As soon as you open the door, with a keyless entry system, you'll notice the luxury and spaciousness of our home. It is rare to find such a large 1 bedroom!

    Our home has been professionally redecorated with luxurious furnishings; carpet, tiles, slate floors, paint, countertops, washer and dryer, dishes, mattresses, and furniture. The master bedroom has a beautiful duvet cover and king bed. Enjoy watching TV in bed if you desire. The attached bathroom is handicap accessible and has a bath and shower. Curl up with a book in front of the fireplace or play a game at the dining table while listening to your favorite CD. Cook up that special meal with our fully stocked kitchen. Barbeque out on the deck while enjoying the awesome mountain views! Catch a suntan or watch the sunset. Your choice! After a full day, soak in the shared Hot Tub and enjoy the magic of Whistler!

    Catering This can be arranged, 14 day prior notice is needed. Meals are ordered and paid for on-line. At your convenience, the dinner is delivered to you.

    Grocery Delivery With 7 days notice, your groceries can be ordered and paid for on-line. They will be waiting for you in your unit on arrival.

The member of the party who is making the reservation must be at least 21 years of age and will be held responsible for the rest of the group. We reserve the right to ask for ID when you check in.
    Non-Smokers Only No smoking allowed Thank you. Violation will result in no deposit refund. Guest liable for costs of special cleaning (including carpets) if housekeeping staff detect any smoking in the condo. Repeated offence will result in eviction.
    Young Adult Groups 17-24 With Accompanying Age-Eligible Adult(s)
    Not Suitable For:
    Graduation & Stag/Stagette Parties Absolutely no graduation, stag, stagette or parties of any kind are allowed. Rule breakers will be evicted with no deposit refund.
    Pets No pets allowed under any circumstances. Violation will result in no deposit refund. Guest liable for costs of special cleaning (including carpets) if housekeeping staff detect any presence of pets in the condo. Violation will also result in eviction with no deposit refund.

    Reservation & Cancellation Policies

    Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable, If booking can be replaced discretionary refunds may be possible. Refunds or portions thereof will be refunded based on the number of nights rebooked & rebooked rate; refunds will be subject to a minimum 25% cancellation fee of the total reservation amount. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect you against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products. Any and all refunds if applicable relating to a reservation are in Canadian Dollars and made by cheque only.
    Cancellations Made by Owners We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to a late payment or if you violate any of our published policies. All payments are non-refundable.
    Courtesy Hold Reservations Reservations are confirmed with payment. Only down payment of 25% holds your reservation
    Delayed Arrivals Delayed Arrivals not covered. No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals!
    Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Complete resort information, arrival/check-in instructions with access code will be delivered via e-mail. Information e-mailed upon receipt of full payment
    Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
    Guest Stay Contract By reserving online via your credit card, you are agreeing to abide by our stated policies, terms and conditions. By clicking the AGREE button when paying online through, the guest acknowledges that they have legally accepted, read, understood, agree with and will comply with all our the stated policies, terms and conditions, including payment terms, on this web site.
    Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
    Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by due dates will result in automatic cancellation without a deposit refund. Rebooking is possible if the dates are still available. Deposit fee will not be recharged.
    Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Guests also agree to not use Owner or Contact personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Owners and their Contact.
    Reservation Changes If availability permits & in concordance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit calculated on the original amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance, then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.

