Non-Smokers Only There is absolutely no smoking inside our unit. There is absolutely no smoking inside our garage. Anyone who smokes must smoke outside the unit. Violation of this policy may result in loss of your damage deposit.
Travel Reseller Bookings - no Referral Fee offered We gratefully accept & invite travel re-seller, tour operator and 3rd party bookings. We do not pay a commission on the posted rate. Please invoice the Guest directly and independently to include your fee.
Young Adult Groups 17-24 With Accompanying Age-Eligible Adult(s) At least one member of your group must be 25 years old. Your group must include at least one mature, responsible adult. Parties in violation of this policy will be evicted with no refund.
Not Suitable For:

Pets We do not allow pets. Breach of this condition will result in a $200 additional fee.
Subleased Tenants We do not allow guests to sublet the unit.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Reservation deposits are non-refundable. The balance payment is only refundable if we are able to re-book your stay. We will charge a 5% cancellation fee on all refunds.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Not accepted. Reservations are confirmed with a 25% reservation deposit. (25% of rent and taxes)
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Once we have full payment of rent, taxes and damage deposit, we will send a detailed information packet. Assuming we have everything, we will send the access code 5 days before arrival. If you do not receive the door code within 5 days of your arrival, contact us IMMEDIATELY. Be sure you have it before you leave home!
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract By reserving online via your credit card, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Reservation Changes If availability permits and in concordance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you have not paid the balance, then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Any excessive cleaning costs are the responsibility of the guest. Fees will be deducted from guest's damage deposit. If fees exceed deposit, guest will pay owner the balance due.
Excessive Noise Any fees or fines resulting from excessive noise is the responsibility of the guest. Fees and fines will be deducted from guest's damage deposit. If fees exceed deposit, guest will pay owner the balance due.
Housekeeping Provided complimentary before and after your stay.
Liability We are excluded from all liability for personal bodily injury and property loss in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property. We maintain full insurance for theft, fire, etc on the property, dwelling and furnishings. However, this may not cover your personal valuables and jewelry.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour assistance is available. Contact information is provided on-site.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 8 people. Strictly enforced. Parties in excess of maximum capacity will be evicted with no refund.
Missing Items Costs to replace missing items are the responsibility of the guest. We charge $100 for a missing garage opener. Fees will be deducted from guest's damage deposit. If fees exceed deposit, guest will pay owner the balance due.
Noise Restrictions Any excessive noise after 11pm may result in a $260 fine, per occurrence. Any and all fines attributable to the guest's reservation are the responsibility of the guest. Fees will be deducted from guest's damage deposit. If fees exceed deposit, guest will pay owner the balance due.

Rental Accommodation Zoning
Resort Information Upon full payment of rent, taxes and damage deposit, we provide very detailed resort information. We also provide information in the condo for you.
Terms of Eviction Guests removed for housing more than 8 people, violating the minimum age requirement, violating the graduation or stag/ettte party policy, disturbing the peace or willfull destruction of property. Our policy is enforced by Arctic Wolf Security and Whistler police. No refunds will be given upon eviction.

Guarantees Policies

My Web Site Guarantee The property shall be clean and in working order. Any deficiencies should be immediately reported to the owner or the emergency contact so that we may address them.
Snow Guarantee If 70% of the lifts are closed on a day of your stay, we will provide a 30% refund of that night’s rent. Valid Dec 23 - Mar 3 only. Guest must notify Owner on the day lifts are closed so that conditions can be verified by the owner.

