Walk through the front door into a spacious entryway with ski and outerwear storage and bathroom with shower. This opens onto the living room, which has a warm seating area around the gas fireplace and a 37 inch plasma TV. The large, fully-equipped kitchen and connected laundry room joins to the dining area via a large pass through. Access to the spacious, private deck is provided by the large slider. Light fills the first floor through expansive windows facing both Whistler and Blackcomb peaks.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms: the master with queen bed & tv, and the second bedroom which has a tri-bunk with double bed below and twin/single above. The master bedroom also has an ensuite bath with jetted tub.

We live in the Seattle area and fell in love with Whistler after several vacation trips. Both winter and summer in Whistler have tons to offer by way of activities, food, shopping, and natural beauty. In setting up our Whistler home we've tried to include all the things we like when we vacation. And we always welcome suggestions of things we could add to make your stay more enjoyable!
Both the process (reservation, check-in/out, etc) and the facility (condo, parking, etc), were top notch. The location is great, as it is in Whistler Village near the IGA grocery store and Whistler Olympic Plaza. Walking and biking trails are nearby. Highly recommended!
This townhouse is in the perfect location. The shops and grocery store are right across the street. We didn't use our vehicle even once in 3 days! Another added bonus is that the bedrooms are on the second floor, so our children were able to take a nap without being disturbed. The townhouse was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I highly recommend staying here.
What a wonderful place to stay, check in was smooth and the condo was easy to find. It's close to the heated pool, parking and the heart of Whistler Village. The grocery store is 2 mins away, which was perfect. The condo was very well stocked with kitchen supplies, like a good knife, coffee bodum, dish soap etc. There is even a washer & dryer, which with small children makes life so much easier. The bedding was very comfortable and everything was spotless. Our family would definitely recommend this unit and hope to stay here on our next trip!
My wife & I stayed at Nancy's condo in Whistler Village for a week with our teenage son and his friend and we all had a fabulous time! Nancy was extremely responsive and helpful, the condo is compact and nicely laid out to accommodate 4 adults... 7 adults would be very tight. The condo is nicely appointed and cozy with a fully stocked kitchen, outdoor grill, gas fireplace and included an xbox console & games & movies & music library. The location is well situated across the street from the main Marketplace and Olympic Village and a solid 10 minute walk to the Whistler & Blackcomb gondolas. The community pool & hot tub complex is 30 seconds away and includes changing rooms with showers, barely heated outdoor pool and a wonderfully heated and huge outdoor hot tub which we enjoyed every day!! The weekly rate we paid during a prime vacation week (us President's Day holiday) was a fair value. As mentioned by some other reviewers about the condo complex I do have to agree that the walls are a tad thin so interior & exterior sounds are a bit more than I'd like and the bedroom blinds do not block out the community path and pool lights so our room never got darker than "morning"... However, weighing the pros & cons we would seriously consider staying here again and really had a fabulous vacation!!
This condo is great for groups visiting whistler, especially for families who need kitchen amenities and stay in at night. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and even basics such as oil, sugar and tea, which makes arrival all the more easier. The only improvement I would suggest is for the TV selection to be broadened to include some sport channels. Travelling from australia we like to enjoy and get into the local sports and found this difficult with only the basic tv channels.
Great town home! The location was perfect! Great walking distance to everything. It's about a 2min walk to the Market and the main village stroll where you can find a plethora of eateries, shops, and bars. You really can't beat the location. We were even able to see a firework show coming from the village from our windows. The great part is that even though it's so close to the main part of town the unit it-self is far removed from the hustle and bustle. The townhome is very intimate, cozy, and had great views. It's away from any major roads and located near the inner part of the complex. You’re surrounded by trees, other townhomes, and amazing view of Blackcomb. Perfect place for a party of 6-7 people. A friend who was supposed to bring the board games couldn't make it one night but luckily the place already came stocked with movies and games (it's stocked but I would still suggest also bringing your own games and movies). The place also had an Xbox…we never used it but it was nice it was there. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the basic kitchen amenities. If you want a relaxing and fun weekend with your friends and family this is a great place. If you’re planning on getting rowdy I would suggest looking somewhere else. There’s a strict noise ordinance starting at 10pm. Other plusses: Very clean! Spacious Kitchen was fully equipped Beds were comfortable Cozy They provided us with lots of towels Parking available (one spot dedicated the unit) Things to know: I don’t know if we were supposed to bring this or it should have come stocked with the place, but I would suggest making sure to bring paper towels and trash linings. Other than that the facility has everything you need as far as cleaning.
