Welcome to Snowbird cabin in the Whistler village, after a long day on the slopes , park or courses, come back to relax in your own PRIVTE HOT TUB on the second huge deck overlooking a private courtyard. The new 42 " Suamsung plasma will make for fun movie or game watching. We just purchased all new queen beds for extra comfortable sleep after the great day outside. Once you park your car you won't need it for the duration of your stay. Our home is located one minute from the pedestrian only promenade lined with shops, restaurants , and pubs. Our two bedroom and two bathroom air conditioned unit is almost 1000 sqft. The two rooms are separated by floors for added privacy and you enter through your own private entrance. Your family and friends will sleep well with the location of Snowbird cabin, on the quiet side of the valley trial.

Ski lifts are an easy 8 min walk, or you can take the free shuttle bus. The Valley trail is steps from the front door and the whistler tennis club is right next door. All Village amenities and activities start right across the street , including bank, grocery, liquor store, video store, drug store and a variety of ski/board shops and cafes. There are three golf courses within minutes drive of the complex.

I loved the location of this unit. It is a very short walk to the village, yet it is extremely quiet during the day and night. The secure parking stall was very close to the unit which made unloading our vehicle upon arrival a breeze.
The layout of this unit was perfect for our family's needs. Our adult kids slept upstairs which allowed both my husband and I to get up early and not worry about disrupting their sleep with any noise in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans. The private hot tub on the upper deck was a welcome treat after hiking and biking.
The owner, Steve, was great to deal with. Overall, I would say this was a very good value.View Full Review

Great location, large condo, but the layout is a bit strange. Probably best for a group traveling together. Several light fixtures were out upon check in, just needed bulbs, but that seems like something that should have been addressed. The beds were comfortable, but the couch was not, it is a less comfortable sofa bed than most (that is saying something). The condo is in an excellent location, I love the private hot tub.
They have guests launder their towels upon departure, not a great system as the towels sat in the wash, wet for some time before they were dried as they smelled extremely sour. We had to go to the store and purchase vinegar to get the smell out so we could use the towels.
Some tlc, a few updates and fresh towels, I would stay here again.View Full Review

Great Unit! Fantastic location - quick easy walk to the grocery store, village stroll, and shuttle bus to the ski lifts! Kitchen was well stocked, and the owner was incredible to deal with!! Having a private hot tub was the main reasons why we rented this unit, and not only was it old and the jets didn't work, but it was caked in grime and was absolutely disgusting. There was a soaking wet frozen towel and some empty beer cans there too. Floating crap and who knows what... The owner is friendly. However, he didn't send us the door passcode until we texted to remind him to do so.
Lots of towels, kitchen is ok, parking is close and easy, place is warm and nice. Furniture is old and used, not much room in the common area...but hey, we were there to enjoy the outdoors. I'd recommend and rent the place again based on the owner being easy to deal with, but that hot tub fiasco sure was a bummer.View Full Review

Loved the Snowbird Condo!
Although it was a tad bit tricky to locate the residence (kind of like a scavenger hunt). We were stoked to see that it was exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful location only a few minutes walk to the village and our own private hot tub. The previous reviews of a dirty floor and moldy deck to me now seem like nit picking. Indoors, the condo was very clean and in great condition. The hot tub deck has been used and that is expected. The rest of the building was very quite which made our time very enjoyable.

We really enjoyed staying here. The location is perfect. The check-in process was easy and quick. It's outside the noise of Whistler village, but just right across the street, so immediately accessible. The outside deck off the living room is fantastic. The kitchen was small but had a large choice of appliances. There were 2 bedrooms with plenty of sleeping options. The unit was clean and organized.
The community pool and hot tub was close, clean and very nice. There was plenty of storage and the parking was secure. The only reason I am taking off a star is because the hot tub for the unit had a massive leak and the deck underneath was rotting.
Otherwise great value for the price, and we'd definitely stay here again.View Full Review
Unit OK, security guard a concern

