Aloha! Welcome to Island Surf. Our condo is located directly across the street from the ocean as well as Kihei's largest surfing/stand-up paddle school and rental facility. So convenient! It is within a few minutes' walk to numerous restaurants, vibrant pubs, and shops including the Foodland grocery store. At the municipal beach park, which is just steps north of the complex, visitors can play tennis, beach volley ball, or just stroll along the paved pathway along the waterfront and watch the sunset. One of our favorite activities at the park is to pack a couple of snacks and our favorite beverages and watch some of the most spectacular sunsets!

It is a spacious two bedroom, two bath condo, well furnished and remodeled in late 2013 in Hawaiian decor. It has granite counters and is nicely tiled throughout with wide, partial ocean views from the lanai and the living room. Both bedroms have king size beds. The kitchen is well-outted for a comfortable meal at the glass dining table or the breakfast bar. Kitchen appliances include washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, crock pot, toaster, and blender. The living room has an air conditioner, ceilng fans throughout, a 47" HDTV, DVD player and complimentary high speed wireless. Additionally, we have free unlimited long distance telephone service throughout the US and Canada.
Come to Kihei, Maui any time of the year and enjoy what Maui has to offer - world class beaches, surfing, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, golfing, tennis, beach volleyball, fishing, fine dining, pubbing, or just relaxing at the beaches, to include the ones across the street or on the lanai and watch the sparking ocean.

Our rates are very competitive, and our multiple rates vary with number of nights of stay, which reflect significant discounts for longer stays. As we are private owners, we do not charge additional hotel or resort taxes. All costs are accurately reflected in the posted rates below, except the 4.17% Hawaii General Excise tax and 9.25% Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax. Please refer to individual rate categories and their descriptions. We do require one time cleaning charge of $145 to be paid separately.

Our third floor, two bedroom unit in the Island Surf is acessed by elevator or stairwell. Upon entering the condo the well lit bedrooms are to your left and right. The master bedroom, to the left, has a king bed and private bathroom. The second bedroom, on right, has King bed which can be converted to two twin beds upon request. The second bathroom is just past the second bedroom. Further into the unit, there is a storage closet with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, float noodles, boogie boards, beach towels and beach mats, all you need for beach, sand and surf. The full service kitchen is also to your right. The remainder of the unit is the living area with sleeper sofa, dining area and cable television with DVD player.
There also is a large lanai/balcony with comfortable seating overlooking the Cove and Kalama parks, the beach, and the Pacific Ocean, with Molokai and Molokini Islands to the southwest and Haleakala National Park to the southeast.
Both bedrooms have comfortable beds and full sets of linens. They have overhead lighting and ceiling fans. There are additional floor fans in each room for your comfort. Both rooms also have night tables with lamps and full size closets with mirror doors for clothes and luggage storage.

Our small but utilitarian kitchen is well appointed to meet your cooking needs. It has a 16 cu ft refridgerator with freezer anda four burner electric stove with oven.
The appliances include a 12 cup coffee pot(we provide initial coffe and tea), a blender, 4 slice wide toaster, and a microwave over the stove. The dish and utensil sevice is for 6. there are pots and pans, as well as serving and storge bowls for your convenience. We will provide initial supplies of dish detergent and soap for the dishwasher. Additionally, the clothes washer and dryer are also in kitchen and we provide detergent and dryer sheets though long term guests may need to purchase additional supplies for their use. Paper towels, napkins, foil and wrap are available for use but again, long term guests may need to resupply for their use.
The granite counter top and breakfast bar are great for food prep and presentation.

The spacious living room with a view to the sparkling Pacific Ocean has a comfortable sitting area with couch, end tables and seperate chair with tropical flair. The 47" cable TV with DVD player is easily viewsed and heard. The overhead two speed ceiling fan and light add to easy, comfortable vacation living.
We have a beautiful glass round dining table and four chairs in Hawaiian decor. We have two extra chairs to accomodate up to 6 guests' dining experience.
Probably the best special feature of our unit is the location, location, location. It is across the street from the biggest park in Kehei, Kalama Park, with all a city park has to offer to include beaches, paved walking paths, excellant location to watch sunsets and relax while people watching, surfing, paddle boarding, volleyball, basketball, tennis, roller skate park and baseball fields. Our unit is also centrally located to walk to numerous restaurants, pubs, bars, shops and food stores. It is on the bus line if you do not want to drive. Kamole Beaches I, II, and III are a short walk to the south. There numerous restaurants, shops and bars in the area also.
So come on down and enjoy the quiet of our beaches or the vibrant life in the shopping area and restaurants.

