liability. Including for personal, bodily injury to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or while in transit to our home or while on resort property.

Maximum Sleeping Capacity 7.
Missing Items Guests authorize the owner to apply a charge to their guest account equal to the replacement cost of missing or damaged items.
Noise Restrictions No noise after 10pm. You will be fined by security if your party and your guests disrupt other guests.
Parking & Ticketing The townhouse has assigned parking for one vehicle within a secured underground parking facility. Guests must ensure that they are parked in the correct stall assigned to the unit. Parking elsewhere may lead to the guests’ car being towed at the guests’ expense. If someone has incorrectly occupied the units’ assigned stall, guests may use a VISITOR stall in the secured parking area. Guests must be sure to LEAVE A NOTE on the dashboard indicating which unit they are occupying and contact the owner immediately.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice.
Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $1000.00 CAD charge on their card payable when final payment is due unless otherwise arranged with us. In the event of property damage or breach of our policies, you have authorized the costs to remediate the damage or breach to be charged against the Damage Deposit. Damage or breach includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges related to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises. If damage is in excess of the Damage Deposit, the excess cost is also due from the Guest.
Rental Accommodation Zoning
Terms of Eviction Violation of our policies, damage to property (common property included) and violation of building policies are causes for eviction. In addition, excessive noise and offensive behaviour will not be tolerated and cause for eviction.

Dear potential or past guest, I was drawn to Whistler by my kindred wilderness spirit. This snowy peak ridden region is some of the most beautiful I've experienced thoughout the world. Wilderness spaces are a conduit to reflective and peaceful emotions. Our role and the challenges of our hyper paced world can be confusing and overwhelming unless we make time to recreate and reflect. I've searched all over Whistler and feel that Granite Court balances serene alpine beauty with "value" moreso than any other townhouses. Walk around the lit trail of ancient Lost Lake. Wait for the crowds to subside at Whistler peak and embrace the sounds of wilderness silence with the volcanic Black Tusk in the foreground. Extend a friendly hand to an international or local and learn about them. Revel in the views. Respect the beauty of the hill. Leave no trace and recycle everything. Convenient and value for money

Our thirteenth trek to Whistler from the UK. Have stayed in a few places usually nearer the slopes. WIth skis kept near the slope this was easier. So great location. I would not have booked this appartment if I had read these reviews but would have missed out on something. It is not luxurious, everything is somewhat tired. Benefit of the doubt - it was near end of the season. Whilst I don't think we marked or damaged anything, it was nice being able to relax knowing a scuff would not show. So I would rent again, but would ensure that the sofabed had been replaced before expecting anyone to use that. I ended up sleeping on the floor, it was more comfortable.

