Property Description

Our Townhome Entrance is Private and at Street Level. The Front Entryway has a Large Closet, and a Door leading to the Private Garage. From the Entry, a Hallway leads (past a Bathroom and Laundry Closet) to the large Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen. This Living Area has floor to ceiling Windows and a Sliding Door leading out to the Patio and Hot Tub. The view is of both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. From the Living Room, with large Fireplace and Vaulted Ceiling, stairs lead up to the 3 Bedrooms and 2 more Bathrooms. The Master Bedroom has views of Whistler/Blackcomb. The 2nd and 3rd , Bedrooms have views up the valley and the Coastal Range and the 3rd Bedroom has a private deck. The Master Bedroom has a Private ensuite Bathroom. The 2nd Bedroom has an ensuite Bathroom with double entry shared with the 3rd Bedroom.

Whistler Village North. Our home is located just steps to the Shops, Restaurants, MarketPlace, Valley Trail and Alpine Lifts! It is quiet, peaceful and REALLY CONVENIENT! We are a few minutes' walk to all the Village amenities and the free Village Shuttle Bus. The Valley trail is just across the street. Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation your deposit calculated on the original amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance, it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests authorize a credit card charge up to $200 CDN in the case of excessive cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise Eviction without a refund.
Housekeeping Complimentary before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping is available for extended stays. Mistakes happen! If for some reason there has been an housekeeping error and the property is not ready upon your arrival at 4 pm PST, we will refund your first night. The property will be promptly cleaned the next day if we are unable to get it cleaned the same day. In the event of a housekeeping emergency, there is a complete set of clean linens accessible within the property.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are staying on our property or at any other location in the Whistler Resort area.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 / 7. Complete Emergency contacts provided in the Townhome Information Folder.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 10. Maximum 8 adults + 2 children. Eviction if more than 10 overnight adult occupants.
Missing Items Guests authorize a Credit Card charge for missing items as per our stated damage deposit policies.

Guarantees Policies

If any amenity changes after you have confirmed your booking with payment, we will notify you in advance and give you the opportunity to cancel with a full refund.
Reservation Guarantee Property Sales / Damage - We relocate you to a comparable property. If there are any rate increases associated with the move, we will contribute up to $100 CDN per night towards rate equalization. If we fail to successfully relocate you, you will receive a full refund. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.

Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Check-in Information.

How do I get check-in information? When we receive confirmation that your balance of payment has cleared, we will send you all the details you need to traval, locate, arrive and gain entry to our home.

Checking In

How do I check in? 5-7 days prior to arrival we will forward the code to our electronic door lock. You simply arrive, use the code given to you and walk in the front door. It's that easy!
What is check-in time? Check-in time is 4:00pm.
Can I check in early? We try to accommodate early check-ins. Please contact us at least 7 days prior to arrival with your request. It all depends on whether we are able to ensure that the house has been cleaned following the check-out of the previous guest.
Will it cost me more to check-in early? No.
Is it a problem if I arrive very late at night? Not at all. Ours is a private home with private entrance. You simply arrive open the lock box, use the entry key and walk in the door. No deadlines!

Checking Out

How do I check out? First Review our "Departure Routine" on In-House Instructions. Then all you have to do is close the front door lock the door and return the entry key to the lockbox! Just make sure you leave behind, in the house, anything belonging to it, i.e: SPARE KEYS, CDs, Tapes, Books, etc.
What is check-out time? Check-out time is 10:00 am.
Can I check out late? Please request a late check out at least 7 days prior to arrival. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
Will it cost me more to check out late? Only if you are checking out so late that our cleaners can't get in the same day, and we do not have another guest coming in: we will charge for an extra night. There is no extra charge for a regular late check-out.
What if I'm not ready to leave at check-out time? This creates a problem with the cleaners trying to get in to do their job in time for the next guest to arrive. Check-out time is mandatory unless we have approved a late check-out.


