Enjoy our home with views of the Valley Mountains and walk to Whistler village and gondola or ski in, ski out (steps and short hike). This spacious home sleeps 10 in four large bedrooms. Enjoy two en-suite bathrooms and one other bathroom, a hot tub on its own private deck, wood burning fireplace, BBQ, vaulted cathedral ceilings, large picture windows with views of the Valley Mountains, a two car garage, a heated boot and ski room and lots more.

Ski-in via a ski trail off the Lower Olympic ski run that ends with a climb down 100 plus stairs to the middle of the Northern Lights neighborhood just a few homes away from your front door. Guests can use this same access, just a short walk from the house, to ski-out by climbing up the stairs and then a short hike up the ski trail to the Lower Olympic run. Alternatively drive or taxi 2 minutes to the base of Whistler Village to access the gondola and lifts adjacent to the Westin Resort & Spa. The ski access is more suitable for intermediate and higher skiers.

Property Description

Views of the Valley Mountains and only a short distance to the heart of Whistler village. Four bedroom, three bathroom, three level townhome offers mountain views, a private hot tub and wood burning fireplace amongst other great features (see photos and video for tour of the home) to make your vacation memorable. Relax in the cozy open plan living and dining room with vaulted cathedral windows whilst enjoying the view of the valley mountains, wood burning fireplace and the fully equipped kitchen which features stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Head out to the private balcony and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains while tending to the BBQ or relax in the private hot tub on the side deck. The garage and entryway are located on the first floor with stairs leading up to the main living floor. Located on the top floor is the master bedroom which features a four poster king bed, flat screen TV and an ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and large shower. The second master bedroom also on this upper level features a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with a double vanity, and a bathtub with overhead shower. The third and fourth guest bedrooms are located on the main living floor. The third guest bedroom features two bunk beds (one with a double bottom bed) and the fourth guest bedroom features a queen bed and sliding door access to the deck with the hot tub. The separate bathroom on this level features an oversized glass-enclosed shower and double vanity.

NORTHERN LIGHTS #34 is in a superb location. 10 minute walk to the village and yet peaceful. SKI-IN / OUT 100 stairs and a short hikes brings you to the Olympic run on Whistler Mountain. From here, you ski down to the Whistler and Blackcomb Gondolas. Ski home to the top of the stairs.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable unless we can replace your reservation. We will refund your money or part of it if we can replace your booking at the same amount of the gross rent for the complete booking that you made; all cancellation refunds are subject to a 10% cancellation fee of the original booking.
Cancellations Made by Owners We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to a late payment or if you violate any of our published policies. All payments are non-refundable.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for arrival delays
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Door code and directions will be provide at time of check in.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. Guest Identification Documents The person securing the booking will be required to present identification documentation upon check-in. We and our in-resort contacts reserve the right to ask all Guests for identification (one with photo) before or during their stay, to confirm their eligibility to book and stay in our property.
Guest Stay Contract By reserving online via your credit card, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Guest Stay Policies

Amenity Terms of Use Please respect all private and common amenities of the property. Damage or excessive cleaning to any amenity will be charged to the Guest responsible.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Extra charges will be made for excessive cleaning of the unit on departure.
Excessive Noise You will be evicted without a refund.
Housekeeping Clean on arrival; cleaned after departure; once on the 7th day if staying 14 days or longer. Additional cleaning may be scheduled at the guest's request and expense
Internet Availability & Usage Free wireless Internet is available at the full responsibility of the guest using it. Illegal downloads are forbidden. Should we receive notification that such activity has occurred; the Guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler Resort.
Locking Door Guests are required to securely lock all doors and entrances when they are not in the unit or upon departure.
Maintenance Emergencies Call check in desk
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 10 persons overnight - excess occupants will result in eviction.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per my stated damage deposit policies.
Noise Restrictions Excessive noise from the unit is not tolerated at anytime and can result in eviction. Quite time is between 10 pm and 8 am. Occupants may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for costs resulting from noise complaints, which charges are not limited to, but could include security patrols and Strata fines. The outdoor hot tub area can be used after 10 pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation out of respect for our neighboring families.
Parking & Ticketing Parking information will be provided in your check-in and arrival instructions. We are not liable for any parking tickets or towing fees you may incur. Please do not park on any roadway unless you have a parking pass displayed in your vehicle and only then in the designated spots. Please request the parking pass at time of check in.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice.
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guest of tenants. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property or occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises. Housekeeping - guests are expected to leave the property in a reasonably tidy condition including placing all dishes in dishwasher, and garbage should be placed in bin in the shed which is next door to unit #34. A $1,500 damage deposit will be taken as a hold on your credit card at time of check in.

Spacious Home for large groups, close to village

Unit 3* in Northern Lights provided a spacious stay for our group of 8. The home is well appointed and very comfortable. The owner was super attentive to any and all my questions and made the process absolutely easy. I stayed in the MBR and the bed was more comfortable than my bed at home! Overall, excellent place to stay with a large party.

The home is located at the top of the hill/end of the development so its a 10min walk down hill to town. After long days of skiing we opted for a taxi home. Additionally, you can access the trails to ski down to the whistler gondola, but that is also a bit of walk/hike so make sure you are fit!

Would definitely recommend this home. We searched quite a few for our large group and not many 4bdr units in this location and value.

Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the place. Rooms and Bathrooms were spotless. Found some missed spots in the kitchen (including some 'dirty' dishes) as well as dust and an empty can under the couches - note that we had an infant with us, which is why we took a closer look and took a little extra care of cleanliness. Called the Reception who sent Housekeeping the next morning for touch ups. Wonderful Chalet. Thanks again

My group and I had a wonderful stay. It was very spacious, comfortable and had the most beautiful views. The kitchen came stalked with everything we needed to cook and clean and we loved how the garage had a snow room for our boots and boards. It was walking distance to the village, although quite the hike, but we didn't mind at all. The ladies at reception were very helpful as well, with any questions we had. Can't wait to stay here again.

This home is nice and had everything we need. Close enough to walk to village, lots of parking, 4 bedrooms with queen or king sized beds and a hot tub! Well maintained that the property manager Anne was great to work with.

Northern Lights home was great for the family. Kids had a blast in the hot tub and things worked very smoothly. Location was very convenient, especially for ski school. You had a choice of hiking up to the piste, or driving the kids down and dropping them of at Whistler gondola. Either way, access to the trails was quick. Home is tastefully decorated and comfortable and the only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars is the pillows - which I am really picky about. I would highly recommend this rental to families.

This house worked great to house a big family group under one roof. Full kitchen, deck with BBQ, garage, boot room and hot tub were great to have and the big dining table made it possible to all eat together without having to go out. Easy access to skiing. Only drawbacks were the bunk beds in 4th bedroom not meant for adults and the hot tub is only accessible through the third bedroom.

Beautiful place to stay

House was spacious, and comfortable. Beds, kitchen and bathrooms very clean. Only complaint about the cleaning was dust on certain areas. Needed some rugs cleaned and walls dusted and washed. Maybe because it was the off season and needed a good yearly dusting and carpets cleaned. Hot tubs was well taken care of. Very close to village.

My guests and I had a great weekend at Northern Lights! There were eight of us in the house, but it never felt crowded or noisy. The vaulted ceilings were spectacular, and made the house feel even larger than it is. Everything was in order when we checked in - everything was clean and all amenities available. We couldn't have asked for anything more!
