This townhouse is kitty corner, and only a 2 minute walk, from the Whistler Mountain Creekside Gondola. Creekside Gondola Base has full WhistlerBlackcomb Guest Services, including lift tickets; rentals; ski school; Whistler Kids programmes; and shops and restaurants.

It is a 10 minute drive to cross country skiing in the Callaghan Valley and to snowmobile country.

Beautiful living area with a mountain cabin ambience. The open living area of this townhouse includes the living room, dining room and kitchen. High vaulted ceilings, lots of windows, and patio doors onto the balcony make this a bright, inviting space to spend time with friends and family after a day outside.
Seating at the table for 8.
Bright, fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with adequate dishes and equipment for large groups.
Lovely master bedroom with queen bed, TV, large closet and ensuite bathroom.
The second bedroom on the third level. This bedroom has 2 single beds and a closet.
The third bedroom on the third floor. The bedroom has 1 bunk bed (1 up and 1 down) and 1 single bed, for a total of 3 single beds. This room has a closet.
The main bath beside the living area. The ensuite bathroom is exactly the same.
Large foyer with lots of space for skis, boards, boots and bikes.
The hot tub is open 1pm to 10pm in winter and 10am to 10pm in summer.
The pool is open 1pm to 10pm in winter and 10am to 10pm in summer. The Coach House town homes are in the building behind the pool.
Bike and ski storage room beside the front door. There is also room for ski storage in the foyer on the lower level of the townhouse.
Lake Placid Lodge is located across the street from the Whistler Creek gondola.

Creekside has undergone a tremendous redevelopment over the last several years, and is now a smaller, quieter village in its own right. Lake Placid Lodge is across the street from the Creekside Gondola and Creekside Base.

Alpine Skiing/ Boarding
The Creekside Gondola up Whistler Mountain is across the street. Whistler Ski School, Whistler Kids programmes, and rentals and lift tickets are across the street at Creekside Base.

To ski Whistler Mtn, take the Creekside Gondola up, then continue up Red chair. To ski Blackcomb Mtn, from the top of Red Chair take the Peak2Peak Gondola; or take the Creekside Gondola & from top of gondola ski into Whistler Village; or download on the Whistler Gondola, then take Excalibur Gondola up Blackcomb.

Nordic Cross Country Skiing

Lake Placid Lodge is a 10 minute drive from Whistler Olympic Park and the Callaghan Valley, the venue for Olympic 2010 Nordic ski events. Zoom out to locate Whistler Olympic Park on the map below.

Snowmobiling and Sledding

Creekside is the closed area in Whistler to back country sledding.

 

A grocery store, liquor store, bank, Starbucks and restaurants are across the street. Great location for large family groups and safe for older children walking around the shops.

The drive to Whistler Village takes about 10-15 minutes, with free parking in the skier day parking lots 3 to 5. There is a local transit bus into the Village.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Policy Description
Cancellations Made by Guests All deposits are non-refundable. There is no refund if your arrival is delayed at the last minute. All refunds are made by personal cheque. Balance Refund Nov 1- Apr 31: Balance is non refundable except if reservation is replaced. Refund equals value of reservation with which the cancelled booking is replaced minus 4% cancellation fee. Balance Refund May 1- Oct 31: The balance is refunded minus 4% cancellation fee with minimum notice of 24 hours.
Delayed Arrivals No refund.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Emailed when balance paid.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservation Changes You may lengthen your stay at no charge. Shortening your stay is considered a partial cancellation and subject to cancellation policy above. To change dates, but total nights remain the same: before balance paid, no charge. After balance paid: Winter: fee is $100 Summer: no charge.

Guest Stay Policies

Check-In Time 4 pm. Please request early check-in in advance.
Check-Out Time 10 am. Please request late check out in advance.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs If cleaning required is more than the normal 6 hours, excess costs will be charged to the guest. Including but not limited to any cleaning needed by restoration services, a plumber, stains, odor, smoking in the unit, or cooking. Any extra cleaning costs to restore the townhouse to the same condition as it was upon check in.
Excessive Noise Will not be tolerated out of courtesy to neighbours. If excessive noise is reported, after one warning the guest will be asked to leave without reimbursement.
Forgotten Items by Guest There is a $15 charge for returning forgotten items to guests. Guests are responsible for all mailing costs for forgotten items.
Housekeeping Complimentary. For reservations of 7 nights or more, full linen change and bathrooms cleaned about every fifth day during your stay. The kitchen is to be maintained by the guest.

Excellent Whistler condo

We've been going to Whsitler for about 10 years, staying in a different condo each time. Lake Placid Lodge was defintely the best: very well-equipped, less than 5 minutes from the Creekside gondola, well laid out and comfortable. We were particuarly pleased that the check-out time was extended to noon, alowing us another morning's skiing on a powder day!

Cosey and close to the slopes

The ease of getting to the slopes is a great advantage for the location. Creekside is not as crowded as the main campus which can be a plus if you are looking for a quietier experience. The walls are a little thin because we could hear the music from the neighbors at times, but normally would cease before bedtime. The townhouse is ample enough for a group. Hot tub and pool just around the corner.
