Thank you for your interest in our Glacier's Reach townhome. We have owned this property since it was completed in 1997, and have been happy with it ever since. Glacier's Reach has been our home-away-from-home, and we hope it can be yours too.
Our unit has all the comforts of a vacation home: fully equipped kitchen, complimentary internet, in-suite washer and dryer, secured parking, and outdoor pool and hot tub. The Glaciers Reach complex is fantastically located -- close enough to be within walking distance of the main village yet far enough away from the noise of restaurants and night clubs to get a good night's sleep. It's proximity to mountain amenities, biking trails, marketplace, and next door tennis club makes this cozy townhome an ideal Whistler home base.
During the spring and summer of 2015, the Glaciers Reach complex will be undergoing a full complex paint-job. We thank you for your patience with the maintenance crews.

Glacier's Reach is located next to the Whistler Racquet and Golf Club, and directly across the street from the Village Marketplace. Our townhome is an excellent choice for people who wish to be within walking distance to Whistler's many acclaimed attractions, yet far enough away from pubs, nightclubs, and patio restaurants to enjoy a good night's sleep.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies
|Cancellations Made by Guests||For bookings cancelled up to 60 days prior to the check in date, a 95% refund will be given. The remaining 5% will be withheld to cover processing fees. For bookings cancelled up to 30 days prior to check in, a 50% refund will be given. No refunds will be given for bookings cancelled with less than 30 days prior to check-in. If, however, a new booking can be made to replace a cancelled booking (for full or partial dates), an adjusted refund amount will be issued based on the number of nights rebooked, the rebooked rate, and 5% processing fee.|

On a Personal Note
|Our favourite season in Whistler and why.||Whistler is already reknown for winter skiing and snowboarding, but few people realize what a hidden jewel Whistler is in the summertime. We enjoy visiting Whistler particularly in the late summer, when it"s hot and sunny. Nothing beats swimming in the pool amidst a quiet surrounding with beautiful mountain views.|
|What makes Whistler so special and unique?||The drive up is fantastic, the resort has great year-round activities, and the fresh mountain air really lifts one"s spirit -- pure Canadiana!|

Checking-In / Checking-Out
|How do I get the check-in information?||When we receive your final payment, we will e-mail you a check-in package that includes directions, the Glacier's Reach suite number, entry code, emergency contact numbers, check-out procedures, and other useful bits of information.|
|What if I leave my check-in package at home by mistake?||Make sure you have our emergency contact telephone numbers available in your wallet or purse so that you may call us enroute or when you reach the Whistler resort. The most important pieces of information can be relayed to you by telephone.|
|How do I check-in?||Proceed directly to our Glacier's Reach townhome, and use your security code for entry. You do not need to pick up any keys, nor do you need to check-in with someone at a reception desk.|
|Can I check-in early or check-out late?||Our check-in time is 4:00pm, and our check-out time is 11:00am. If this is inconvenient for you, please contact us a few days before you arrive. If there is no one staying in the unit immediately before you, or arriving on the same day of your departure, we may be able to arrange more flexible check-in / check-out times (depending on our arrangement with the housekeeping staff).|
|May I leave my belongings there when I arrive even if it has not been cleaned yet?||Yes, as long as the previous guests have already left (do not attempt to enter before 12:00pm), and you leave everything in the entry hall with a note for our cleaners. KNOCK ON THE DOOR IF YOU ARE ARRIVING BEFORE 4:00 PM!|
|Do I have to pay more for an early check-in or late check-out?||No.|
|What happens if we are not ready to leave at 11:00am and the cleaners show up?||It is important that you check-out by 11:00am, to allow sufficient time for the housekeeping staff to prepare the unit for the next guests. Unless you have confirmed a late check-out time with us, please respect this policy as we do not wish to invoke harsh enforcement measures.|
|What if the property is not cleaned when we get there?||If it is after 4:00pm, contact us, and we will arrange for immediate housekeeping. If housekeeping staff are unable to arrive on that day, there is a complete set of clean linens in the unit, and the unit will be properly cleaned first thing the next morning. Needless to say, we will do our best to compensate you for the mistake.|
Terrence and I have have owned this Glacier's Reach townhome since it was completed in 1997. With two boys, Aidan and Connal, our main desire was to have a nearby vacation getaway where we could enjoy life away from the big city and where special family memories could be created. Our family currently resides in Richmond, British Columbia.
Conveniently located and Reasonably Priced

We enjoyed our stay in this conveniently located townhome. The fact that this was less than 3 minutes from the Olympic Plaza made our stay even better especially during the weekend of the Whistler Children's Festival. Need to buy dinner? Why, not a problem! Simply cross the street and you're at the Market Place! Rowdies in the evening? Not a problem because this townhome is not in the main drag of the village stroll - perfect for tired kids who had a long day of activities.
The owners were also very communicative and accommodating - earlier check in and later check out were great especially if you have a young family.
The price was also very reasonable. Given its location and amenities, the price of this townhome per night will compete with any of the newer condo-hotels located in Creekside or the Village. Sure, it doesn't have the bells and whistles of the newer buildings but the amenities of the complex and the convenience of a having a full kitchen and a separate living room and bedroom, will beat the smaller studio hotels/condo available at its price range.
This a split level townhome and the "mudroom" area is expectedly small so our cumbersome stroller needed to be folded before we can leave it inside.

Great location to Whistler village

This 1 bedroom condo is in a great location right across from the Whistler Marketplace. Super convenient to the Village stroll, grocery store, coffee shops etc. Pool area at this complex is pretty small considering how many units there are here. Condo is cozy and perfect for two adults or small family. For really young ones please note there is no dining table, just the high breakfast bar eating area with stools that spin. Also, there are a lot of stairs in the unit...potentially problematic for little ones or those with mobility issues. Kitchen had pretty basic amenities...for example no plastic wrap, just salt, pepper and oil. Couldn't find any sugar either. But there was a blender!

Great Value & Location

We had two stays in the unit in July. Both were great. The location is ideal close to the village, trails and Marketplace. The kitchen is really well stocked and there is plenty of bedding and linens. Note that this is a 3 story unit so there are lots of stairs so to keep in mind if you have bikes and baby strollers (like we did). We made do but it's definitely a tight squeeze bringing larger items up the stairs (the lower level entry way is very small and leads immediately up the stairs. A couple of recommendations I would make to the owner would be to (1) get the screen doors looked at (they are somewhat off the rails especially downstairs) and (2) consider some better patio furniture (especially upstairs on the large balcony as this could make a great space more inviting). Our concern before renting based on other reviews was regarding noise from other units, but this wasn't an issue during our stays.
