This futon has a spring mattress - it is very comfy. There is a trunk for storing bed-linen during the day. There is also a small dresser in the hallway to store clothes etc.

Full kitchen which we have tried to equip with those extras you might not expect from a straight rental property. Remember this is our home-away from home.
House rules:
1) If you use something up in the cupboards or fridge, please replace it.
2) Never put something back in the cupboard if it is dirty! Please just leave it out for our housekeeper to take care of. We hate finding dirty surprises in the cupboards!

Our Condo is located in Whistler Creek. This was the original ski area at Whistler.
We are two minutes walk from the Creekside Gondola, ski rental, video rental, convenience store, beer/wine shop and other amenities.
There are some restaurants within a short walk (Southside Deli, Dustys, Hoz's pub/restaraunt, RimRock Cafe, Boston Pizza).
The main Whistler village is about 3km from our condo - a short drive, take the bus, or an inexpensive taxi ride. In the summer why not hike or bike into the village for lunch!
We have bike trails and parks and lakes within a few minutes walk, and all the main trails and parks are not more than a few minutes drive.

Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by the due dates will result in automatic cancellation without a deposit refund. Guests can re-book dates if they are still available, deposit will not be recharged

Reservation Changes If availability permits and in accordance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit calculated on the original amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similary non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance, then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation

Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.

Property Damage Guest will pay for all damage incurred while the guest is staying in the property, even if the offender is being hosted by the guest. By accepting our guest stay contract, you agree to pay us for all damages you incur

Guarantees Policies

Snow Guarantee If over 65% of the lifts are closed all day due to rain or inadequate/unsafe snow & weather conditions, We will give you a 50% refund/night for each day that the lifts remain closed. Valid February 18th-March 31

Best place for breakfast/brunch The Southside Deli at junction of Hwy 99 and Lake Placid road. Long regarded as a locals haunt for great breakfasts.
Uniquely Canadian Foods to enjoy We usually stop for a Beaver-Tail mid-morning. Then we can ski through to early afternoon before taking a late lunch, helping to avoid the crowds.

My Money Saving Tips

My biggest money saving tips We pack our own lunches. We use the microwaves in the lodges to heat up sandwiches and soups if we want something hot.

On a Personal Note

Our favourite season in Whistler and why. It&quot;s so difficult to choose. We love the winter because of the skiing. But now we can travel to Whistler all year round we have discovered that the Summers are just marvelous as well. There is so much to do, and the beautiful scenery is so relaxing

About Us

Carmen and I live in Seattle and regularly travel up to Whistler to enjoy fun in the mountains all year round.
Carmen is an avid skier, and I have switched to snowboarding for the last few years - the boots are so much comfier, and the board rocks on those powder days.
We have owned our condo since 1998 and for us it was a dream come true to have our own vacation place in Whistler.
We have spent time carefully decorating and outfitting our condo so that on our trips to Whistler we really feel that we have escaped to the perfect vacation spot.  We hope that you will agree with us should you decide to spend time in our home.

I would definitely recommend this place. It is adorable and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could need and there are several books with useful information about things to do in the area. I enjoyed being outside of Whistler Village, but it was nice that it was only a few minutes down the road. Our only issue was that the grill wasn't working while we were there. Not sure if it was just out of propane or if it's on the fritz, but unfortunately we didn't get to use it. Otherwise our stay was perfect and I would definitely encourage others to stay here!

Photos pleasently did it justice, loved the decor. Functional kitchen and quaint living room. Very well organized for renting, with the codes and instructions etc. Nice homey feel. The only thing that would have made it better for us would have been a big jet tub and no stairs. But that's just being greedy. Very good value. Great location for walking to the gondola. Will rent again!! Thank you

My 3 children and I decided to go to Canada for vacation (we are from Hawaii) and came across the photos of the rental online. Based on the reviews and photos we knew we were going to stay here. There was absolutely nothing negative about our experience, the home was absolutely lovely the location perfect for skiing (though we didn't ski) and the area safe and friendly. The space was just enough for all of us to spend quality family time without bumping into each other or having to rent two rooms at a hotel. We have every intention of returning to Whistler to try our luck with skiing and there is no doubt that we will return to stay at Carmen and Philip's home away from home if they'll have us! Aloha!

I like dealing with the owners. Therefore, guaranteed, excellent service. The home itself was well stocked for the 3 of us. Max 4. All the basics were there and more. We chose this location because it was as close as we can get, that was affordable, to the Gondola. With our 8yr old daughter, geared up, 5 mins max to walk to Gondola. The least thing that I liked, was the stairs to get to the home. Yeah yeah yeah, only 2 flights but still. I had to do the up and downs. Lol... all good.