    Guest Stay Policies

    Excessive Cleaning Costs Please refer to check out conditions. If additional cleaning or maintenance is required minimum charges apply. $50 per hour for additional cleaning, $25 for cleaning products, $150 for carpet cleaning, $100 for management and administration, $100 for lost fobs/access cards, For violation of no smoking policy, no pets policy, no parties policy. The total damage deposit will be kept with no damage deposit refunded.
    Amenity Terms of Use Communal amenities must be used in accordance with strata policies. We assume no responsibility for any communal facilities that are unavailable for use during your stay.
    Check-In Time From 4 PM (Strictly Enforced).
    Check-Out Time 10 AM (Strictly Enforced). Please honor this so as to give our cleaner enough time to prepare for the next guest.
    Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
    Excessive Noise Noise beyond normal conversation levels which disturbs others in the building, especially after 10PM or before 7 AM is prohibited according to strata bylaws and is strictly enforced. More than two complaints of excessive noise will result in eviction without a refund!
    Housekeeping Complimentary before arrival and after departure and every 7 nights for stays of 14 nights or more. Light housekeeping every 7 days for stays longer than 14 nights. This includes a towel change, light wipe of kitchen and bathroom, carpets vacuumed if needed, linens changed, and toilet paper stocked.
    Liability We assume no responsibility or liability for any losses, bodily injury, or harm to guests or guests of guests while they are in our property, in transit to or from resort, or at any location in resort. Guests visit and use our property at their own risk.
    Maintenance Emergencies Unforseen problems. Emergency number is in welcome book in unit and on the front door.
    Property Damage Any damage to the home, property or belongings. We also reserve the right, at our discretion, to collect a property damage deposit prior to arrival ranging from $500 to $1500. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises. Refund if applicable is in Canadian Dollars and by cheque. Violations and property damage the total deposit will be kept with no damage deposit refunded.
    Maximum Sleeping Capacity Designed and set up for a maximum of 5 persons (4 adults 1 child). Having more guests than were notified at the time of booking or without prior arrangement with us will result in eviction
    Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items.
    Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice.
    Rental Accommodation Zoning
    Resort Information Folders in unit. Brochures and information on dining, rentals, activities etc
    Terms of Eviction Complaints will result in eviction by security service without refund for remaining nights. No Parties, Smoking, excessive noise, threat of common or private property damage, disturbing the peace. You will not receive a refund!

    Best burgers Splitz ---- built to order while you watch.
    Best desserts We love the variety of desserts offered at the Marketplace IGA, something for everyone! Be sure to arrive before their closing time of 9pm.
    Best place for breakfast/brunch The Chateau serves the most incredible, overwhelming, and immense brunch you will probably ever encounter. Somewhat expensive, but ideal for a very special occasion!
    Favorite ethnic restaurants Thai One On in the upper village can challenge the most daring taste buds.
    Favorite family restaurant We love Earls and The Brew House!

    For Skiers and Boarders Only

    Best lunch strategies If you"re like us, you don"t like to take time or spend the money on lunch. Bring up a fanny pack with trail snack, candy or power bar, and water bottle to munch on the chair rides up. Other choice is to make a lunch and bring it up in a back pack. Store it near one of the day lodges on the hill where you can get it and have a quick, inexpensive bite in the lodge. There are microwaves in the lodges also for a warmed up meal.
    My Weather tips! Don"t make the decision whether or not to go up on the mountain based on what you see in the village. On top, the conditions quite often are very different. Check the Allura web site for updated reports at the different levels on the hill.

    Just for Kids!

    Cool playgrounds Rainbow Park is accessible via the bike trail or car. Lots of grass and great water cannons to have fun with.
    Great kids activities The Meadow Park sports complex has a great swimming pool, whirl pool, rope swing etc along with weight room, squash courts and ice rink for the older ones.
    Great places to eat with kids The good "ol Spaghetti Factory, Splitz burgers.


    My top nightlife tips Cross country sking around Lost Lake with the trail lit up with twinkling lights. The snow sparkles in the trees. Truly magical!!!

    On a Personal Note

    What makes Whistler so special and unique? Whistler in the winter is magical at night. After spending an incredible day skiing/boarding on one of the world's most varied mountains, to be able to casually stroll through the village is a real treat. Window shopping, people watching, or taste testing the variety of restaurants scattered amongst the twinkling lights of the village is wonderful. Summertime Whistler offers so many outdoor options, you could spend weeks trying them all out

    The Drive to Whistler

    My safety tips for drivers new to Hwy 99 Try it in daylight hours and keep the speeds down. If you have time, pull off the road to enjoy the views, instead of trying to rubberneck as you drive this curvey road.
    What I like about the drive This drive during daytime hours on a sunny day in the spring will take your breathe away.
    Worst thing about the drive Leaving late at the end of a weekend and having to plod along with the procession of cars heading back to reality.

