Loved this Chalet
The owner was great to deal with. The place was very quite, clean and comfortable. We spent two days there with our two dogs. Will stay here again next time we are in Whistler. Very cozy get away, this place suited our needs perfectly.

Staying at the Chalet was a wonderful escape from the city. The huge windows allowed us to watch the snow falling each night as we sat in front of the wood burning stove. Unlike most other rental properties I have stayed at, this place was well stocked with high quality dishes and cooking supplies. The chalet is a short drive to the ski hill, but is also close to the valley trail network.

Christmas in Whistler

We have just stayed in the Chalet over Christmas. On initial arrival we found the Chalet to be very clean and well equipped. The newly laid carpets and new sofas made the place really comfortable. The kitchen has every utensil to hand which made cooking our Christmas dinner a pleasure. The 60" television - wow, enough said. The location is perfect in that you are only a couple of minutes drive from the village and all the activities. We drove from Vancouver and as advised by previous reviewers, stopped in Squamish to purchase our supplies in a supermarket. There is a large Walmart there which is far better value than the supermarket that we used. Our only disappointment during our stay in the Chalet was to find that the lower ground of the property is occupied by a permanent tenant and due to this we were disturbed by her music and general noise from her habitation. Upon booking we understood the Chalet to be detached (which it is) but believed that the property would be for our sole use, which it clearly is not. We appreciate that Chris has no control over the family that occupy the house to the rear but we were disturbed by music and shouting on two nights, one of which went on until 4am.

This place is incredible. My wife and I were hoping to get a place with more personality and comfort than a regular hotel. Chris's chalet exceeded our expectations in every way. First, the chalet was thoroughly clean - nothing was out of place. Second, the chalet was fully stocked from super comfortable towels and bed linens to great dishes and cutlery to all kinds of convenient condiments. Finally, the chalet has a very home like feel with the wood stove and the 60" TV. Chris is great to work with. We will definitely be back.
Exactly what we were looking for!

Our son was in a summer hockey camp at the Meadow Park Sports Centre... 2 minutes away. The rest of us dropped in for swimming & Zumba classes. A 5 minute drive & beautiful 10 minute bike ride to the Village. The near bike path to the Village along the Jack Nicolas golf course & Green Lake is gorgeous! We loved the wifi, large flat screen, and the kids loved the PS3. The chalet location was very quiet and relaxing. The chalet is cozy and very clean. The Owner was helpful and quick to answer all correspondence. Chris provided a list of restaurants, contact #'s, etc... everything you can think of. The only thing I may suggest is a crock pot or slow cooker would be great to start cooking dinners in the morning and come back to the Chalet and eat after a day of adventures.
Large and comfortable Cabin

We stayed in this Cabin for four nights when we visited Whistler in June 2013. It is centrally located, easy access to main road through Whistler and close to Restaurants, shops and Whistler Village. The cabin itself is quite large and modern. Adequate for two people, although we found the bedroom a little on the small side with nowhere to put clothes because drawers were in use and limited hanger space. There was a lot of the Owners equipment and own stuff in the Cabin, which was useful but unsure left little room for our own things! Anyway, that's a minor point. All in all a very nice Cabin. We loved the lounge area with the big TV screen. The sofas were a bit well worn though! One of them seemed to be collapsed and so we opened it out on to a sofa bed and watched TV that way. It was very comfortable then. Our main moan was regarding the girl who lived behind the Cabin who made rather a lot of noise coming and going from her house late at night. Once playing loud music until quite late, but since we were also on holiday, it didn't really bother us. However, if you were there getting up early every day to do activities etc, you may find this irritating. We were surprised that we didn't find a book of information regarding the cabin and area.. or have any contact from the Owner, but this didn't really bother us as everything was ok. Just a little unusual. We've stayed in a lot of other cabins and there's normally a way of contacting the Owner in case of anything.. There were some pamphlets and brochures in the lounge but a few were quite out of date. Nice cabin for the price.

