Welcome to our website and our spectacular Whistler vacation townhouse. This is a wonderful unit located on the Benchlands and beside the Chateau Whistler Golf Course. It is a 10 min walk to the Village and 5 min walk to Lost Lake. There is a free shuttle bus service and the bus stop is located in front of "The Woods". This is a very romantic spot for one or two couples as well as young families or athletic friends. Whistler is well known for skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, golfing, trail biking, running, rollerblading, swimming, kyacking, ice skating and horseback riding. For those wanting more relaxation, The Fairmont Hotel and Four Seasons Hotel are a 5 minute walk and have great Spas. The Woods has a ski-in and either a short walk to the ski-out or free bus shuttle to the Upper Blackcomb Village ski lift . The mountain views are visible from the kitchen, dining and living areas. The living area has a wonderful wood burning fireplace. This unit has been newly painted, carpeted, has 3 brand new flat screen TV's as well as free internet and in-suite laundry. There is a common outside hot tub. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Property Description
There are five outside stairs going into the unit and one level inside. Guests walk into the entrance room (ski storage area) where they leave their skis, snowboard boots and wet gear or other sporting equipment except bikes (no bikes permitted inside unit). The master bedroom is to the left and has a queen size bed with a 40" flat screen TV and en-suite bathroom with heated slate floors and jacuzzi tub with shower. The second bedroom is bright and also has a 40" flat screen TV with queen size bed. The second bathroom is located across from this bedroom and has heated slated floors as well as large walk-in shower. Both bedrooms have some closet space and additional place to hang clothes or wet gear in entrance room. The kitchen, dining and living area are open plan and look at fabulous views as there are many windows. It has a full kitchen with heated slated floors and two bar stools. The dining room has a new pine dining set with 6 chairs. The living room has a sofa bed, chair and a brand new 8' long cushion below the windows*, 40" flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo. There is a private deck off the kitchen.
*This is a beautiful place to read a book and watch the snow fall.

Kitchen
The kitchen is very bright and has a fridge, dishwasher, garburator, microwave, toaster and basic supplies and has an 8 piece dish and cutlery set. The kitchen has heated slate flooring.
Living Area
The living area is open to the kitchen and dining area and has a lovely large wood burning fireplace. It has a beautiful 8' sitting area along side the windows to read and watch the snow fall. It also has a new 40" flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo. It has a sofa bed and chair.
Dining Area
The dining area sits six people plus there are two bar stools. It is very bright as the dining area and living room have all windows on one side that look at the trees and mountains in the distance.
Special Features
The special features of this property include free internet service, 3 new flat screen TV's, hot tub jaccuzzi in unit and outside community hot tub. There is ski and snowboard storage inside the unit. There is also in-suite laundry. It is very close to the village and ski areas and is located on the Benchlands and bordering the Chateau Whistler Golf Course.

About Us
My wife, son and I booked a ski vacation in February 1995 for a week instead of going to Hawaii. We had such a good time that on the way home we looked at an open house in "The Woods". Soon thereafter, I surprised my wife and bought this unit before construction and we were able to take possession November 1995 just in time for ski season. We enjoyed skiing in the winter and our son took lessons on Blackcomb Mountain. My wife enjoyed the summers and the holidays with our son teaching him how to ski, golf, swim, cycle, kyak and enjoy the long summer days while I was working. I drove up from Vancouver for the weekends and our days were filled with outdoor fun during the day and warm fires in the evenings. During the rainy wet days, we read books or played games in front of the fireplace or visited Meadow Park Community Centre. Meadow Park Community Centre has a lovely Olympic size pool, great fitness centre and ice arena. We enjoyed going out for dinner to the village half the time and eating in the other half. Year round there is something for everyone.
