Welcome To Falcon Retreat, our family's Whistler holiday home. This is a great place for your vacation headquarters while you enjoy all that Whistler Resort has to offer. The unit has a feeling of light and space, with its high ceilings and views of Whistler, Blackcomb and Whistler Golf Course. The woodburning fireplace adds a cozy touch, the right place to curl up in front of after a hard day.

 

 If you are a third party booking agent, you must read this paragraph.  We do not rent to third party agents.  If you are not a guest who is staying in the unit with your group then your reservation will not be honoured.  Our policies are very clear as to the liability and all guests must provide a copy of their drivers license and credit card that will accompany the signed contract.  It is your responsibility to read our policies prior to booking.

The living room is very comfortable. For your entertainment, you'll find a 52" Flat Screen TV, DVD,  CD/cassette stereo and a number of popular board games. With a fire going in the beautiful rock fireplace, the ambience is warm and relaxing.

The Dining Area has a Pub Style Table that seats 8 with unobstructed views of the mountains.  Deck is located off dining area with open concept to living room and kitchen for great entertaining.

Dear Guest(s), Family & Friends;

Welcome to my Whistler Home. Just a couple of things before you get started on your vacation. This is not a Hotel, this is a private residence, please treat this home as you would your own.

There is a guide of many places to enjoy on your stay located in the dining room on the corner shelf. The TV instructions are listed on a separate paper. Do not move TV from its position. Towels have been provided; you will find them on your bed. Do not use the decorative towels hanging in the bathrooms. Thank you.

The following is a list of things that must be done on your departure:

• Please strip all beds and put linens in Laundry, please start laundry
• Put all dishes in the dishwasher and start load
• Empty Coffee maker
• Remove all Garbage from bathrooms and Kitchen and dispose of it at the bottom of hill on your way out. The garbage bins are located in the block structure on Left as you leave Unit.
• Remove any items from the fridge that will spoil
• Lock All patio doors / windows
• Leave Garage Opener on Kitchen Counter
• Set Alarm, Lock Front Door

NOTE: To friends, please make sure that you leave required amount of money in the kitchen for cleaning of the unit.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Policy Description
Arrival Days Guests can arrive on any day of the week. There are no arrival day restrictions
Cancellations Made by Guests Cancellation by Guest: All payments are non-refundable. If we can replace your booking, we will refund your money at the re-booked rate minus a 4% cancellation fee
Courtesy Hold Reservations For maximum fairness for all, we operate on a first come first serve basis and do not. The first party to book the property by clicking RESERVE NOW gets the dates in question.
Delayed Arrivals No Refunds.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Will be provided by the property manager.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract Will be provided in an email. Must be read, signed and returned by fax to 1-480-481-0999.
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses

The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guest Stay Policies

Policy Description
Check-In Time 4:00 PM. Early check-in can be arranged. Contact us for details.
Check-Out Time 10:00 AM. Late check-out can be arranged. Contact us for details.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guest is responsible for paying excessive cleaning costs stemming from extraordinary cleaning above the standard typical Guest stay. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.
Excessive Noise If the Police are called immediate eviction will be enforced. No refund will be provided
Garbage Removal This main dumpster for the complex is located in the shed across the driveway from unit #3. No key is required.
Housekeeping Cleaning after departure is included; in addition, guests staying 8 nights or more receive a complimentary change of towels and bedsheets every 5th day. Additional housekeeping can be arranged for a fee
Liability The Guest doing the booking is responsible and liable for all damages for ensuring that these policies are respected and adhered to. Guest releases property owners from liability for theft or injury while in transit to the property, in the property,or on resort lands
Locking Door It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that the property is secured each time they leave. If as a result of the guest damage or theft occurs, Guest will assume all responsibility. If Guest looses garage door opener, Guest will assume the cost of replacement.
Maintenance Emergencies Cell number will be provided.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 10. This is a strict policy due to Whistler's zoning laws. Additional persons will result in immediate eviction. Owner also reserves the right to reverse the reservation within 24 hours of booking.
Missing Items Guests will assume costs of replacing items that are missing upon the Guest departure.
Noise Restrictions Disturbing neighboring residents is prohibited. Fines will be levied on the spot to Guests who are disturbing the peace. Guests may also be evicted from the premise by the strata security company. Guests are also responsible for fines levied agains the Owner as result of noise bylaw infringements by the Guest. Normal conversation pitch is accepted. Continued screaming, yelling and/or swearing is not. The Owner will not refund evicted Guests.
Parking & Ticketing Parking only in garage (two cars) All guests must park on the street and not block the driveway or clear access for other residents.
Policy Updates Guests are accountable to the policies posted on my web site at the time of booking the property.
Property Damage Property damage of common or private property includes: physical damage, excessive cleaning, defacing property, excessive noise, littering, lude public behavior, missing items/theft. Guest agrees to pay up to $1,500 CAD for all private or common property damage caused by the Guest themselves, or a member of their party. Guests may also be evicted.Refunds will not be issued in the event of eviction. Owner reserves the right to request Guest account inactivation.
Rental Accommodation Zoning This property is zoned for nightly rentals.
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage All Gear should be stored in the Mud Room or Garage, not in the living area of the home. No gear that has been broken or un-useable should be left on the property. Dispose of broken items in the garbage dumpster at bottom of driveway in Concrete structure.
Terms of Eviction More than one complaint from security will result in eviction. Complaints from the neighbours will result in eviction with no refund. This is a quiet neighbourhood.

Check In Info

How do I get the check-in information? When we receive your final payment, we will send you resort information, door codes, complete instructions and emergency contact information in the mail.
What if I leave the check-in information at home by mistake? Please let us know as soon as possible (while you are en route) and we will geive you the information over the telephone.

Check In

How do I check in? We will send you the door code via email, with instructions. You just arrive in Whistler and go straight to the property. You do not have to go anywhere first-start having a great time and go DIRECT to our home!
Can I check-in early? Please check with us a few days before you arrive. If someone is leaving on your arrival day, then we cannot guarantee that it will be ready before 4:00 pm. Sometimes, you can check in early-please inquire!
Can I drop off luggage early? Yes, as long as the previous guest's are gone, and you leave everything in the hall with a note for our cleaners. KNOCK ON THE DOOR IF YOU ARE ARRIVING BEFORE 4:00 PM!!

Check Out

Can I check out late? Please inquire with us as few days before your arrival if you want to check-out late. It may be possible.
What is the check out time? 10:00 am. This is strictly enforced!
What if we are not out by 10am? If you leave late, then the next guest will arrive to a dirty condo because our cleaners could not clean it on time. they will be left waiting until the evening before they can start their vacation! How would you feel if it was YOU?
How do I check-out? Ensure the doors are locked, turn on alarm system and leave. (The door code and alarm system are routinely changed.)

Emergencies

What if something goes wrong? We have 24 hour emergency support. Contact information is provided with final payment!
What if the property is not cleaned when we get there? If it is after 4 pm, something likely went wrong. Contact us, and we will fix is immediately. If we are unable to do so, there is a complete set of clean linens in the property, and the property will be property cleaned first thing the next morning. We will also be doing our best to compensate you for the mistake.
