Welcome to the Honua Kai Resort,  Maui’s Newest Luxury Beach Front Resort.  Located in West Maui, North Ka’anapali Beach has been voted one of the top 10 of beaches in the world. This complex, which opened in 2010, is simply amazing and comprises 43 acres of manicured tropical landscaping. The Honua Kai has open air lobbies with ocean views, 2 fitness centers with state of the art equipment, infinity pool with cabanas, aqua loungers and hot tubs, river pool kids area with sand bottom pool, grotto & a water slide, all  onlooking the back drop of the Ocean.

The suite is extra large at 780 sq. ft. with a 140 sq.ft. Lanai with Partial Ocean Views  from the Lanai. The suite is  “turn key” with a  Gourmet Kitchen with every utensil supplied & featuring Bosch Stainless Steel Appliances and Granite counter tops. The  large master bedroom has a king size bed plus an HD TV, a huge cheater-ensuite bath with a separate shower, soaker tub & double sinks. The living room hs a queen size pull out couch, flat screen HD TV with Blu Ray player and a formal dining room area. This suite is the newer Konea tower and was first occupied in late 2011. 

Looking for the ultimate in scenery and relaxation? The Honua Kai has it all. Walk or jog the boardwalk to Whaler’s Village or snorkel at Black Rock. Relax by the pool or pop into Duke’s Beach House which is onsite for happy hour or for dinner. Shopping is nearby and there is the Aina Gourmet Market located in the Hokalani lobby.

Situated on the golden expanse of Ka'anapli Beach this resort has easy access to snorkeling, whale watching in-season and nearby shopping.  Just a short walk to Black Rock where some of the very best snorkling is found or go at sunset and watch the cliff divers.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Cancellation by Guest: All payments are non-refundable. We will make every effort to replace your booking. If successful for the same rate and length or higher we will refund your money at the re-booked rate minus a 5% cancellation fee.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed to you.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise This is a high end, quiet development. Noise complaints may result in eviction by local police or security personnel. Normal conversation and laughing pitch is permitted. Screaming, swearing, yelling, etc are not.
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for removing garbage to the disposal area.
Housekeeping Provided before arrival. A cleaning fee for after departure may be an additional charge. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense.
Internet Availability & Usage Illegal downloads forbidden. Should we receive notification that such activity has occurred, the Guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.
Liability We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home,while in transit to, or while on resort property. Please make sure you have your own travel insurance.
Maintenance Emergencies Emergencys please contact us right away.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 4 is the Maximum number of people. No exceptions.
Missing Items Guests will assume costs of replacing items that are missing upon the Guest departure. Everything has been inventoried.
Parking & Ticketing Parking is paid directly to the Honua Kai front desk for a daily charge.
Property Damage Any damage in the suite will be the full responsibility of the client that stays in property.
Rental Accommodation Zoning We are zoned for nightly rentals.
Terms of Eviction Will be evicted for excessive noise, common or private property damage or threat of damage, disturbing the peace, excess of maximum sleeping capacity, or violation of any of our policies. You will not receive a refund!

Aloha, we are Terry and Jill, we are Realtors and we have been coming to Hawaii since the 1980's. We used to go to Waikiki but West Maui in general and the Honua Kai Resort specifically take the Hawaiian experience to a whole new level.


We love living in Vancouver B.C. but this place is exactly what we dreamed about in a "home away from home".