The condo was exactly as advertised. Neat, clean, well-appointed. The location was perfect as far as we were concerned. Close enough to walk to shopping, restaurants and night clubs...well just far enough away not to hear them. The condo has access to a heated pool and hot tub...and right across the street from the market. I love visiting Whistler and will use this place again and again :).
My husband, son (4yrs) and I stayed 4 delightful nights and were joined for two of those nights by my parents, brother and niece (5yrs). The accommodations fit our family perfectly. You can't beat the location, as it's directly across the street from Marketplace, with all its convenience of the grocery store and Starbucks (to name a few), but very helpful to have the children's play area and the Olympic plaza at our fingertips (a 2 minute walk). We have rented several units at Stoney Creek in recent years and no unit compares to how well it is maintained (very clean) and the amenities that are provided and thought of for renters. The owners have done a wonderful job of making you feel at home with all the simple touches provided; a well-stocked kitchen, abundance of bath towels and linens, additional shampoo and soaps. They were also extremely communicative and helpful in ensuring our stay was a pleasant one! Nancy even emailed me personally the week before, asking if there were any last-minute questions we had. Have never received that from any other owner, previously. It shows they take pride in their unit and want their renters to enjoy it as well! Well done!!!
Stayed during the week of Crankworxx. The location is perfect. Close enough to walk everywhere, but quiet enough to get a good rest. The unit was clean and nicely laid out. The kids loved the pool. The kitchen was well stocked (even a rice cooker) and the furniture was comfortable. The units were very quiet (soundproof) as well.
Great place to stay for a family with three teenagers. The townhouse was cozy and had all the comforts of home. There were plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, games and Dvds. The location is very close to all the amenities - you can easily walk there and leave your car parked in the convenient underground parking lot. The community pool and hot tub were never too crowded and very well maintained. The staff at reception were extremely accommodating. Nancy, the owner, is exceptionally prompt and pleasant to deal with. Will definitely stay here again!
This place is exactly as is described. Comfortable two bedrooms and two bath with balcony, pool and conveniently located to grocery store and all of Whistler Village. We stayed here with our two teenagers daughters and it was perfect for our needs. Would stay here again.
We've stayed in Whistler quite a few times both summer and winter. This one was our favorite summer unit so far and would be great in winter as well. It's right on the edge of the village and prefectly located for all the activities throughout the Whistler Valley. You have to walk through the village to get to the lifts though but it's not a big deal and probably one of the closest places to the market and liquor store. Has the feel of being in the village but not some of the negatives that come with staying right on the main village walk. The unit is really well prepped and all the amenities we could want were provided. Things like gaming system and games, a ton of Cd's and movies for down time. The pool and hot tub are right there but not too close. Our family had a great time and we definitly would recomend staying here again. Hope to return in the future.
There are many units at Northstar, we stayed in apartment 113 Northstar which is great. It has everything that you could need plus a great location, away from the highway so it is quiet in the apartment, close to the supermarket and everything is within easy walking distance. It was more like staying at a friends home than a rental - there are many little extras included, not just a bare room. Kitchen was fully equipped with more than usually supplied, including ample crockery/cutlery, herbs/spices, coffee, even sticky tape, post-it notes and pens all of which came in useful. Bedding and linen/towels were very good with separate towels supplied for pool use. It was quite hot (33+) during our stay so the fans supplied for the living area and both bedrooms were appreciated. The free wi-fi included in the rental helped with deciding which activities we would be doing each day and keeping in touch with family at home. The owners were excellent in their communication, from our initial enquiry, booking and supplying check in / check out details. I would recommend it as a great place to stay.
This was our first time in Whistler and it was fantastic. The location of the apartment couldn't have been better - it was walking distance from the main town and main ski lifts (and right opposite the bus stop for the free ski bus when we were too tired to walk!) There is a great supermarket directly opposite for those nights when we just didn't have the energy to eat out. The apartment is spacious, very clean and well equipped. We have 3 children and they all slept in the second bedroom with the younger two sharing the lower bunk double. The room is big enough to accommodate the 3 of them. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washing machine and dryer were really useful to keep on top of the washing. The owners have provided a selection of Dvds which was great for the kids as the ones we had brought with us didn't work in the DVD machine. The TV in the main bedroom was also a bonus when there was a disagreement on what to watch as there were some children's channels available. The communal swimming pool and hot tub was well used and very relaxing at the end of a long day. We had an excellent holiday in a resort that was so much better than the alps - the ski runs are so quiet and the ski school second to none. We will definitely be back!