We only stayed here a few nights but we were very happy we did! The chalet is comfortable and well furnished with nice views of the mountains through the adjacent houses. The chalet is in a decent location, although we had a car so I can't say how long it would take to walk to whistler village or how good the public transport is. Overall a great part of our holiday! We loved staying at this chalet. Based about a 5-10 min drive past the village, we thought it was a wonderful location. The home is so cozy and once you enter it, you can feel the warmth. We were told that the kitchen has been updated, and we loved the new granit countertops! We also loved that all amenities and extras were included and supplied. All the herbs for cooking, and if you forgot ketchup and such... no worries! We look forward to going back soon. I think we both agreed that this is one of, if not, the best place we've stayed at. It would be interesting if there were possibilities of getting a hot tub there :)

It is located on 5mins from the village. There is a General Store and The alpine Cafe just down the street. So if you need anything you don't have to go into the Village. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

We had a lovely two night stay in this Chalet. My husband and I slept on the fold out couch (with our 2 month old too - maybe husband ended up (by his choice)on the floor for a bit...) so that our friend could enjoy the bedroom and we could get up early without disturbing her. There was a little 'old' snow around on the ground when we arrived but I was so thrilled to wake up the 2nd morning to a foot thick blanket of snow over everything. Magical for us aussies who aren't used to it. We had fun lighting the fireplace and it really warmed the place up beautifully. I wasn't really planning for us to watch TV but it was so big it felt like a cinema screen which was fun for a treat, though hardly needed in such a beautiful place with so much natural beauty to take in. The kitchen was very well equipped and the whole little place was everything we needed for a little escape... except perhaps for a jacuzzi on the deck... but in lieu of this we enjoyed a lovely deep bath. I like that the chalet is a close drive into the village but a little more secluded as well. The Nesters Market nearby was great for supplies and the owner Chris was really easy to communicate with and helpful in the lead up to and during our stay. Thank you Chris, we would come again for sure!

From the moment we booked we received excellent communication and help from the owner,Chris. The house was easy to find, very comfortable with every amenity we could have wanted. We were able to sit and look out on the mountain through the trees. It suited our needs totally for a visit to Whistler in October. As well as using our car to go to visit places we were also able to walk down to the small store and cafe and from there follow trails to various destinations including the beautiful Green Lake.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the chalet. The views of the snow-capped mountains from the windows and the balcony were quite spectacular. It was lovely to be greeted each morning by a friendly Steller's Jay. The chalet was equipped with all home comforts and was spotlessly clean. We liked the location - close enough to Whistler and local shopping amenities for convenience but distant enough to ensure peace and quiet.I have only one small critism - the sofas were a bit old and uncomfortable. There are a couple of things I would like to mention. First, it was very loud party next door and I woke up at about 2 a.m. because of the noise. I was not sure what to do and whom to call. It was hard to fall asleep 'till 3 a.m. (I think the end of party). Next time I would ask in advance what to do in such case. Second, we found that somebody had access to our space without us being aware of it. We were at the second floor when somebody entered front door and was doing something for about 30 minutes. It would be nice to be warned about time and purpose of the visit. Otherwise it was just great! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the chalet with my husband and our grown son, who lives in Vancouver. We picked the location because it was away from the hustle of the village and it was quiet but only short drive from the village. Our bed was very comfortable with the pillow top mattress. The living room had a wood burning stove but unfortunately no wood was supplied so we could not have a fire. One thing we found lacking was any storage space for our clothes. There was a sort of walking closet in our bedroom with abundance of hangers, but all the drawers of the dresser were full of stuff. The kitchen was very well equipped. When the weather was clear we could see the mountain, which was nice. We would definitely consider coming back.
Hi, I have a small supply of wood at the top of the stairs for convenience but the rest of the wood is under the stairs and I have a large supply delivered yearly, and frequently check to make sure it's not depleted.

We rented this place for a few days while visiting Whistler. Chris was super accomodating with frequent emails, updates and lots of helpful information as to where to eat in Whistler and what to do. He also got some goodies for my husband and had them at the apartment for when we arrived. The apartment was clean, well-stocked and in a great location. We were able to drive (2-5mins) to the Whistler village but then enjoy the quietness of the apartment in the evenings. It was a terrific find and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay outside of the Whistler village. *** it was perfect for a couple...being with more than 2 people might have gotten a little crowded.

Wow, this place is spectacular. We loved it from the moment we drove up. It was so easy to book and the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. The house itself was lovely and very comfortable. Enjoyable stay, very comfortable for two people but could accommodate 4 using fold out couch. Kitchen very well equipped with everything you need. Barbeque on deck usable but finnicky. Close to valley trail so great for walking but a car is mandatory. A nice alternative to a condo.
