Welcome to our Vacation Rental!

Living Room
Living Room

Our condo is situated at the newly renovated area of Creekside, voted "best neighbourhood" by Whistlerites. It is a mere 2-3 minute walk to restaurants, pubs, internet cafe, Starbucks, bank and convenience/grocery store, AND the high speed gondola which offers the most comfortable, quickest way to the top of Whistler mountain. We're home to the 5k vertical drop run "Peak to Creek", & the 2010 Olympic Men & Women's Downhill & Super G. We have worked hard to equip our condo with all the comforts and aesthetic pleasures one would expect in a home. Please be sure to review our policies as they have recently changed. Local Tips

Focus on Blackcomb Mountain

Best lunch strategy Not exactly lunch, but the all day waffles at Chrystal Hut rock!

Food and Beverage

Best apres ski As we ski mostly from Creekside, we stop in at Dusty"s at the end of the day (located right next to the Creekside Gondola)
Best local beer Shaftsbury Cream Ale (when you can find it)
Best place for breakfast/brunch The Southside Deli at junction of Hwy 99 and Lake Placid road. Long regarded as a locals haunt for great breakfasts.
Uniquely Canadian Foods to enjoy We usually stop for a Beaver-Tail mid-morning. Then we can ski through to early afternoon before taking a late lunch, helping to avoid the crowds.

My Money Saving Tips

My biggest money saving tips We pack our own lunches. We use the microwaves in the lodges to heat up sandwiches and soups if we want something hot.

On a Personal Note

Our favourite season in Whistler and why. It"s so difficult to choose. We love the winter because of the skiing. But now we can travel to Whistler all year round we have discovered that the Summers are just marvelous as well. There is so much to do, and the beautiful scenery is so relaxing

About Us

Carmen and I live in Seattle and regularly travel up to Whistler to enjoy fun in the mountains all year round.
Carmen is an avid skier, and I have switched to snowboarding for the last few years - the boots are so much comfier, and the board rocks on those powder days.
We have owned our condo since 1998 and for us it was a dream come true to have our own vacation place in Whistler.
We have spent time carefully decorating and outfitting our condo so that on our trips to Whistler we really feel that we have escaped to the perfect vacation spot. We hope that you will agree with us should you decide to spend time in our home.

Michelle & Anthony's Stay

Michelle from Toronto, Canada
Date: Feb-07-2017 for a stay in Jan 2017

The stay at Carmen and Philips condo was wonderful! The place was exactly how it appeared in the pictures, and was such a cozy and comfy atmosphere! We were very impressed with the overall ease of check-in, how stocked the kitchen was, and how many easy-to-read instructions the owners left for everything - even down to the missing 'n' and 't' in scrabble :) We absolutely loved the fireplace and the warm atmosphere it gave in the space. We felt truly at home. Our only feedback would be allowing the use of laundry (not sure if this is included in the condo, but it seemed strange there wasn't an option, especially for longer stay renters. Overall though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others and stay again if the opportunity presented itself.

I loved everything about the condo

Mark from Salinas, United States
Date: Jan-19-2017 for a stay in Jan 2017

I loved everything about the condo and my visit. Most important to me was the location so close to the gondola, but all the other aspects of the condo were unexpectedly great, too. All the interior decorations were fun, and the condo provided everything I would ever need on my vacation.

I don't know if the owners do this for every visitor, but for me, the owners had left a nice note and complimentary laundry coins for me to use at the public laundromat nearby. I thought that was a very considerate and generous gesture, and it made a great first impression on me, and it set me up to feel so welcome and happy in the condo for my whole visit from start to finish.

The unit is on the 3rd floor, so that's 3 storeys of outdoor wooden stairs. These stairs did not bother me at all, but perhaps it might become tiring for some other maybe if you bring tons of luggage with you to carry on multiple trips up and down the stairs. Again, the stairs were no problem for me, I loved everything, and I would be very happy to stay there again in the future! :)

Close to Creekside Gondola

Rachel from Vancouver, Canada
Date: Dec-14-2016 for a stay in Dec 2016

The condo is well designed, if on the small size, but well suited for two people. The condo is well equipped and makes the most of the space that they do have. The rental is genuinely within easy walking distance to the bottom of the Creekside gondola.