North Star Unit 113 is a great little condo for a family. Super convenient; groceries, Starbucks, playground, restaurants. Pool and hot tub are great after a day of skiing! Rooms were clean and well stocked with towels etc.
Highly recommended. 6 nursing students wanted a get-a-way and got exactly that. The home itself was clean, well prepared, full kitchen, 1 free secure parking, nothing but good things to say about this stay. I will return for sure! Excellent communication directly with owner. A lot of helpful tips to make sure my stay was well cared for.
Great weekend at a great condo. The location was very convenient to the village, grocery store, and liquor store and the walk to the lift was quick. We arrived to find the condo extremely clean and well stocked with clean sheets, blankets, towels, soap, dishes, and everything else we'd need during our stay. The key-code lock was great for our party of 5 and prevented us from having to worry about losing a key on the slopes. To top it off the owner provided great communication before the trip and was readily available to answer any questions that popped up. Highly recommended you won't be disappointed.
We were able to get into the town home a couple hours early of the check-in time. Which was awesome because it was snowing really hard and very cold when we got to Whistler (we weren't prepared yet for snowboarding as we plan on sight seeing on our first day, but need to change into our warmer clothing). It is in excellent condition with all the amenities we needed, especially the Wi-fi. There's also an x-box 360 if you're stuck inside the house due to injury or something. We have a total of 7 people for our trip, which fit and sleep comfortably during our 3 night stay. The kitchen have all the equipment you need to cook your own meals. Refrigerator is very decent size that you fill up when you go grocery shopping across the street. The 2 bedroom on the 2nd floor are very big sharing a roomy full bath with jet tub. There's also a full bathroom on the first floor. It has a gated underground parking space and just across the street, there's a super market and a few good places to eat. It's a 10 - 15 minute walk to the Whistler Gondola depending on which route you take. Overall, I recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to stay at Whistler.
My husband and 11 year old son stayed in this suite for five nights. It comes stocked with the essentials (oil, balsamic, spices, foil, saran wrap, etc.), has a full flight of entertainment options (TV, DVD, xBox 360, traditional games, and more), comfortably seats 6 for dinner, 2 bathrooms (my son loved the jacuzzi jets in the tub), a light and relatively spacious living area, barbecue and deck. The facility has pool and hot tub - really close to the suite. The location is very central with grocery, liquor store almost across the street, and walking distance to everything Whistler and Blackcomb villages have to offer. Nancy - the property owner - was very responsive on the odd question or two I had. Ithe suite is not appropriate for anyone that might have difficulty with stairs, but other than that I do recommend it.
We spent a great week in Whistler with this condo as our home base. The location was perfect for getting around Whistler on foot. Having a grocery store (etc.) right across the street was very convenient. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and it was the best equipped rental kitchen I've stayed in! If you go, I would recommend the indian restaurant (very close by), Tandoori Grill. And I missed out but the rest of my family loved Dinky Dogs (delicious hot dogs with every imaginable (truly!) topping possible. Also, if you like museums, go to the Squamish Lil'Wat Cultural Centre and make sure to take the tour.