What discount do you provide for longer stays? Please see our rates table. We provide a discount rate for a full week's stay. If you stay 2 weeks or longer, we can provide further discounts. Please inquire.
If I want to stay a month or longer, what kind of discount do you offer? Rates for month-long, or longer, stays will be determined at the time of inquiry. They will be at a discount to our posted rates.
What kind of lift ticket discounts do you offer? We have found the best way to purchase discounted lift tickets is through Allura Direct. We have one other lesser-known spot we can recommend to guests who book with us.
What kind of golf discounts do you offer? We have found the best way to obtain golf discounts is to reserve a twilight tee time. These times usually begin at 3:30 or 4:00. With the long northern summer days, there is plenty of daylight left. In July it will be light until 9:30 or 10pm! We do have one other contact available to guests who book with us.
What kind of equipment rental discounts can you offer? We are an affiliate of Affinity Sports. They have 7 locations throughout Whistler and we can provide 10% discount on equipment rental and 15% discount on retail purchases at the time of rental. Use affiliate number 1463 at Or, use the discount card found in the welcome basket in our home.
What kind of bike rental discounts do you offer? We are an affiliate of Affinity Sports. Access to resort activities

What is the best way to get to the lifts from your home? There are multiple options for getting to the lifts. For guests with a car, we find the best option is parking on Blackcomb Mountain. From there, you can ski either mountain. Our welcome packet provides more details. Taxis arrive quickly and the ride is short to either mountain's base. The shuttle bus stop is just a few steps from our front door. If you rent your equipment in the village, you can store it there overnight. Without your equipment, the 10-minute walk to and from the lifts is quite pleasant.
How far are you from the village? Village North is a 5 minute walk from our home. The village at the base of Whistler Mountain is about a 10 minute walk. The village at the base of Blackcomb Mountain is about a 15 minute walk. Nestor's is about a 5 minute walk from our home.
How far are you from the valley trail? The Montebello complex is on the valley trail. So, the trail is just across the street from the front door. The trail connects all sorts of Whistler attractions from Lost Lake Park to Meadow Park to Nicklaus North to the villages. You name it, it is most likely on the valley trail. Biking to desintations in the summer is one great way to get around in Whistler!
How far are you from the cross country trails? The main ticket booth for the cross country trails is at Lost Lake Park. We are a 10 minute walk from the ticket booth. If they haven't cleared the valley trail yet, you might be able to cross-country ski there and back.
How far are you from mountain biking trails? Lost Lake affords many opportunities for mountain biking of the old-fashioned sort where you ride up first before you ride down. Lost Lake park is about a 3 minute ride from our home. For taking the lifts up and riding down, you'll want to go to the base of Whistler mountain, which is about a 3 minute ride. There is also a bike and skateboard park about a 3-5 minute ride on the valley trail.
How far are you from hiking trails? Hiking trails are everywhere in Whistler. The closest ones are in Lost Lake park and are about a 10 minute walk away. These are low-rise trails. Further afield, you will find hiking trails for all levels of difficulty. Some of these trailheads are easily reached by bike on the valley trail. Others would require a car or taxi ride. There are also groups which will take you on organized hikes and provide transportation. Of course, you can ride the gondola up Whistler mountain and hike up there too.

Car Rental Questions

Do I need to rent a car? You do not need a car when staying in Montebello. In summer, just about everything is accessible via bikes and the valley trail. In winter, taxis, buses and walking provide everything you need. If you want to go on an adventure further-afield, transportation is generally included in the package. If you'd rather not wait for transportation, renting a car is helpful.

It was pretty much what I expected. Very comfortable and well furnished, especially the kitchen which was a pleasant surprise. This was our 28th visit to Whistler and by far the best accommodations. The only thing I would say about this property is that we were unaware that the kitchen and most of the living space is on the second floor. Normally this is no big deal, but we were traveling with a toddler, which can make the stairs precarious. We created a little pillow wall though, so it wasn't a problem, but it would be good to know when booking the house. Overall our trip was amazing - the house is great!

This was our 25th visit to Whistler in 17 years and the second time we've rented in this development. Accommodations were perfect and spacious. While we were two couple this condo could accommodate a family with small children or teenagers with room to spare, Ease of access into the village via public transport or we chose to walk and get ski valet service at Summit Sports at Whistler Base. A wonderful property! No surprises....pretty much as the website describes. FYI, make sure you get the access code a few days before your arrival (read the fine print). We didn't get it prior and had a few anxious moments on our way up to Whistler wondering if we were going to be able to get in....Catherine did get it to us before we got there though.

Loved that we parked the car for the full 4 days and walked everywhere. Highly recommended.