    Whistler Activities

    Best day hikes Musical Bumps up on top of Whistler. Take the Gondola up to the Roundhouse. You"ll think you"re in Heaven! We liked the loop from Burnt Stew to Musical Bumps and then back to the gondola to ride down
    Best places to go swimming Lost Lake---nippy but clean, clear, and refreshing!
    Funky stores The Daily Planet ---One in the Village and another at Function Junction 5 miles south of town. Unique home furnishings and knick knacks. Owners are really friendly.
    Great walks to take Cheakamus Lake is an easy 1.5 hr walk with beautiful old growth forest, rushing river, and pretty lake.
    Places to work out Whistler Racket Club-- small exercize room. The 3 indoor/ 4 outdoor tennis courts are great. Hardly ever busy during the winter!
    Worst day hike Wedgemont Lake is beautiful but not recommended unless you are in incredible shape. I"ve never hiked anything this steep!

    About Us

    We are two friends both with families. After many fantastic holidays here we just had to own a part of this beautiful place. Whistler has everything: mountains, skiing, hiking, biking, lakes, shopping, restaurants and bars. All you could ever want whilst on holiday. Whistler has something for all ages in all seasons.     We really enjoyed this condo. It is in a great location, close to groceries, liquor, shuttle bus, shops, restaurants, skating rink. You could also walk to the ski lifts if you want; about 10 minutes. We walked one day and took the shuttle the rest of the days, then usually walked back at the end of the day. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The building's outdoor hot tub was great too. The building had underground parking for our vehicle as well. We also used the in-suite laundry, which was great.

    There was a bit of confusion when checking in, as we were checking in late and forgot to inform them of this, so had difficulty getting in on the first night, but this was a minor inconvenience.

    I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

    Ok condo

    Cons: This condo was a bit disappointing. It definitely wasn't cleaned before we arrived. There was hair in the tub, as well as mildew. There was also hair on the sheets. The bed was not comfortable at all. The description stated it was "new carpet" but I think it was used carpet, but just newly installed and sewn together in places.

    Pros: If you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room, then this condo would work. The location was great. The owner was always prompt at returning my emails. I did let him know about the lack of cleanliness. He did offer to have the cleaners come but I had already wiped everything down and washed the sheets, so it wasn't necessary.

    Great Place in Marketplace Lodge

    We stayed for two weeks in April and thought it was a great place. Everything was exactly as described and the unit was fully equipped. New carpets, new HDTV were nice. Good hot tub.

    We have stayed in Whistler about a dozen times but I can tell you the location of this place was really good. It is just a two minute walk to get groceries, drug store, liquor store. You don't need to stock up at all, just get your food every day or two. All restaurants are easy walking distance. The shuttle stop is right outside, and the shuttle ride to the base is minutes only.

It is so good to have a washer/dryer, plus a dishwasher in the condo, as well free wifi and a parking spot, downstairs. The location is perfect and the view is beautiful, from the balcony and from the window seat in the living area. The condo is an easy walk to anywhere in Whistler Village or across to Backcomb.     Came to Whistler over Labour Day weekend. The condo is the most comfortable I've stayed in of all vacation rentals by owner. Literally located within one end of the village with easy access to all amenities and activities. Owner is prompt, courteous, and easy to communicate with.     Hi there, I spent a week here with my little boy and we loved it! Peaceful, good bed, a lot of space, big kitchen with everything, washing machine; great place to stay in Whistler.     The homeowner was very prompt in his communication amd was quite friendly. The bus stop to get to Whistler base is a 2 minute walk and was crowded but we always made the bus, which csme every few minutes anyways. There's a market with anything and everything you could need within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again if I'm looking for a convienently close, inexpensive place to stay while Skiing at Whistler.

    The apartment was perfect, alot larger than appears in the photos. Everything was already supplied for us such as dishwashing tablets, washing detergent, various sauces and condiments in the fridge, and many more things. Quite alot of storage and the wifi worked perfectly for our entire month long stay. Location was great, right above marketplace with IGa, Chemist, liquor store and bus stop steps away. Very large bathroom with plenty of room for two girls entire sets of makeup and products to be spaciously layed out on the surfaces (which is very rare!). We didn't find a single issue with the apartment, and loved our stay! Perfect for a couple or two singles willing to share a massive king bed.