What if something goes wrong while I am staying in your home? We will provide you with a 24 hour on-call, in-resort, emergency contact number. Also, in our home, you will find a full collection of all the information you could possibly want, and more.
What if the house has not been cleaned when I arrive? We are pleased to say that this has never happened, and we doubt it will. BUT, if it does, call the emergency contact person and the situation will be remedied as quickly as possible. If the problem can't be remedied until the next day, we will compensate you for the inconvenience. Check our Policies!

Things to Bring!

What should I be sure to remember to bring? Anything of a personal nature which you just can't live without: Favorite CD, DVD, Video, Medications, etc. Other things to bring: Hot Tub Sandals, Bathing Suit.
What do you have that I wouldn't expect? Lots! A Port-a-Crib, 2 Booster Chairs, 8 Bathrobes, Laundry Detergent, Kitchen Gadgets, Very Comfortable Beds & many extra Pillows!

Hot Tub.

Where is the Hot Tub located? The Hot Tub is right outside the Living Room on a Private Patio.
How Private is Private? The Hot Tub is for your use only. It is not shared by guests in any other unit. The same is true of the Patio. However, the Patio and Hot Tub can be seen from other units, so private does not mean "Secluded."

As owners - We are a Family / Group of six USA citizens who fell in love with Whistler about 10 years ago. This Group includes Brother and Sister-in-Law who reside in Virginia (Retired Air Force Colonel, Teacher & a Notre Dame alum); Daughter and Son-in-Law residing in Rhode Island, Senior Partner with Deloitte Consulting (former Army Officer & both URI grads); a close friend living in Olympia, WA working in Govt. We had our annual ski trip with the siblings and this year decided to go to Whistler, BC. It was a first time, but I know we will be back. The process in renting this fabulous town home started with an easy conversation with the owner after we submitted our application via alluradirect. Larry was easy going and gave us a sense of security with renting his home. He accurately explained and described the home and gave plenty of tips and advice on how to get the most of out our ski/snowboarding experience on the mountain, i.e. how to get there, the proximity, what he does personally, etc. The home was even better in person. It was clean with nice furnishings. It was the perfect amount of space for our family. The master bedroom with ensuite was comfortable and relaxing. The other 2 bedrooms shared a nice full bathroom also on the 2nd floor. Everything that was expected was supplied with plenty of towels and soap. The kitchen and open space to living room/dining area was great, where everyone could be around while preparing food or breakfast. The dining table was comfortable for the whole family to relax and eat/drink after a day on the slopes. One of the best perks was the nice outdoor hottub to relax your legs in after hitting the mountain. There was a full bathroom on the main floor as well, which was great for the ones on the pull out sofa. The living area had a nice hot gas fireplace too! Another added bonus was the washer/dryer in the home to able to wash some base layers in the evening. Further more, plenty of parking, 1 garage and 1 in front. We had a regular SUV in the garage and a large Yukon XL outside and it fit nicely and easily. The proximity to the village is great. Easily walkable (or easy drive if you choose) to the village/shops to the gondolas. Plenty of restaurants and shops everywhere. Great apres ski areas. Really one of the best ski villages around. Overall, the experience with Larry's home for a Whistler ski vacation was perfect, memorable, and was exactly what our family needed. The place was updated and modern and gave us the home away from home we were looking for. The process in contacting Larry to getting there and enjoying the place was easy and seamless. When we return to Whistler in the future, we will certainly look into staying again. Lastly, for families with kids or children, the home is very family/kid friendly. We had our 2 year old with us and he loved running around and going up the stairs etc. Larry's home had stuff for the kids as well. Just ask him and he'll let you know what child friendly things are already there to help your stay! Overall, great experience and time. We highly recommend without reservation to anyone looking for a place to rent for Whistler! You won't be disappointed!

A perfect location for a perfect vacation

We were extremely pleased with both the rental and its location. The home is well-maintained, clean and tastefully decorated. Larry provided us with all of the information we needed before our arrival and we were able to totally enjoy our vacation. This property is convenient to the slopes, shopping and other activities. We like to cook and the kitchen is very well equipped with cooking/baking utensils and supplies. We enjoyed the humorous description of how to use the hot tub. One note that could be added to the information packet as that there are glass, plastic and paper recycling bins alongside the trash containers. We would be happy to heartily recommend this home to others and would like to return in the future.