However, in the snow of the past weekend, the stairs up to the condo are not great for either people with mobility issues or others who may have overdone it on the mountain! In addition, parking is not plentiful. We arrived late on the Friday night and had to squeeze into the last remaining space - I can foresee that this will be an issue on other days.

It certanly lives up to its name

John from Amersham, United Kingdom
Date: Aug-28-2016 for a stay in Aug 2016

This place certainly lives up to its name and packs a lot into a small space. The kitchen facilities are modest but there are restaurants/bars etc nearby and the main village for Whistler is a few minutes drive away. "Rosies" restaurant nearby is particularly recommended. The Condo is as its pictures, fitted out in a distinctive style and is not a bland holiday rental box.

If there is a downside it is the flights of external stairs to get to the Condo. Best to travel light and certainly not a place for the less mobile. Parking was OK when we visited, but in peak skiing season I guess it could be a problem.

Awesome Condo in Creekside

Lee from Burnaby, Canada
Date: Aug-11-2016 for a stay in Aug 2016

This is a great little condo located in the heart of Creekside. The unit was well appointed and contained everything we needed for our short stay. The pride and care Carmen and Philip have for their home is evident in all the fine details, from the mini gondola adorning the the wall to the bike storage rack next to the barbeque. Way better than staying in any sterile hotel!

Perfect Condo for 2, looking for a quite retreat!

Shauna from Surrey, Canada
Date: May-24-2016 for a stay in May 2016

Very cozy quaint condo on Creekside. The condo is perfect for 2 people. Everything is mini, dishwasher, stove, but works well. Kitchen is very well stocked. There are two flights of stairs to reach the condo, so if you have problems with stairs, do not book this place.

Creekside is very quite compared to the main village, but this is why we booked creekside. There are still 2 good pubs you can walk to (Dusty's and Roland's). If you want something fancy Nita Lake Lodge has a very good restaurant and lounge. The Red Door Cafe is also amazing (but expensive). All within walking distance of the condo.

Nita lake and valley trail are only a couple of minutes away, Great place for a morning walk.

Creekside Condo Stay

Howard from Vancouver, Canada
Date: Mar-01-2016 for a stay in Feb 2016

We enjoyed our ski holiday at Cozy Creekside Condo. Creekside is the much-preferred location to the village, if you are not going to be clubbing at night but want quiet evenings and easy/quick access to the slopes. There are ample amenities at Creekside too (groceries, liquor store, restaurants).

The condo owner was excellent to communicate with and we arrived at the unit well-looked after with directions, access codes, etc. The unit is very clean and comfortable and parking was as described (close by and free!). It's a quick walk to the chair lift and we actually returned to the unit for lunch on one of our ski days, just locked our skis up at the base of the hill so as not to have to carry them back with us.

Our only critical feedback is that renters should be made well aware of the 2 flights of outdoor wooden stairs that one has to climb to reach the unit. This is challenging to do in ski boots (but doable), especially in the morning if it has snowed or turned icy overnight.

Having said that, we would be happy to rent the unit again.

Although Creekside seemed a little quiet, this unit was fantastically placed a short walk away from a gondola that goes up Whistler mountain. Supermarket was close by, as well as a variety of eateries. Unit was very clean and had cute decorations, although the stairs were a little annoying (especially with Ski boots, but it's a small price to pay).

Would definitely stay here again :)

Cozy, reasonably priced accomodation at Creekside

Sharron from Cowichan Bay, Canada
Date: Mar-04-2015 for a stay in Feb 2015

This unit was absolutely as it was described on the site- unit looked pretty much as it showed. Very cozy and comfortable with ample room for 2 people. Kitchen was very well stocked with more kitchen ' things' than places that are far pricier. Lots of glasses and plates, etc. Not always the case. Bathroom had plenty of good towels and facecloths and a small ' toiletries' basket. Anyone new to Whistler would find plenty of info/magazines/brochures handy in unit.

