The Aspens sits in an outstanding slope-side location, with true ski in-ski out access. Stroll out of the unit, pick up your Ski's from the complimentary ski storage, click on your skis and off you go, ski 100 meters to the Wizard express or Magic chairlifts. You are then able to access the whole ski area of both Blackcomb and Whistler Mountains.
The property can accommodate up to 4 guests, featuring a bedroom with 1 kingsize bed and a queen sofa bed in the living area
Our unit has been rennovated this year with new granite kitchen and bathroom tops and tiling. New carpets, appliances, decorations, and flat screen TV's.
There is a 36inch adjustable wall mounted flatscreen HD TV in the bedroom and a 46 inch wall mounted HD TV in the living area. In addition there is a blu ray/dvd player and stereo with ipod connector. The unit has free wireless internet access and free telephone calls for both long and short distance.
The unit aslso features a fully equipped kitchen , dining area and a gas fireplace. Your family can also enjoy the year-round heated pool, 3 hot tubs which sit on the edge of the piste. There is also an exercise room and laundry facilities.
Ski school is also located 100meters away at blackcomb base.
We also provide a complimentary local CONCIERGE who will be happy to arrange lift tickets, ski hire, ski school, other activities, restaurants, grocery delivery etc before or during your stay.

Location & Map
The Aspens sits next to the Lower Cruiser Piste at the base of Blackcomb mountain. Ski down to the Wizard chairlift which takes you up Blackcomb mountain or alternatively you can ski from the top of the wizard or magic chairs over to Whistler mountain.
A free shuttle bus service into whistler village stops 100 m from the Aspens entrance or whistler village can be reached with a 10 min scenic walk.
There are several restaurants / bars and some shopping at blackcomb base including at the Chateau Whistler which sits next door to the Aspens.

We are a family who have used our unit for many years. Our children learned to ski here from when they were 3-4 years old and are all now very good skiers thanks to Whistler kids ski school
We spotted the Aspens when on honeymoon in 1997 and came back to buy our unit in the Aspens due to its unique ski in ski out position on Blackcomb mountain. It is also ideal for families or those who may not wish to eat out every night. The hot tubs are in an exceptional setting right next to the piste

My family loves the location of the Aspens. The pool and hot tubs are large so it doesn't feel crowded, free village shuttle makes it easy to get home from village if people are tired and it is close to activity without having the noise of the village.
It was hot while we were there so the air conditioning was really needed. My kids slept on the sofa bed and said it was comfortable.
The room does face the driveway but as we were busy outside we weren't wanting to sit on the balcony and lounge but if a view is important to you, then you may want a different location in the building.. Definitely worth the cost, we wouldn't hesitate to stay there againView Full Review

We always choose the Aspens for our visits to Whistler due its proximity to the Village and because it has a pool. The unit was clean, tidy and has very comfortable beds, even the pull out couch was great! The kitchen was well stocked but could just use a better knife for chopping as well as a bigger ice cube tray. Unfortunately the air conditioning was not installed for our stay, however Brendan apologized and provided us with a discount.
The ONLY down side about this unit is that it is directly above the drop off zone for those checking in, or collecting friends, therefore it was too noisy for us. However, as long as you keep the windows and door closed it will muffle the street noise.

The space was neat and up to date with decor. We liked the granite counter tops and back splash in the kitchen. The only complaint was the bed. It needs to be replaced. After skiing all day, soaking in the jacuzzi, I felt the bed quality (mattress) was terrible. I would wake up with back spasms. Visually it looks appealing but sleeping on it is another story.
Overall, I still rate this rental space high. Furniture in the living room was good and the flat screen TV worked well. We've stayed in several rental properties in Whistler, and the owners would provide extras like glove warmers and spices to cook with.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The only thing not communicated was that there was no air conditioning, only fans. Also, that there is only paid parking for $15.00 per day, unless you are really lucky to find a spot on the road. Otherwise, the area was great, quieter than in the village, very family friendly, and staff very helpful. Definitely would stay here again.

This is a great unit in a great location. Everything was very clean, well maintained and convenient. We were with friends who stayed at the Sundial in Whistler Village - their accommodations were *marginally* newer but essentially the same and cost them much more. We definitely scored the better value.
The Blackcomb side is quieter than the Whistler side, and that's exactly what we wanted. The short walk over to Whistler Village takes you along a gravel path and over a covered bridge. It's super easy and charming (even in the rain).
Brendan was very responsive and answered all our questions. The only thing lacking was a corkscrew in the kitchen. Good thing we found some decent wines with screw tops!View Full Review