February Family Ski Trip

Larry is a great owner/host. Very responsive to calls and e-mails before and during trip. Photos and descriptions are accurate. Very well equipped kitchen, we ate most meals at home. Townhome is a short walk to the Village, but a little too far to walk with ski equipment.(we came up on shuttle, no car)

We used local taxi service to and from condo to base of gondola daily (big van for 5-6 people same price as a small taxi). Very fast and relatively inexpensive. Nice trip.

Larry was wonderful and very responsive both before and during our stay. This was our group's second time staying at this property. For this visit again, the house was very clean and in good shape. We like and appreciate the house policy of basic pantry and refrigerator staples--use freely, replace what you use the last of, share similar items upon departure. Would be great if there was a slow cooker available in the kitchen! Overall, great stay, great skiing, great responsiveness from the owner!

This property exceded our expectations. Larry is a wonderful host, he answered our questions almost inmediately. Everything in this house is perfectly balanced, heated floors, fireplace, decoration, bathrooms, hot tub, location (walking distance from the village and gondolas). I think we couldnt find a better place to stay. I would recomend it and I am looking forward to visit it again.

Ideal condo for a spring skiing holiday. We stayed 16 nights and it was great and the house had everything we needed , and more. Very warm and cosy inside regaldless of the weather outside. Very convenient location only a couple of minutes drive from the lift drop off point. No negatives at all. Larri is a very helpful and accommodating owner.

Great trip to Whistler

We spent a week in this fantastic townhouse. There were 5 of us and we loved this spacious, well appointed home. The location is perfect just a 5 minute walk to the village. This townhouse is a step above what we usually get when we stay in a vacation rental because of all the little extras such as terrycloth robes, blow dryers, a very complete kitchen, a garage for the car, cable television , a gas fireplace, patio with grill, comfortable beds with lots of extra pillows and linens, washer/ dryer, three full bathrooms, and a fabulous hot tub. We would highly recommend this townhouse and can't wait to go again.

Couldn't have picked a better place to stay while exploring Whistler. Celebrated our 10th anniversary in the beautiful condo. Easy 5 min. walk to the village and gondola. Plenty of great amenities. Super comfy beds, hot tub, full kitchen. Can't wait to spend a week in the winter and hit the slopes!

We stayed at the house for a week in april 2013. The house is very well appointed, and very well maintained. The bathrooms are all really good with great showers..a double shower in the main ensuite. The Kitchen is very well equipped, and stocked with the basics you'd need for cooking. We used the hot tub every day, a great way to ease the ski legs! Location wise it is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the village, or a 2 minute drive, close enough to be convenient, yet far enough away to be nice and quiet. Overall, we loved it!

Terrible Linens (scratchy old towels and bed sheets that shpuld have been given away 3 years ago) Even worse foul smell Hits you at the door like a sour wave. Kinda Vomit Mold Decomposing bad Right on Blackcomb Way so Noisy TVs so old the Whistler Recycle Centre will not even take them for donation. Fireplace that does not work and owner that Does Not Care. Stay away. Go elsewhere.