Location excellent - handy to amenities and unit access very easy - Owner was most accommodating and efficient - replied quickly Appreciated the free parking - for 2 cars if necessary.

We would definitely stay here again.

I would definitely recommend this place. It is adorable and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could need and there are several books with useful information about things to do in the area. I enjoyed being outside of Whistler Village, but it was nice that it was only a few minutes down the road. Our only issue was that the grill wasn't working while we were there. Not sure if it was just out of propane or if it's on the fritz, but unfortunately we didn't get to use it. Otherwise our stay was perfect and I would definitely encourage others to stay here!

Great Place

We showed up in whistler and got right into the condo with no problems. There was a parking spot available, all the codes and wireless worked perfectly. Exactly what we expected. This condo is right by the Creekside lift and we walked to the lift every morning and jumped right on and skied down to Dusty's every night and walked back. This condo is not big, but it has everything we needed. We basically slept there and were out and about otherwise enjoying the food and slopes. I would recommend this place to a couple, small family, or even two couples. The owners are professional and experienced renters that were easy to deal with.

We stayed at Carmen & Philip's cozy Condo for 10 nights over Christmas. Excellent location for access to the lifts, small village at Creekside and bus stop from Whistler Village. Well presented, clean and everything plus more that you need for a comfortable stay. It felt like staying at someone's home rather than a rental place. Although it sleeps four, just big enough for 2 adults and a teenager. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We spent a week at this condo recently and had a fab time. We had our 1 year old with us and Carmen & Philip kindly arranged for a travel cot to be installed for us. The location is fine if you have a car as it is a short drive from Whistler Village. The apartment has absolutely everything you need and is definitely cosy. Only downside was it was really warm in the unexpected 33 degree heat but this probably means it will be lovely and toasty in winter. Would definitely recommend to friends and stay again ourselves.

As advertised!

Great little place to stay, convenient walk to lifts and everything you need for skiing. The stairs are steep and can be dangerous if icy so as advertised not great for kids or people with physical difficulties. There is plenty of room for two and it would be fine with four if there were two couples who knew each other well.

Great service from booking online to arrival. Lovely, clean and homely condo in a very quiet area, but smaller than it looks in the photo's (sleeps 4 but glad there was only 2 of us) Excellent location for gondola, buses, supermarket and gym, etc. Enjoyed apres ski and happy hours at Dusty's Bar and the Creekside restaurant is a must for simple, well cooked pizza and salad. Only drag was making sure we had the right change for the bus $2.50 each way (the driver does not handle any cash) however we did discover after being there a couple of days that we could buy a sheet of tickets from the tourist information or supermarket in Whistler village which was very useful. We would be very happy to stay at the condo again.

Our Stay in Whistler - Jan 2013

My husband and I visited Whistler for the first time January 2013. We found Carmen & Philip's condo on Trip advisor based on the great reviews. We were not disappointed! The place was immaculately clean and everything in order. Throughout our initial inquiry time, Carmen was very responsive and after we booked the place, she still promptly answered all of the emails. I love the condo. It's a short walk from the gondola base and the local favorite eatery, Dusty's. We rented a car and drove into the main village which was about a 5 minute drive. The condo was fabulous! Decor was great, bed was comfortable, everything we needed was there. We are definitely going back to Whistler and when we do we will book with Carmen & Philip again. We absolutely loved this place!

Wonderful snow country getaway

Best place in Whistler is Creekside if you go skiing and not partying:-) The condo is less than 5 min from the Creekside Gondola which makes it very convenient. The condo is stylish, modern and very well designed. Absolutely loved the real wood burning fireplace and its own ski locker on the porch. Kids loved all the games/books/magazines provided. The size might be small for some (under 500 sq feet) but common for Whistler. The only think that you might want to really consider is a steep staircase leading to the condo (it tends to get snowy and slippery) and might be a bit unsafe for small kids and older adults. Didn't stop us for a second, though:-) Thank you Carmen and Philip, we will be returning!!