    The unit was very cozy and so convenient for our trip. We came to do the Ironman Canada in august, all the events surrounding the Ironman was literally out the back door. Many restaurants, shops, bars/pubs were within a few moments walk. The ski lifts are right there as well, it was not ski season but one lift was going taking adventurous soles up the mountain to ride thier mountain bikes down. Whistler is an absolute gorgeous location with walking trails, hiking trails, bike trails in abundance. The aW Condo is extremely comfortable and cozy, highly recommended!

    We - a family of 2 adults and two teenage girls - rented this unit as our base during the GranFondo Race festivities. It turned out to be a perfect frame for our weekend: It was spacious, cozy, in perfect condition, spotless clean and very well equipped (electric kettle, key spices etc.). It was also a perfect location for us - a skip and a jump from the Olympic Stage and finishing line of the bike race and short walk to a superb supermarket that had everything we needed. We would rent this unit again in a heartbeat for a next visit to Whistler, as it would be perfect for both Summer and Winter activities.

    Communication was excellent and the check-in very easy The condo was clean and larger than most other 1 bedroom condos I've stayed in before, which made it a very comfortable stay as we were a group of 4. The location was ideal for us with it being in the village and it was also close enough for us to walk to the slopes. We didn't use the car at all during our stay which was great. I will definitely come back and would highly recommend this as a great place to stay. Excellent value for money!!! What I liked best was the cleanliness and location What I liked least is I had to go back to work after the weekend.

    I am only giving this place (2) stars because of the surrounding community. The location of this condo is excellent. Unfortunately the condo itself was exceptionally dirty. We arrived sometime before 6:00 p.m. and were greeted by a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. The stove, refrigerator, cabinets and drawers were all disgusting. My wife couldn't take it - an spent about 3 hours our first night cleaning up the whole place... I sent an email over night to the owner...and the next morning, he emailed back with a request of photo's "to support my allegations". (Nice attitude) I provided the photos and will gladly provide them to anyone that wants them. Through a series of emails, it was offered to us that the cleaning crew would come back-over to the condo to "re-clean" the place...but who wants the cleaning crew who did a lousy job in the first place to come back-over (after we have unpacked) to interrupt our vacation - when the surrounds of Whistler Beckons. The owner said he would call me to discuss, but since he lives in the UK, the timing didn't work on the only attempt that he made at 3:30 p.m (again, I am not hanging around the condo for a phone call). I really would have thought that he would have put more effort into making our stay more pleasant... Furthermore, I never received an apology or any amount of a refund for our displeasure. The only communications since our stay was urging me to write a review... Well you have your review Richard. To any potential renters: I would recommend that you look elsewhere if you have any type of hygienic standards. By the way, the ambiance of the condo was a bit disturbed by the sign on the wall exclaiming no smoking and the other sign on the kitchen counter announcing - new carpet - please remove your shoes. ... You should have seen the bottoms of our bare feet...Yuck... Oh, and the the threadbare sheets and towels were lame as well. Not happy!