Wow! Not a happy camper! Arrived ANGRY, stayed much too long and left very unhappy. Nonetheless - the Owner's DO CARE. BACKGROUND - As stated on our website - we SCREEN Guests. So, let's delve a little deeper into this episode. Guest is from Calgary and states he once owned property in Whistler - but lost his "cabin" to an ex-wife. Has kids for a week, has airline tickets and kids want to ski. HE would prefer the Beach in Belize. We reluctantly accept Reservation Request. Then - guest is overdue making payment and does not respond to calls or emails. Finally makes balance payment just before reservation cancellation. Upon arrival at the home - calls and leaves a message questioning access code for wireless. We provide same and explain this information as well as much more is all included in our in-home Information Folder. NO OTHER COMPLAINTS OR COMMUNICATION DURING ENTIRE VISIT! NOW THE INTERESTING PART! On scheduled departure day Guests remain in the home nearly 6 hours past check-out time despite several on-site requests by housekeepers to vacate. I personally arrive 7 hours after designated check-out time and find the home completely trashed. Windows open, garbage strewn throughout the home, food remnants and dirty dishes in bed rooms. Hot Tub in need of complete recycle. Calls to departing Guest - unanswered! Home cannot be cleaned until the following day. With respect to specific complaints: The odor mentioned likely arrived and departed with the guests. There was no problem with the fireplace. No - we do not provide 46" flat screen TVs. Our towels and linens are clean and fresh. Our home, as advertised, is a private home. We do not provide valet service and we do not offer wide-screen cinema entertainment. We do, however, ask that guests respect our home and if issues arise - please notify us and we'll do our best to resolve them. This guest would most likely have been more comfortable at a Four Seasons Hotel in the tropics where he had the benefit of an attentive staff (including a recently divorced psychiatrist) all trained to listen to personal problems while he lounged in a bubble bath and watched projection 3D - TV. We might also suggest a visit to Anger Management. Meanwhile - it would be greatly appreciated if he paid the balance on charges incurred for excessive cleaning, damage and 6 hours of trespassing beyond the prescribed check-out time. Our home is designed for adventurous caring Families looking for the very best in a fabulous outdoor year-round Resort. Amazing Vacation Home

This was an amazing place for our three night stay. As a group of avid skiers and snowboarders we were looking for a spacious house that was close to the mountain and an awesome place to return to after a long day on the slopes. The location was perfect, not just for skiing and boarding, but for walking into the village for ice skating, eating out, shopping and bars/clubs at night. We were not disappointed! It was like being in an updated version of your favorite family cabin from childhood. There was a washer and dryer for wet clothes, a cozy fire place and lots of sitting room for eating/playing card games in both the dining room and living room. Each bedroom had a TV, there was a great sound system in the living room, a wide variety of boardgames and a binder full of tips and ideas for nightlife/village fun. We did family style meals each night for dinner and found the kitchen to be well equipped for our every need. There was even a sled in the garage that we took out for a spin. We definitely got our money's worth out of the hot tub! It was an amazing way to wind down at night and the warning sign on the outside cracked us up (be sure to watch out for venomous bats!). This was a highlight of this rental property! We were a group of couples reuniting after graduating from college in 2008 and had people traveling from as far as la, Portland and Las Vegas to make it to this trip. The owner was extraordinarily accommodating of our maximum capacity group and really made an effort to see to it that we all had comfortable sleeping arrangements. We could not have had a better place to make all the awesome memories that we did on this trip. Can't think of a single bad thing to say. Thanks Larry Ryan!!

Couldn't have planned it any better! Arrived and the snow started falling! This is our second trip staying in Larry's Montebello property, which is fantastic. Upscale, very comfortable and conveniently located. The patio area out back provide sufficient room for 3 and 5yr olds to build snowmen and play for quick trips outside. It was very cold about 15 degrees (F) so that was convenient. All in all couldn't have asked for much more!

This was the perfect accomodation for our family of 6. The location was close enough to walk to the village yet far enough to be away from the "crowds". The kitchen was ideal and well stocked. We had great family meals almost every day. The townhouse was very clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this townhouse to anyone.

The house is right at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, so even the road is fairly safe for kids to play on. Three comfy large bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. We had four adults and three tiny kids in the house; it was plenty big enough. Hot tub was fantastic. The kitchen was stocked to overflowing and wasn't missing any important items or utensils. There were never any bears or venomous bats in the garden. Top place and good service from Larry when the front door lock broke.

Nice, clean well-equipped townhouse. Plenty of space. Great kitchen. Nice to have private hot tub, but as the snow bank melted, we felt very exposed to the people on the jogging path behind the house. Overall, a fine, roomy place to stay.