Book this unit if you're thinking of staying in Whistler!! Thanks to the Humbachers for providing us with a wonderful place to stay during our Whistler getaway! The unit was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Pool: We didn't use the pool (just our luck it was the "coldest start to July in 23 years", believe it or not!) but it looked really nice and we would have definitely used it if the outdoor temps were warmer. Location: We were close enough to Whistler Village and all it has to offer that our car didn't even move from the secured, underground parking spot the entire time we were there! In-unit amenities: The amenities in the unit were outstanding... * The washer/dryer allowed us to avoid packing dirty clothing in our suitcases despite having done a glacier walk and the Via Ferrata in the gushy snow! * The clean, comfortable, stocked kitchen to cook in saved us so much money vs. going to restaurants. * The balcony was nice for sitting outside in the cool mountain air. * We had no reason to use the heat or a/c since the outside temps kept it very comfortable in the unit, but it was nice to have fans in each bedroom to use at night. * Our kids (13 and 11) loved having access to the Xbox/games/movies while my husband and I were out enjoying the Via Ferrata. * It was great to relax by the fireplace and play board games after our awesome, strenuous outings in the mountains. What hotel provides puzzles and board games?? * Easy key-code access - no keys to carry around! * While we were there, our kids said that it didn't even feel really like vacation at all. They said it felt like we were staying at a friend's house...and it did - it was home away from home! Truly, we wanted for nothing as the owners thought of everything we might need - right down to laundry baskets, an abundance of clean towels and pillows/blankets, spices, dinnerware, cooking utensils, dish soap, even ice cube trays, ziploc bags and aluminum foil! We experienced a few problems with the management company personnel (which is the only reason that "customer service" & "key pickup/access" are the only two things that aren't rated 5 stars), but the maintenance tech was super nice and the owners themselves were just wonderful to deal with. Our email communications with the owners left no questions unanswered and they were always more than pleasant. All in all, there's no question that we would definitely try to book this unit again should we return to Whistler. This was our first time ever having stayed in a vacation rental vs a hotel and it was such a great experience that we want to do this from now on whenever/wherever we travel! It truly was one of the best parts of our B.C. trip! :^)
We stayed in Northstar 113 for the Tough Mudder event and it was great! I was able to accommodate many of my team mates and not have to worry about many hotel rooms. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped.
We were a party of 6 with 4 adults and two children. We enjoyed the property, and would book again. The location and facility were great. The condo layout worked well with nice separation between sleeping areas and common space. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, and the bathrooms were very clean and spacious. The one negative was that the cleaners didn't vacuum the carpeted floors very well, as there was visible dirt and debris upon our arrival, and it was clear the condo had not been dusted. An empty beer box with several cigarette butts was also left on the balcony. Save for the few cleaning oversights, the place was great and enjoyed by all. Nancy, the owner of the condo, was incredibly attentive, helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure to deal with her.
The property was located right by the marketplace and the village. Everything was in walking distance, but if you didn't feel like walking to the gondolas, the shuttle bus was literally steps away! The property was fully stocked with everything you need so you didn't have to worry about running to the market for odds and ends (kitchen was fully stocked with condiments, laundry detergent, soap, etc). The property had free wi-fi which was great since one of us unfortunately had to do work during our stay. The property is also located right next to the hot tub/pool area which was very convenient. The fireplace and boot dryers were also great after a day out on the slopes. And best of all, the property owners were a pleasure to work with. They were very accomodating and made my planning process a breeze.
This was my first trip to Whistler and the experience was wonderful. This condo was conveniently located to the bus, the village as well as the hot-tub and pool. It was a pleasure renting from Nancy and I look forward to a return visit.
I've stayed at a lot of Whistler hotels and properties around and this one was my favourite by far. Location is a short walk to the gondolas as well as being right across the street from the IGa grocery store and many other restaurants. The unit itself is in great shape with comfy bedding, plenty of towels, a well equipped kitchen, and nice touches like a glove/boot drier and even an xbox for those times when the conditions aren't so great :) Overall I had a wonderful stay and look forward to staying there again in the future.
Six of us stayed in the property for two days and it was perfect. We cooked all of our meals in the fully furnished kitchen and used the grill on the deck both nights. There was plenty of extra bedding for everybody to be comfortable and the pull out sofa bed in the living room area was surprisingly cozy. It is close enough to the pedestrian area of the village to walk everywhere, but far enough away to sleep at night. The complex is wooded and set back from the road and there are nice trees surrounding the balcony. Nancy was very helpful in answering any questions before we arrived and the rental agency was there to answer a few that we had in Whistler. I would highly recommend the place for a visit to Whistler and will try and stay again if I have a chance to return.
The condo was perfect for our first visit to Whistler. The location adjacent to the village is super convenient. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The unit's amenities are perfect for a family group or just a couple. We look forward to visiting again.
Perfect location for accessing all the amenities of Whistler Village. Condo is well-stocked for visitors, including towels for the great pool and hot tub next door. Wonderful views of the mountains from the balcony and master bedroom. Not a ton of space, but well laid-out and nice to have the top 2 floors of the building. Washer/dryer was a huge plus. A little stuffy on warmer nights, but fans are provided. Terrific home base for exploring Whistler!
We had a terrific stay at this condo. Very comfortable for meals and lounging. With two teenagers, the two full baths were appreciated. We loved the location across the street from the grocery store. Also, easy access to everything else Whistler offers.