    Mid December 2011 I engaged the services of a new cleaning company and carried out some repairs and replacements to the condo which included but were not limited to the following: new bedding, towels, kitchen-wear, microwave, carpets, washer, dryer and 40” HDTV. Since this time (as you will see from reviews since December to this one), I have received nothing but good reviews, which is why I was surprised at the level of complaint I received 21:32 Local Time, 05:32 UK time. Note: my emergency contacts in resort and Vancouver were not contacted as per arrival instructions. My Complaints Policy asks guests to report all complaints to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. My first response confirmed and thanked them for their e-mail, and assured them that I took the content very seriously! I requested photographs to support allegations (as per my policy) and also asked if they contacted my emergency contacts to report the issues? Unfortunately the guest took offence at this. My second response thanked them again for reporting their concerns and photos and addressed various issues within the content. I explained the use of the word “allegations”. This term was not used by me in an adversarial manner, rather it is a term commonly used to describe an assertion made by a person that must be proved or supported with evidence for me to take action, hence my polite e-mail and request for photographs. I at no time made reference to doubting their honesty, accused them of being scammers or indicated that they would have staged photographs (which also formed the basis of their responses). The guest asked me “what I was going to do about it” and stated “By the way, the place is clean enough for us now. I don't want anyone coming over here. Frankly I don't trust them.” What I would have done given the opportunity is ensured the cleaning company addressed all items listed, ensuring that the works be carried out at a convenient time so as not to disturbed their vacation. However this was not facilitated by the guest. I tried contacting this guest numerous times by phone and also stayed up late so they could telephone back if required (may contact details are available). A female friend of mine also drove up from Vancouver to discuss the situation and deliver a new coffee machine to replace the one this guest broke. But face to face contact was not made. I did send an apology e-mail and asked in this guest’s view what would be a satisfactory solution however I did not receive a response. The work completed following this guest’s stay is listed below, which would have been carried out on his arrival if he had telephoned my emergency contacts in resort. -Bleached inside/outside of fridge, pulling it out from wall and scrubbing underneath where it usually sits. -Thorough oven clean. -Pulling out items from inside of cupboards and cleaning shelves. -Microwave oven cleaned. -Sink 'Vimmed'. -Kitchen floors scrubbed. -Bathroom scrubbed from top to bottom including clean between shower doors, grout bleached etc... -Rest of unit dusted and wood polished as usual and a light deck clean as the heavy clean was carried out a week earlier. I agree it should have been completed prior to arrival but from previous comments I was unfortunately unaware.

    Richard's apartment was clean, spacious and very conveniently located. Communication was excellent which made check-in very easy. The building is very secure and there's secure underground parking as well. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you would need and your right next to IGa grocery store, the Post Office, drug store, liquor store and restaurants. I would recommend it highly.

    we had a great time at your condo, thank you for letting us stay! The condo was perfectly situated within the town, we used our vehicle only once to go golfing out in Pemberton the one day, and walked the rest! The only feedback I have, is that there was no dust pan available after sweeping, the 2nd swipe card was unavailable for our use because it was 'broken' apparently, and we ran out of toilet paper the 3rd day ;) Other than that, I cant complain for the cost and the location. Whistler was just as I had imagined, and we'll be back next year!

    We had a great stay at the aW condo. The system Richard has in place for checking in and access to the unit worked very well. The condo was clean, quiet, in good condition, and in a convenient location. We prepared most of our meals in the condo which was adequately stocked with basic utensils. On my next visit I hope to find the kitchen stocked with salt & pepper and a few other things that had been used up and not re-stocked. All in all we had a fun time and would come back again.

    Location was great as a first timer to Whistler but would not stay here again especially in peak season. Bed was really not that comfortable and the carpet needs cleaning, otherwise rest of suite was good.

    Whister Village Weekend

    My wife and I went to Whistler for the weekend to get a pair of ski boots. We enjoyed the unit. Check in was difficult because the code hadn't been changed and it took about 20 min to get someone there and get in the unit. The unit is good sized, especially the bath. While the unit is very nice, it does need some love. The carpet is in poor condition, stained and frayed. Dishes and pots and pans should also be upgraded and the bath should have the caulk replaced. We would also suggest replacing the TV and cabinet with a flat screen mounted on the wall (more room). It wasn't a big deal because we don't watch much TV. The TV cabinet was pretty beat up. Location is great, the view is away from the main Whistler complex which makes it a bit quieter. Whistler can be very noisy (this is summertime). The olympic plaza opened the weekend we were there and the party lasted until 3:30 am. We would certainly consider staying in the unit again and felt that the pricing was very fair.

    Booking this condo was very convenient. I created an account and payed on-line without any hassles. I received confirmation right away and all details relating to the our stay. All rules and regulations were stated and easy to read. Directions to the condo and how to check in were very detailed and easy to follow. The condo itself was very cute and had plenty of space. We had five girls share this space with out any problems. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make a great meal. The location was perfect; being across from IGa, starbucks and liquor store. We were a few steps away from the beginning of the village walkway. The hot tub was great and we used it regularly. We wanted a girls getaway to enjoy what whistler has to offer and this condo allowed us to do just that. Thank you for the great condo and we will definitely be back.

