SKI in SKI out.  Location is everything and our unit is in a perfect spot to enjoy everything Whistler has to offer during both the winter and summer.  Our unit is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom end unit within a 5 minute walk to the Blackcomb village, Lost Lake and the Chateau Whistler Golf Course.  Forest Trails is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the heart of the Whistler Village or you can ride the complimentary shuttle.  An entrance to the Whistler trail network is accoss the street for easy ski access to the lifts in the winter or biking and walking trails in the summer.   If you are a tennis enthusiast you need only to cross the path to reach public tennis courts.   This is a very comfortable and bright end unit with wood accents, Gas Fire place, wifi, washer/dryer and an open kitchen.  Enjoy a hockey game post ski on one of the two flat screen tvs or have a dinner party at the family size dinner table.  The unit has 2 free parking spots and there is SECURE storage in the enclosed garage (great for skis, bikes and golf clubs).  The unit has been designed with a family in mind and is great for a family or multi-family getaway.  The very spacious main room is great to entertain or relax after a fun day at Whistler.   Both bathrooms have been completely renovated and they include shower, laundry and tub/shower.   The majority of the unit has been recently painted and furniture is updated on a regular basis.  The ensuite master bedroom has a brand new KING bed, new linens and is really, really comfortable.  There is also a closet, dresser, flat screen TV (dvd player) and two new reading lights.  The 2nd bedroom  has a bunk bed with a double below and a single up top and is accross from the 2nd bathroom.  In addition there is a new, modern flip couch in the living room that turns into a queen bed.  Further, there are 2 Graco pack and plays for small children, a high chair, jogging stroller for the trails and tobaggans for the older kids.   The dining table can seat 6 comfortably or be pulled out with the extra leaves for a larger group and there is additional seating at the kitchen bar.  To secure rental click RESERVE NOW.

Property Description

This is a ground floor unit.  There are two bedrooms and 2 newly renovated bathrooms.  The master bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite, and the second bedroom has a double bunk with a single up top.  The fully-equiped kitchen is open to a dining area and a large living room with a sliding door to the patio and a gas fireplace.  The living room has a queen size flip out sofa bed.

The 2 bedroom unit will comfortably sleep 7 people in 4 beds.  There is a new king size bed in the master bedroom, a double bed with a single bunk in the 2nd bedroom and a queen size flip bed in the living room.  All linens are new for the 2014 season.

The living room has a gas fireplace and 50 inch flat screen TV.  There is a recliner and long couch that flips out into a queen bed, as well as bar seating.

Sea to Sky Security will report to all noise complaints and a $100 fee will bed deducted from your damage deposit.  2nd noise violation will see Sea to Sky Security take the measures to evict your party off the premises.  The goal is to keep the unit a fun place with respect to our neighbours.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise If there is excessive noise complaints and the noise continues then action will be taken by security and or the police. We want a safe, fun atmosphere for all renters at Forest Trails.
Housekeeping Provided before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense. Checkouts on stat holidays may be charged a cleaning fee.
Liability We are not liable for any injuries to your person or your belongings while you stay at Forest Trails. It is important to be safe and lock your valuables. Lost or stolen property should be reported to the police. We will not be liable for lost or stolen property so in is wise to carry insurance.
Maintenance Emergencies Emergency contacts provided upon balance payment.

Property Damage All property damaged will be charged to the renter. We know at times things will happen and the best solution is to let us know so we can get item fixed at the lowest possible cost. This will reduce the cost to you.
Rental Accommodation Zoning We are zoned for nightly rentals.
Terms of Eviction Will be evicted for excessive noise, common or private property damage or threat of damage, disturbing the peace, excess of maximum sleeping capacity, or violation of any of our policies. You will not receive a refund!

Parking

Is there parking at the unit? Yes, there are parking passes in the unit, and the spots are on a first come, first served basis.
What happens if I lose the parking pass? There is a $150 charge to replace the parking pass

Cleaning

Do you charge a cleaning fee? With our normal rates, a clean at the end of your stay is included. For longer term stays (14 days or more) or very short term rentals (2 night) you will be charged for a clean during your stay. If the unit is left really dirty, extra cleaning costs may be deducted from your damage deposit. Please read and follow the checkout procedures.
Can I arrange for extra cleaning during my stay? Yes, if you want to have the unit cleaned during your stay it can be arranged through our cleaning service
What happens if I checkout on a stat holiday? If the unit needs to be cleaned on a stat holiday a cleaning fee may be applied to your stay.

Garbage and Recycling

Where do I take the garbage? There is a dumpster in the condo complex. It is right beside the parking stalls. The door to the garbage room isn't locked
Is there Recycling at the Forest Trails No there is no recycling collection at Forest Trails. Please take your recycling to the recycling station near Nesters market or in function junction. In the next few months Forest Trails hopes to introduce a new recycling program.

Internet and TV

Is there internet and cable TV? Yes, there is wifi, cable TV and netflix. The internet password is sent in your check in package and netflix is loaded on the TV and on the wii. Including a new 50" flat screen.

Childcare

We were a group of 3 adults at whistler/blackcomb to ski., We stayed 4 nights. We very happy with our stay at this unit. Everything was just exactly as advertised. The unit was very clean upon arrival. The beds were comfortable, and the amenities (such as TV, netflix) were great. Close proximity to Blackcomb slopes, as well as a short walk to the village. We also found the washer/dryer and boot dryers very useful.

We would definitely stay here again if we return. Kristen was very responsive to our questions about the unit/whistler/blackcomb. Kristen, thank you for everything.

Forest Trails . . . great stay!

This was a great place for us and I would return. My lower rating regarding cleanliness probably has more to do with the previous renters . . . many dishes returned to the cupboards were not clean on our arrival. Otherwise, no issues and everything functioned well.

Two weeks at Forest Trails

We had a fantastic stay at Will and Kirsten's apartment. The proximity to Blackcomb made it easy each day to get to and from the lifts. Our two children especially loved the apartment as it was so kid friendly. My wife and I both commented on how easy it was to come home each day for lunch and to be able to relax and cook dinner instead of heading out to eat each night, which would have been considerably difficult with young children. That said the bus service is excellent and the bus stop is only 25m away. We especially would like to thank Will and Kirsten for their diligence and contact to make sure we had everything we needed. We all want to return very soon, and hopefully it will be to Forest Trails again. We love Canada and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I have stayed here in both winter and summer and love its location close to Blackcomb lifts but also the biking /walking trails and lost lake in the summer. It's quiet but only a short walk to the village if you feel like more action. The shower is great, the beds are comfy, the kitchen well equipped...everything I need in a rental...and efficient owners as a plus.

This is a nice/average two-bedroom condo. The unit was in good condition but showed some rental wear. Not fancy, but comfortable. The kitchen was well-supplied. Good wifi. This is a ground floor unit in the Forest Trails development. Because snow conditions were not good during our visit, it was a 6-minute walk on a trail to the Wizard Blackcomb lift. With better snow, you could ski most of that, though it is mostly a flat trail. The property has an access code instead of a key, which is quite convenient. The owner was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with at every stage of the rental process, but slow to return the damage deposit, which took a month to get back.