Nice cozy condo at Whistler

We stayed at this condo for a weekend in October and we really enjoyed staying at the condo. There are easy one step self check in and check out. Just unlock the door! From the first minute you can tell how the owners love and take care of this condo and there gusts. You have everything you need for a good vacation! Plus all the instructions for the parking, garbage removal, etc. are right on the fridge! The location is good although it is not in a village. It is exactly what it says in the owner's description. The gondola is just across the road. Moreover, if you going for spring, summer or fall season, there are nice lakes and trails around. This condo is a very good find for us for the price as well. We will recommend this condo to our friend, and will comeback again.

The condo in Whistler was cosy and very comfortable with every single thing that you could need to make your stay perfect and trouble free. We enjoyed coming back here every late afternoon after a full day exploring all the wonderful sights around Whistler. It was very easy to self cater here with every appliance and utensil you could possibly need and walking distance to the shops. It was also very quiet at night. We would recommend the condo to anyone visiting the area.

The accommodation is nice and clean. Everything was provided including collection of shampoo and soap. Can't stress enough about the importance of parking permit. We haven't even unload our car before the tow truck driver showed up. If my wife didn't stay in our car while I was taking our luggage up to the condo, he would have towed our car because we have not had time to put the parking permit in the car yet. All though our stay, we keep seeing the tow truck circling the parking lot. It should be noted that if you need to drive to Whistler Village, you can park at Lot 4 and 5 all day long free but not in Lot 1, 2 or 3 until after 5PM. I don't know if that is the case in the winter months though.

Very homely Condo in a great location with everything you could need easily to hand. If you were any closer to the Gondola you would be staying on it. The owners were very helpful too. We would rent this place again!

Photos pleasently did it justice, loved the decor. Functional kitchen and quaint living room. Very well organized for renting, with the codes and instructions etc. Nice homey feel. The only thing that would have made it better for us would have been a big jet tub and no stairs. But that's just being greedy. Very good value. Great location for walking to the gondola. Will rent again!! Thank you

Had a great stay at this lovely condo. after booking received prompt information on the condo, such as combination codes etc Very well appointed and decorated superbly, some lovely touches such as the gondola lights. Very quiet and warm, bed very comfy. great position next to creekside lifts and ameneties. Don't have a single complaint or bad word to say about our stay here. Was a real find for us and made our holiday. Thank you Carmen and Philip for letting us stay in your apartment.

My 3 children and I decided to go to Canada for vacation (we are from Hawaii) and came across the photos of the rental online. Based on the reviews and photos we knew we were going to stay here. There was absolutely nothing negative about our experience, the home was absolutely lovely the location perfect for skiing (though we didn't ski) and the area safe and friendly. The space was just enough for all of us to spend quality family time without bumping into each other or having to rent two rooms at a hotel. We have every intention of returning to Whistler to try our luck with skiing and there is no doubt that we will return to stay at Carmen and Philip's home away from home if they'll have us! Aloha!

The condo is cozy!

My boyfriend and I (both late 20's) stayed here for 3 nights over NYE with another couple. It was an economical way to see Whistler and surrounding area during peak season. The village at Christmas time is amazing with a very impressive collection of Christmas lights. A cab ride to or from the village seemed to range from $15-20, there was also a bus which seemed to run frequently. The condo is up about 3 flights of stairs, and we had a lot of luggage so it was a mission. Check in was a breeze (we were able to arrive anytime and enter with a code) and the condo had all necessary amenities such as logs for the fire, tea, cooking spices and paper towels. It was quite cozy with 2 couples there, as my boyfriend and I had to sleep in the living room on a futon. I would expect that the condo would more comfortably accommodate 2 adults (vs. 4), but we knew what we were getting into when we booked it... and how much time do you really spend indoors in whistler anyway :)

Great lodging, location, and owners.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights and were thoroughly impressed with the accommodations - clean, cozy and tastefully decorated with ski memorabilia - and it was a mere 2 minute walk away from the Creekside gondola (even with boots on!). Also, my wife forgot her iPad at the condo after we had checked out, and their cleaning lady was honest and kind enough to call the owner, who then called us, and were able to come pick it up after our last day skiing on the mountain. It's nice to know that there are people like that in this business. Highly recommended.