    Living in Vancouver and being an avid skier, I have stayed in Whistler countless times. I have to say, this unit is one of the largest and well maintained and clean I have seen thus far. It has a superb location, in the village, but far away from the bars and late night rumble. Not to mention right across the supermarket, coffee and take-out places. The owner is very accommodating, the instruction to access a unit were simple and clear. It was really no hassle to make a booking, to check in or check out. I am definitely planning to come back.

    I mean no disrespect, but this MarketPlace condo was noticeably lacking compared to the other 20+ condos I've rented in Whistler Village in the last several years. On the good side: location, size, well designed ski storage, nice parking with higher than average clearance, hot-tub was wonderfully hot, wi-fi worked perfectly. But it needs the following: -> The whole building really needs to solve the awkward limited key-card access set up. We were locked out at least 10 times. Being given 2 keys for 4 people just isn't enough when it takes 5 or 6 card swipes to get something out of the car, go to the hot-tub or outside for any reason. It's ridiculous. -> Fix the shower door that is falling off. It's clearly been that way for a long time now based on other prior renter comments left. -> Fix/replace the broken dishwasher. Wheels missing, and most dishes come out still dirty. -> Fix the kitchen faucet so it doesn't leak water all over with very use. -> Fix the kitchen spray nozzle that is broken off. -> Upgrade the $19 cheapo coffee maker to one that doesn't leak and take 1/2 hour to make a pot. -> Upgrade to some decent basic utensils and kitchen tools. The mix of yard-sale quality stuff is shabby. -> Install a toilet paper holder rather than just leaving a role on the counter. -> Supply a box of basic tissues. -> There were 3 remote controls, none worked for the TV. -> Master bed was big, but uncomfortably hard and thin. It may sound like we're fussy kitchen snobs, but that's hardly the case. The shortcomings were just that obvious. We only made breakfast and spent the rest of the time out on the mountain and village. All of these can be solved with minimal effort. The fact that they've been neglected for what appears to be a prolonged time, leaves me with little hope. Personally, I will be avoiding this location in the future. Good luck with your rental business.

    No disrespect intended is not necessary, being an overseas owner I rely on the maintenance company and guests comments. Guest comments in particularly are an invaluable tool. I forwarded your comments to my maintenance company; they reported back that they had previously repaired the shower door and were not aware it had come off the rails again. The other items you have mentioned will be attended to immediately. Maintenance apologized for this bad review and sated they will ensure that these items of complaint are not repeated.

    The location and price make this a good place to stay. It is right next to a grocery store, liquor store, starbucks and also the bus stop. If you did not want to take the short bus ride to the lifts, then it will take about 10minutes to walk. There is a community hot tub that fits quite a few people. There are 4 shower towels provided, but no towels for more than 4 people and no towels for the hot tub. This would have been good info to know before going. There is a nice King size bed in the bedroom, a queen pullout, a short, small daybed like thing against the window and then a blow up bed. Our biggest complaint is there is only one key. You need the key to get into the building, the elevator and the parking garage. My wife does not ski, but my friends and I do. This meant either we had to take the key with us and my wife couldnt leave the room or my wife keep the key and we plan a time to meet at the lobby. Or if you go out at night, everybody has to come home at the same time. Very inconvenient!!! You can get a second key, but you have to call a phone number and then pay a $100 deposit. Overall-good place to stay, but needs to have more towels and at least two lodge/room keys available. Also the shower doors come off track easily and need to be fixed.

    I love staying at Marketplace lodge because we just park the car and everything (i.e. grocery store, coffee shops, video store, bank, retail outlets) is within walking distance or we take the free shuttle, which is just outside the lodge, to the ski lifts. The location is wonderful and so hassle free. After a day of skiing, the condo was a great place to relax with the fireplace on while sitting on the window seat and people watching, as below, others moved about their business in Marketplace Square. The mountain views are also spectacular. The unit has plenty of storage for our ski equipment (5 set of skis, boots, helmets, etc.) so that they weren't an eye sore. The in suite washer and dryer is also a bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this unit.
