Property Description

Our condo displays an open-concept layout, with cathedral-style ceilings above the living area. The balcony, can be accessed from the main living area, with views of trees, the celebration plaza, and Blackcomb Mountain. The main floor has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom, which has a soaker tub/shower combination. The second bathroom features a large shower with two shower heads. It can be accessed from two directions: one door from the main living area, and the other door directly from the second bedroom, which has two twin beds. The loft area has a window overlooking the celebration plaza, and overlooks the main living area. It has a double/twin bunk bed.

Our condo features two enclosed bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom, and the second with two twin beds and direct access to the second bathroom. The loft (on the second floor) has a bouble/twin bunk bed.

Living Area

The open-concept living area presents two great features: a stone-lined fireplace, and cathedral ceilings. A leather sofa, leather armchair and ottoman, as well as a second armchair, surround the gas fireplace. Blackcomb Mountain can be observed from the living room. A flat screen TV, with cable, is set up. Access to the balcony is from the living area.

Our 2 bedroom+loft condo has a fully equipped kitchen, including coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, and all basic instruments required for cooking (pots and pans, utensils, bottle opener, spices etc). Washer/dryer are found in the condo. A soaker bath is in the master bathroom, and a large 2-head shower is found in the second bathroom. The unit also has a gas fireplace, as well as a balcony overlooking the Celebration Plaza and the children's playground. Wi-Fi and cable are included. The unit includes one private parking space, and 3 more parking spaces are shared: they can be used if available.

The building has an elevator, a pool and a hot tub. A shared secure locker is available in the parkade of the building, for bikes, skis and boards.

Our condo is located at the end of the village stroll, accross from the Olympic Plaza, and overlooks the children's playground. It is just above coffee shops and restaurants, and steps from the grocery store, liquor store and pharmacy. A short walk on the village stroll takes you to the ski lifts for Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains (~10 minutes), or a free shuttle bus is available to take you to the lifts.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All cancellations are subject to a a 4% cancellation fee to cover the credit card processing fee of the deposit and/or full payment. A 10% cancellation fee applies if cancelled 30 - 90 days prior to visit. Within 30 days 25% will be retained, and within 5 days, 90% will be retained. If the cancelled dates are rebooked by another party, your payments less 10% will be refunded.
Delayed Arrivals Refunds will not be issued for delayed arrivals that have nothing to do with the condition or availability of the townhouse.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Will be emailed upon reception of full payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses

Guest Stay Policies

Check-In Time 4:00 pm. If you need to check in early, please let us know and we'll try to arrange it. We do need time to have the condo cleaned after departure of the previous guests. No early check in is possible if guests are departing the same day you arrive.
Check-Out Time 11:00 am. If you need to discuss late checkout, please let us know, however, we need to have the cleaning service in before the next guests arrive.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Out of respect for families and other guests, keep noise to a reasonable level between 10pm and 8am.
Housekeeping Complimentary cleaning service immediately at the end of your stay, including linens, bathrooms, kitchen, etc. (please clean and put away your dishes)
Liability The owners of unit 303 Tyndall Stone Lodge are not liable for injuries or damage that occurs to persons while staying in the condo.
Maintenance Emergencies
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 7. No more than 7 people allowed per night.
Missing Items A $50 replacement charge will be levied for lost keys. Guests will be charged replacement costs for other missing items.
Noise Restrictions Whistler village has a noice by law which needs to be observed between 10pm and 8am. If security is called as a result of noice in the suite there is a $200 municipal fine which will be charged back to you.
Parking & Ticketing A gated, reserved parking spot is provided - marked 'Unit 303'. If someone else parks in the stall the company to call is Whistler Towing: 604-938-1066.
Property Damage Guests are required to report damage that occured during their stay and are liable for replacement costs on missing or damaged property. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints/charges, lost, broken or missing common or private property items, smoking and pets inside the property, and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises. By accepting a reservation at Tyndall Stone Lodge #303, guests authorize credit card charges up to C$500 upon departure to cover any damage caused during their stay.
Rental Accommodation Zoning We are zoned for nightly rentals.
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Skis and boards are not permitted in the unit. Storage is available in the underground parking.
Terms of Eviction We reserve the right to evict guests for noise and damage-related reasons. No refund will be given to guests who were evicted due to noise or damage.

Our family just acquired this condo in Whistler (summer 2012). We are very much looking forward to all the outdoor activities that Whistler has to offer, in winter and summer. We were both brought up skiing and close to nature, and we are pleased that our children will experience the same.

Cozy apartment and excellent location!

We had a great time in Whistler and the apartment was a highlight. Everything was clean, organized and worked well.The location is perfect, near everything you need: grocery store, liquor store, cafeterias, restaurants, pharmacy and hospital. In addition to easy access to the Whistler lifts, it also has other options around such as cross-country ski, bike trails, playground, ice rink and events in the whistler village. You don't need to use your car.

The apartment has everything you need and is super cozy, comfortable and versatile. We stayed with two families and it fit well. All the appliances worked very well, the toaster is brand new and they have good sets of glasses and wine glasses. The in-suite laundry is very convenient. The hot tub and swimming pool in the building are great, kids love it!

The owners are very caring, proactive, accessible and sympathetic. We will go to this apartment again for sure.

Not too big.. Not too small... Just right...

I booked the Condo for 10 days in August. I found the condo very clean and very comfortable. Fully furnished with nice furniture and décor -- exactly as shown in the pictures. Fast WIFI. The unit has a balcony that overlooks the Whistler main stage so you have a great view if there is an event happening. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two doubles and there is a loft upstairs. Two separate bathrooms makes getting ready in the morning with multiple people. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you might need. I think some items in the kitchen were left over from previous guests so some things may not match -- but that is a good thing in that there is a good chance there is a utensil for just about everything. Washer and dryer in the unit is very very convenient. The loft is perfect for children but can be used for adults as well. The unit will easily sleep 6 separately or more depending on if there are couples that share a bed. :) It's a great room, great location in the village with a great view. I personally will stay there again the next time I go to Whistler.

Good location, practically next door to the grocery & liquor stores. The unit & building itself are tired looking. The foyer to access the elevator from the village walk is sad looking with elevator needing a facelift. It was not working on one of the days during our stay. When you exit the elevator on the third floor. The first thing you notice is the grimy looking carpets on the hallway. The unit itself is very small, while advertised as suitable for 7 persons, it's crowded with 7. Rooms are tiny, dining & living areas are cramped. Kitchen amenities are not what you would expect for a $3000/week condo. Toaster needs replacing, not all elements work, wine glasses & water glasses are not a set. There's a bit of everything. Initial supply of soap, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent and garbage bags is minimal, you might get through 3 or 4 days. There were however, plenty of towels. The unit is tired looking, it needs updating if you expect to get repeat customers for the rate you are charging.