This two bedroom unit has many amenities to make your stay very enjoyable and comfortable. The two bedrooms and living room have adjustable ceiling fans. There is an a/c unit in the living area. We have a full size washer and dryer for our guests' convenience. The fully equipped kitchen has service for 6, plates/utensils as well as a complete range of serving/storage bowls, pots and pans, toaster, microwave, coffe pot, and blender. The digital phone has free access to the mainland, Canada and local numbers. Free cable TV on 47" screen as well as a DVC player with a small DVD library. The two bathrooms have full size bath and showers as well as hair dryers in each bathroom cabinet. There are beach chairs, unbrellas, towels, mats, boogie boards, coolers and floats in the guest storage closet. There is free wireless internet which we will provide access codes for.
We think the best feature of the unit is to sit on the balcony/lanai in the morning, have a cup of coffee or tea, watch the ocean, surfers, paddlle boarders and enjoy life in the islands.

We have sufficient parking stalls to accommodate all the guests and residents. Parking is generally not a problem. If renting a car you must register it with the building manager. There are forms available outside his office on the first floor just past the elevators.|
|Pool||In addition to the fabulous beaches nearby, we have a small, inclosed pool for our guests located on the second floor. It is secured by a locked door which we provide a key to. Replaceing the key is very expensive. The ccondo association charges $200, so please do not lose or misplace it.|
Island Surf is centrally located in the Kehei area of Maui, close to beaches and parks(across the street), shopping, restaurants, and bars. Within the building itself are two small restaurants, a dive shop and across the street is headquarters for MWR one of Maui's largest surf and paddlle board rental and instruction facilities. The Kalama Park also across the street, has walking paths, picnic areas, volleyball, horseshoe pits, baseball/soccer fields, basketball courts, skate board park and 6 tennis courts.

We do charge a damage deposit at time of booking. We require a FULLY refundable damage deposit US$350 be remitted by personal check or money order directly to owner ny mail prior to arrival or payment on line. Further, by booking with us, you grant us authority to charge your credit card up to US$750 for damaging/missing proprty or late departure without prior coordination.

|Cancellations Made by Guests||Deposit payment is non-refundable. Balance payment is refundable, less 4% credit card transaction fee, if booking is canceled 60 days or greater in advance. Reservation cancelled 59 days or less in advance are refunded only if we place our booking.|

Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site|
|Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal||The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. These guest stay policies are provided to ensure your stay is as enjoyable and trouble free as possible. It is a large condominium with many guests and owners. |BBQ Not Permitted||BBQ not permitted on lanai. Two propane grills are located in the pool area on second floor. Please clean grill after use for next guest.|
|Check-In Time||4PM. Earlier check in may be possible- please coordinate with owner prior to arrival.|
|Check-Out Time||10AM. Later checkout may sometimes be approved, depending on follow on guest arrival. You will be charged $35 if you are still in unit without prior approval, when cleaners arrive,|
|Complaints Concerning Property||Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Cleaning Costs||Tenants action, excessive garbage/debris/recycle material, unsanitary activities could result in additional cleaning charges. The additional cleaning fee will be borne by the rental guest and may be deducted from the damage deposit. After owner representative or cleaner verify requirement, guest will be notified of extra cost and fee will be deducted or charge made to credit card.|
|Excessive Noise||Excessive noise will not be tolerated in resort. Quiet times in Island Surf are posted from 9PM-8AM.|
|Forgotten Items by Guest||The cleaning team surveys unit after each guest departure. If you are missing an item please contact us ASAP. If item is located and renter requests return, all shipping and handling expenses will be charged to guest.|
|Garbage Removal||All renters are requested to remove excess trash prior to departure. Please take garbage and recycle material to garbage chutes located on each floor just past elevators. Room is open 8 AM-8PM. Island Surf recycles glass, cans and containers bins are in garbage room.|
|Housekeeping||Unit is cleaned prior to guests arrival. Additional cleaning may be requested by guests for additional charge. Rates can be provided on request.|
|Internet Availability & Usage||Free WIFI wireless inter net is provided|
|Liability||We are excluded from liability for personal injury in our home, in transit, or on resort property.|
|Locking Door||The front and patio/lanai doors must be manually locked. The front has a deadbolt and door lock. The same key locks/unlocks both. The front security screen door also has a deadbolt utilizing this same key.|
|Maintenance Emergencies||There is an on island emergency contact person which is posted in unit and will also be provided in welcome email.|

|Missing Items||Cleaning team conducts inventory after guest departure. If items of value are determined to be missing from unit renter will be charged from damage deposit or charge to credit card.|