This is a review for our stay for 3 months from December 2012 thru to March 2013. Seeing this was for an extended stay over the peak season, this was an expensive booking for us. Unfortunately we were not happy with many aspects of the property. The online claim of "absolutely clean" was not true in our case. It took my husband and I the first two days attending to cleaning of scuffed, scratched walls, vacuuming piles of dust from behind beds, dusting skirting boards, cleaning mould from bathrooms, purchasing new linen and pillows for beds and generally giving the property a spring clean. As we were responsible for cad 1,000 damage deposit we were keen to identify any broken or unclean items very early on in our stay to cover ourselves. Hence the many photos that we have taken. There was no iron in the property until we purchased one in week 6. No stereo was available as stated online and the fully stocked kitchen had broken appliances that were not replaced until week 6 of our stay. There was a long list of property items that needed attending to by their maintenance man after we had checked in leaving us without a working shower in one bathroom for longer then one week. Other items that needing attending to just after check in were the fireplace ( cutting in and out), kitchen tap leaking (needed replacing), laundry door getting stuck (hinges needed changing from one side to the other), broken vacuum cleaner (replacement only just managed to clean the white carpet in the condo). As you can see we had a maintenance man in and out of the property on and off for the first couple of weeks which meant we hang around to be there when he was thus losing our holiday time on maintenance items that should could have/should have been identified and attended prior to our check in. Unfortunately, we had to return home 2 weeks early due to emergency surgery and subsequent rehabilitation of an injury sustained by our son. Casa Kettlewell owners initially said that if the property was re booked for our dates that we cancelled they would, - this is their email response - "we will try to relet the space out for the time you would have otherwise occupied the unit. Should this happen, we will refund you the net rental income from this time period." However, when they did in fact let the property out for part of our cancelled dates they reneged on this offer of a refund. Essentially getting paid twice for the relet nights. **Bad Karma** Needless to say how the property is managed and maintained is somewhat disappointing. They were defensive when we mentioned issues with cleanliness and poorly maintained items, however you can judge from the pictures yourself. We have travelled a bit in the last few years whilst our children are at a good age and we always do thorough research on all aspects of the properties we are interested in and the location etc. Online pictures and reviews can only tell give you so much of the story and only upon closer inspection could you have seen many of the issues mentioned above. The location of Casa Kettlewell is great, the complex itself is quiet, but you do hear the revellers heading home after hours when the night is quiet. But this is be be expected in Whistler. The winter view from the front is enchanting and from the back of the property is beautiful as well. If the property was better maintained and the current furniture, beds and linen were updated it would be a condo worth considering to book.

Excellent location for Ironman week

We stayed here for the week of Ironman Canada and it was perfectly located. Close to the activities but not in the middle of them. Close to the grocery store, coffee shops, drug store, etc. The unit is a little dinged up and the beds are not the most comfortable I've slept in. The kitchen was equipped with most of the stuff we needed. The pots and pans are worn out and need replacing. The windows are old and a pain in the butt to open/close. Parking was secure and great.

Overall the townhouse was very comfortable and we were happy with it.. There were however a few things that we thought should be fixed or better maintained: two burned out light bulbs - one in each bathroom no remote for TV no remote for DVD player much mold and mildew inside the main bathroom shower handle main bathroom fan does not work left back burner on range top is 50% burned out fridge door has no handle, and door does not close on its own instruction book in townhouse needs to be updated with the cureent codes for garage and trash doors the pull-out sofa mattress is worn out the foam pad for the cot is very marginal We enjoyed our stay and would likely rent again at Casa Kettlewell. Thanks for renting to us!

Great stay in the World's Best Ski-Town

Our stay at Casa Kettlewell was great from the pre-booking all the way to check out. The owners/managers were prompt in answering all questions and made the whole process a breeze. The location with free parking was ideal, close to shuttle, next to the Marketplace, and a short walk to nightlife and restaurants. Overall a great vacation, especially because other nature brought us a bunch of snow :). The only thing missing was a stereo... we made due just fine. We will certainly recommend it to anyone, as long we don't have plans to come back that week.

We spent New Years Eve weekend at Casa Kettlewell. We were a group of seven, and were all impressed by the place, particularly the location, convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable space for seven adults. Although a map was provided, it was a little tricky finding the place, and the check-in details were not very clear - it took us a while to find the unit number! Otherwise we received good communication from the manager and booking was easy. We would definitely consider staying again!

I was led to believe this would be a top notch place, but the reality was much less. The place was quite large and the location was as billed, but many little things, that would be so easy to correct, made the stay uncomfortable. the coffee maker and shower were dirty and moldy. The bedding (comforters) were visibly soiled and we didnt want to touch them let alone sleep under them. The cups were all chipped, the pans were all dirty and there were only stainless steel wine glasses. We could never use the dvd player and the tv and internet went out halfway through our stay. But it couldnt be easier to find the place and the parking was the best. It was walking distance to everything. We overall enjoyed our stay, but expected much more based on the price we payed. It would be so easy to maintain this place to a higher standard. We would have brought our own stuff if we knew the condition of some of the household items and would have been much more comfortable.