Met our expectations.

I like dealing with the owners. Therefore, guaranteed, excellent service. The home itself was well stocked for the 3 of us. Max 4. All the basics were there and more. We chose this location because it was as close as we can get, that was affordable, to the Gondola. With our 8yr old daughter, geared up, 5 mins max to walk to Gondola. The least thing that I liked, was the stairs to get to the home. Yeah yeah yeah, only 2 flights but still. I had to do the up and downs. Lol... all good.

Great location, very close to Creekside Gondola. Condo feels much bigger than its square footage and has all the necessary amenities and many nice touches to make it feel like a home-away-from-home. Great value! Would definitely stay again.

Condo was quite small but comfortable. Really cozy and pleasant to just relax with the family especially due to the unique decorations. Well stocked kitchen (although would have been nice to have an electric kettle), movies, games, and neat books. Loved our stay there (2 adults + 6 year old).

Great condo, with lots of great touches. The gondola lights, a fire place, well equipped. Great location for skiing! Bit of a walk in rain to Whistler but bus is $2.50 remember to have right change! Had great meal at Rim Rock and they had set price meal! The pizza at Creekbread is excellent too!

Lovely Unit!

Betty from BC

My husband and I wanted a quick out of Vancouver getaway and were more than pleased with the lovely unit we booked in Creekside. The location's drawback is that it is necessary to drive to Whistler Village (we were there for the restaurants, and the Farmers' Market/'Turkey' ski equipment sales, located in the North Village/Blackcomb area), but if you're there for skiing, the unit is very well located. The information/directions the owners provided was thorough and helpful - 'checking in' was as easy as climbing the stairs and entering the door lock code. The unit itself is small, but feels much larger because of the high ceilings and natural light from many windows. The decor is just lovely, from the carved mantelpiece to the climbing figures and ski tram lighting - the decorative touches throughout were charming. The unit is also very well supplied, with many kitchen utensils you would normally only find at home (pizza stone, a variety of corkscrews, different styles of wine glasses, etc., and much appreciated! Our only complaint in the comfort department was the double bed - my husband and I are both tall, and used to a queen-sized bed, so we found sleeping a little cramped. That said, we would gladly return and have already highly recommended this unit to friends and family.

The information received online before checking in was accurate and informative and made it easy to locate the home and gain access to the unit. We loved the home because the decor was very ?Whistler?and cosy. The home was clean and very well kept, we did not encounter any maintenance issues at all. The home equipped with everything dishwasher, hair dryer and all cleaning equipment. Location was great as the shops were a stones throw away. The thing we liked the least was the steps we had to climb up to access the unit. We stayed there in between moving house so we had a lot of luggage which was really heavy to lug up all the stairs. However,it was great that you have two parking passes! Will stay again if in Whistler in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was equipped with pretty much anything we needed or could think of. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pull-out/futon was actually the most comfortable futon we'd ever slept on!! Proximity to the lift was brilliant. The only tough bit were the very steep, icy, slippery stairs to navigate up and down. Overall, we loved it. Thank you. Oh and the price was super.

It was such a treat to find such an affordable place for 2 couples looking for a casual ski weekend in Whistler. While the place was small, it had everything we needed and it's location more than made up the difference. We could easily walk to the slopes each morning, and the ammenities allowed for us to have quiet evenings in front of the fireplace with a home-cooked meal. It is definitely an ideal location for a small family or group of friends looking to enjoy the luxury of Whistler without breaking the bank for it.
