Walk to the end of the courtyard click on your skis and you are a minute away from the Wizard quad chair on Blackcomb. Situated perfectly above the famous Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort Hotel.  Our property is located facing the "outside" of the complex and faces towards the West for the afternoon sun.  It faces the treed area on the West of the building so it VERY quiet and will feel like you are alone in the forest!

Our policies are firm and will require your acceptance when you choose to book our home. Please ensure that you read them carefully and contact us if you should have any questions or concerns about them. Deposit is non-refundable. Balance payment is refundable, less 5% transaction fees, if booking is cancelled 60 days or greater in advance. Reservations cancelled 59 days or less in advance are refunded only if we replace your booking. These refunds issued the first day of your (cancelled) arrival where applicable. Damage deposit - please read carefully as there is a zero tolerance policy for excessive cleaning and any damage to the property on departure ( including carpet).
Excessive cleaning costs will be charged back to clients and they are charged to your damage deposit. A standard clean for this property of 5 hours is included on your nightly rate. If on departure the cleaning exceeds 5 hours this cost will be chaged at an hourly rate of $35 Cdn plus gst tax back to the guest. The cleaning company inform owners and we advise guests if the cleaning was excessive and what if so what  charges will apply.
We  pre approve a damage deposit for the amount of $500 This is activated at the front desk on arrival/check-in by staff.  This is not charged at all, this is an approval only. On departure should there be any damage to the property the client will be contacted bu us regarding damage and outcome. If you have any questions regarding this please dont hesiate to contact us prior to your departure. Pease make life easier by discussing any damage that may have occurred prior to check-out. Excessive cleaning will be charged back to the client accordingly.

Property Sale All bookings will be preserved in the event of a property sale. If the booking is not preserved by the new Owners, the new Owners will be contractually bound to move your booking at their expense.
Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit calculated on the orignial amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance,then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests will pay for excessive cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise This is a family-oriented, quiet development. Noise complaints may result in eviction by local police or security personnel. Normal conversation and laughing pitch is permitted. Screaming, swearing, yelling, etc are not.
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for their own garbage removal on days tha the condo is not serviced.
Housekeeping Includes clean on arrival; cleaned after departure; every 5th day if staying 8 days or more. Extra house keeping can be pre arranged at guests own expense
Internet Availability & Usage Complimentary WIFI
Liability The Guest doing the booking is responsible and liable for all damages for ensuring that these policies are respected and adhered to. Guest releases property owners from liability for theft or injury while in transit to the property, in the property,or on resort lands
Locking Door Guests will lock the door when they leave the property to avoid /minimize theft or break-ins.
Maintenance Emergencies Call Whistler Reception Services - details in check-in email
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 4 people maximum, excess guests will be evicted. Additional persons will result in immediate eviction. Owner also reserves the right to reverse the reservation within 24 hours of booking
Missing Items Guests will assume costs of replacing items that are missing upon the Guest departure.
Noise Restrictions Disturbing neighboring residents is prohibited. Fines will be levied on the spot to Guests who are disturbing the peace. Guests may also be evicted from the premise by the strata security company. Guests are also responsible for fines levied agains the Owner as result of noise bylaw infringements by the Guest. Normal conversation pitch is accepted. Continued screaming, yelling and/or swearing is not. The Owner will not refund evicted Guests.
Parking & Ticketing secure parking available $12 daily, less for longer stays. Must purchase ticket on arrival at vending machine in lobby, please collect teh magnetic card to access underground parking area from front desk staff.
Property Damage Guest assumes are financial responsibility for property damage incured by tennants or guest of tennants. We get an approval for $500 tp cpver the damage of our computer and anything ion the condo-this is not charged at all unless any damage occurs

Resort Information Whistler Reception Services will provide Resort Information on confirmation of your booking.
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Please do not store gear inside condo. Free valet storage available to all guests. This is located in teh ski shop, in the lobby area. Drop off gear on check in and this will be stored free of charge for you
Terms of Eviction Will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace.

Guarantees Policies

Reservation Guarantee If our property is damaged & we cannot fulfill your reservation, you will be given the option to either cancel your reservation with a 100% refund, or be moved to a comparable property. Comfortable unit. Had a few minor issues, a few lights not working, tap over bath/shower needs replacing, internet instructions appear to be incorrect. First two items were actioned promptly, but the tap was glued which reoffended. Needs to be replaced. We managed to fluke the internet connection, but not to the network given. Not sure what the other network was, but it worked. Ski in/out was great and the hotel staff were excellent.

Great location!!

Overall, this is a great place to stay. If you're looking for ski in/ski out, the location can't be beat. It was easy to get to Whistler Village - the free shuttle bus comes by very often. It's a few minutes walk to the bus stop, but we never had to wait more than a few minutes for the bus to show up. The unit itself has everything you need for two people. I think it would be crowded with any more than that.

Ski valet was very convenient and the people working there were extremely friendly. However they close at 6pm which means if you want to go to Whistler Village for apres ski, you would not be back in time to check in your skis and you're not supposed to take the skis into the building to your unit (signs say that you can be fined). I don't know how you are supposed to work around that.

It was annoying to have to pay for parking considering I am sure the owner gets one free parking space - if they are not using it, why can't their guests? But this is not unique to the Aspens - almost every complex up there seems to charge for parking in the winter.

The only problem with this unit - and it is significant - is that the management is off site. Whenever we would call them with a question or problem they would never get back to us. It's hard to communicate with them, especially when you are on the slopes all day. There also seemed to be a lack of communication between them and the owners. We had arranged with the owners for a later check out - we were told we could stay until noon instead of 10am. The manager knew nothing about this, so we confirmed with the owners while we were there and made sure the managing agent had a copy of that confirmation (by email). At 11am my friend was locked out of the unit with all of her belongings inside. She had been planning to ski that day until leaving for the airport so this was extremely frustrating for her. There are other units in the Aspens that are managed on-site and I would recommend renting one of them. I would also recommend to the owners that they use that agent.

Despite that, we really did have a great stay and loved this unit. I would definitely stay at the Aspens again.

We had another great stay at #1**. The location is fantastic and the bed is so comfortable. It was great that there was little things like fresh salt and pepper, cling wrap, foil and other condiments which saved on an expensive shop for things that normally get left behind! The shared hot tub is a very welcome luxury at the end of the day! We also enjoyed the luxury of Netflix on the TV for lazy nights in front of the fire on the lovely comfortable sofa which we used as a handy bed a couple of nights due to one of us having a cough.

The apartment was clean and we had a mid-stay clean which was very good, leaving us with lovely fresh towels, hoovered throughout and kitchen/bathroom cleaned.

The kitchen facilities were great as we enjoy cooking meals in the kitchen, however there were a few things that would make this a lot easier: Please supply teaspoons - there are none; wooden chopping board is broken in half so a new one is needed; a better cheese grater; a non-stick baking tray for roasting chicken fillets etc.....there is currently nothing for this so we had to use a glass bowl.

Splendid apartment

So we opened the door after a long flight, and thought how fabulous! The apartment was exactly as the photos and description depicted - which is always a good thing. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed, with all the necessary cooking implements that you need. The bed was super comfy too. It was perfect for a couple. It's really close to Blackcomb lifts and we had no issues with ski-in ski-out even with the really poor snow season this year.

I was a little worried about the distance to Whistler town centre, but it's only a 5 to 8 minute stroll along an attractive path, and we happily did that every night for 8 nights! The hot spas were a welcome relief after a long day skiing, and were well maintained by the complex. The complex also has a ski/snowboard valet service, for overnight storage.