We had to drive 10 hours in a vehicle to get to our destination. We brought our bikes and were able to bike/walk everywhere. There was a mountain bike festival which was in walking distance. A relative came to visit by Greyhound bus and that was close by. The grocery shopping was across the street and most of the activities were within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Lost Lake was close. We were close to everything! Movie theater, shopping, mountain, parks, valley trail system which goes through the town. We enjoy hiking and this was the only place we had to drive to which was the trail head and we probably could have biked if we had more time. The teens were able to get to the air dome by bike and the mountain bike activities. The condo was warm, great music selection, kitchen well stocked (spices, coffee, tea), welcome chocolates. Thanks!

We had a delightful time, even though the weather wasn't so nice. The condo had everythng you would want and more. The location was great and close to everything. We only took the car out once to travel a distance down the road. I would recommend this wonderful place to anyone who is interest in going to Whistler.
the plase was nice and clean.close to all the shoping.good for biking.went up the mounten .it was beutifull up there.it was our 50th anniversery.we had a family reunion good walking trails.we found the pices for the children activeties very high.but othervice it was very nice there.
I recently stayed at Northstar 113 and it was the perfect stay for my Spring break getaway. I stayed with four girls and it was the perfect spot for everything we were looking for. It was a five minute walk to the base of the mountain, with all of the bars and the shops on the way. The grocery store was right across the street so we never had to drive anywhere our whole trip. The amenities were wonderful and it was quiet enough to get some peace but was perfectly suitable for a group of college kids. I would definitely stay there again!
This was the perfect place to stay for a 5-day vacation with my husband and 17-month-son son, from March 10-15, 2011. We found the property through Vrbo, and the owner (Nancy) was extremely helpful and hospitable right from the start. The condo is a well-designed 2-bdrm + 2-bath townhouse and occupies the upper two floors (Note: there are no elevators). The MBr has an attached bath, and the second room has a bunk setup with a Q bed below and T on top; there was plenty of room for our rented crib to fit too. The downstairs was wonderfully cozy, but with plenty of room for us to spread out and the baby to play. This is a very bright and well-maintained unit with a lovely view from all rooms, and our son loved gazing out the windows at all the snow and views of the mountains. The condo location was amazing too: right across the street from the IGa Marketplace and a mini-mall of restaurants and convenience stores, and a 10-min walk to the main Village amenities. The only negative feedback is that the check-in procedures (had to pick up keys from Whistler Reception Services, located at Deer Lodge) were a hassle considering that we had traveled several hours by plane, had a long wait at Vancouver airport and then 3 hours in 2 buses with an over-tired toddler and lots of luggage. Although one WRS staff member (Jules) had been an incredible resource over e-mail in the weeks prior to our trip, her co-workers were not helpful in resolving start-up issues, were not willing to deliver basic tools, and did not come to the property on the day we arrived to attend to basic maintenance problems. Perhaps the owner can find another source in the future to check-in guests and/or meet them at the condo, especially in the winter and when small kids are involved. Overall, though, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back for a summer visit!
This unit is very close to the mountain for skiing. It's convenient to the shops in the village. The grocery store is across the street. We enjoyed our stay there!
Charming townhouse close to the village and bus stop for skiing. We enjoyed the extra amenities offered such as; coffee, laundry soap and cozy bath robes. The unit was clean, updated and quiet. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. As a vacation rental owner myself, I would highly recommend this unit to anyone interested in staying at Whistler.
We have spent the last 3 months in this well equipped, perfectly located cozy townhouse. While only a close walk to the village, bus stops, and supermarket, it remained a quiet, perfect place to relax after a day out skiing. We were spoilt by arriving to many of homes luxuries including a fully equipped kitchen with herb and spice rack, cook books and cleaning/dish washing products. Similarly to the living areas downstairs, the bathrooms contained everything that was needed, from bathrobes, to shampoo and conditioner. Overall, the townhouse provided us with the perfect place to relax and enjoy everything whistler had to offer over the 10/11 winter period.
If you are looking for a place in Whistler that won't cost you an arm and a leg, but still has easy access to the Village, than this is the place for you! It was clean and comfortable, came with everything you would need like washer/dryer, dishwasher, shampoos and soaps, pots and pans, coffee and tea etc. It was very much a home away from home. And we loved that it was just steps away from the hot tub and pool. For a larger size group I honestly thought this unit was perfect! Would definitely come again!