Pros: - Beautiful and clean interior - Fully-equipped kitchen - Private outdoor hot tub - Comfortable and warm bedrooms - Wireless Internet access - A good selection of board games to play into the night - Very close to the Whistler village - Plenty of clean towels for everyone Cons: - When we arrived for our 4 PM check-in time, the cleaning crew was still there, so we had to wait another hour. - Boot dryer wasn't working, so we were unable to dry our boots for the next day Overall: This is one of the best places I've stayed at. It's perfect for a small group of family and friends. I highly recommend it!

We stayed in our apartment for two weeks and found it to be extremely comfortable and accommodating for five people. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well stocked and offered everything we needed during our stay. We didn't want for anything. The apartment is also located in a safe area, that is within walking distance to the village and all other amenities. The best bit of our stay was that we felt comfortable and at home for the entire two weeks. We would return in a heart beat.

This home was wonderful. Comfortable, stocked, and just as nice as was represented in the ad. Living/ kitchen is on upper level along with Master, with 2 bdrms on main. This was perfect for us with 2 adult kids in tow. Lots of room for all. Kitchen really well stocked with gadgets, pots/pans, dishes. Lots of provisions (olive oil, balsamic vinegar, tea, spices etc) in the cupboard. Short stroll over to the village area. Overall a perfect place to stay for a summer getaway. Catherine was super easy to work with and always responded to questions in preparation for our visit. I hope I have the opportunity to return.

Wonderful family vacation

We used the condo for a family vacation for six adults - three couples. It was very comfortable for all of us, well equiped and I was pleased with the attention to detail! The information package provided answered all of the questions that came up and made our stay hassle-free. The kitchen had everything that we needed and even more, the beds were comfortable, we enjoyed the hot tub -- even the weather was perfect! The condo is well located - we were able to walk into the village and did not need the car at all during our stay. The garage provided a secure area for our bikes. I do hope that we can return again and would look forward to staying here again.

We loved everything about this place. It is very well-maintained and has anything that you would need. The home is conveniently located for walking and driving to Whistler Village. The house is spacious and two families were able to enjoy each other for six days. We would definitely like to return.

Great place, chilled neighborhood, big garage for tinkering with bikes. Oh - and a hot tub. I'll be staying there again for sure.

Our four days at Montebello was a family filled vacation of fun and relaxation. The ability to walk just about anywhere in the village made life with toddlers so easy. Wonderful weather made days at the lake a wonderful experience and there is always something special going on at Whistler in the summer. Catherine and David's home away from home is just that. Three bedrooms with a stocked kitchen and a lovely jacuzzi added to our experience. Thanks guys! We will be back!

Like all of the Montebello properties, this is a very nice piece of property. The location is excellent, and the unit is in good condition. Any issues were addressed by the owner immediately.

Originally from BC, Canada, I had my in-laws over from France for their first visit to my country and had to impress with a visit to Whistler. So I was also very picky about the accomodation, and Montebello's convenient location to the Whistler village (truly walking distance) was a good start. The place was very clean, had all the amenities you could desire (bbq, hot tub, kitchen/cooking elements, wireless internet) and had a warm feeling. After active days exploring Whistler, it is a place you loved going back to for relaxing and enjoying family over good home cooked meals and some French wine! Needless to say, Whistler and our stay in Montebello were one of the highlights and a memory for lifetime.

We really enjoyed the house. Kitchen was amazing and master bedroom was roomy and very comfortable with ensuite bath. Hdtv was nice and very roomy for family with teenagers. It was a bit more of a walk to the village than expected, but not a huge deal. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed for a long weekend. Catherine was very accommodating and provided us with a large supply of information for things to do in the area, to every detail of utilizing the home. My husband & I discovered Rim Rock at Creek side... it is a fabulous restaurant. The home was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. It is a great location for walking into the village and up to the lifts. If you don't want to walk, you can catch the shuttle. The hot tub & the gas fireplace was a perfect way to end the day. We go every year to Whistler in November and this was one of my favorite places to stay.