I was a long time owner in Whistler (13 years, having just sold our unit in Town Plaza last year). I always appreciated when guests provided feedback and took their comments seriously. Please view the following comments in that light!
I liked the unit and it was good value for the money. The kitchen was small but adequate and well-stocked with spices, cooking oil, etc. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was in good working order. The air conditioners were old but serviceable and greatly appreciated as we were there over the August long weekend and it was hot. The location was good and the pool was nice.
However, the unit was tired and by that I mean furniture looked and felt shabby, esp. the living room furniture and dining room table. The patio was dirty to the point of being disgusting. Whoever is cleaning your condo needs to pay attention to that part of your unit. When we walked barefoot in the condo our feet were filthy within minutes. I ended up putting shoes on my kids inside the condo because if I didn't their feet were totally grimy by bedtime, even after they just came out of the bath a few minutes before. A deep clean is definitely in order for both the inside and outside of the condo. I also suggest an instruction sheet on how to use the TV/cable. It was somewhat confusing but we figured it out.
There was an incident which I found annoying and quite frankly reduced my recommendation from a 3 star to a 2 star. It had to do with a security guard who worked at Glacier. I accidentally left my cell phone down at the pool on Friday afternoon when I was there with my kids. Apparently there were some hooligans who trashed the pool late Friday night or early Sat. morning. RCMP were called. My phone was found by your security guard after this incident. His brilliant detective work (NOT) led him to the conclusion that somehow I was involved in the break in at the pool since he found the phone after the break in and "it was wet". I told him that obviously the phone had been at the pool at the time of the break in but he was certain it wasn't "since he'd already checked the area and the phone wasn't there BEFORE the incident and was there AFTER." I subsequently was accused of being one of the vandals by said security guard who refused to return my phone without proof I was staying at the unit. I am not comfortable providing any stranger with any information regarding my privacy because I have 3 small kids. For all I know, this guy could have been involved in the incident himself. He was exceedingly rude and obnoxious and instead of returning my phone as I requested, made it necessary for me to contact RCMP myself and go down to their office to retrieve my phone. This all could have been avoided if he'd asked a few simple questions instead of accusing me with several statements such as "I know you were involved in trashing the pool" and "I'm not returning your phone since obviously you had something to do with this." I left you a few messages about this incident, and I am disappointed frankly that my phone calls to you (the owner) weren't returned.View Full Review

A few friends of mine and I decided to head up to Whistler for the weekend and booked the Snowbird Cabin quite last minute. When we arrived we were delighted to find a comfortable place for us to relax with a couple of great patios. (one with a hot tub!) It was a short 5 minute walk to the village and an extremely convenient location. Steven has been very prompt with his responses and I highly recommend this place if you want an affordable home away from home. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked dinner there most nights on the very nice bbq provided. Parking is literally down the stairs from the place which was a nice bonus! I Recommend this townhome to anybody wanting a quite,clean, all the ammenties of home stay in Whistler. My Wife and I enjoyed the Unit very much, the leather coaches and wall mount Flat Screen TV was wonderful. The Private Balcony where the HOT TUB resided was the best I have seen at the Glaciers Reach Complex thus far. Complete privacy, facing a Trail it was wonderful. I have suggested to the Owner that the Jets were not aggressive in terms of the HOT, and he has stated that a new Hot Tub will be going in very soon. This is an excellent place to stay in Whistler village. I stayed in a similar Glaciers Reach condo last year and can't think of a better place to stay. You can't beat this units private hot tub, private grill, 2 full decks and fully stocked kitchen. Its close enough to everything without being cramped up in a tiny unit next to the lifts, but still just s short walk. Everything was as advertised. On top of that, the owner, Steve was very friendly and had no problem fixing the dates on my reservation when I accidentally booked too many days. The unit was nice enough, but there were several issues: 1. By the time we got to Whistler, we still hadn't received the code to get in to the unit. It took an extra hour (an hour past the check-in time) to get the owner to text us the code. An hour spent worrying what we'd do if he didn't get back to us (BTW, AlluraDirect is closed on weekends). 2. It's been 6 weeks and we still haven't received a check for the damage deposit. 3. The "hot" tub was luke warm and we never found the temp. switch. 4. The living room furniture looks good, but the springs are shot, so it isn't very comfortable.View Full Review

My wife and I chose to stay at this rental unit because it is close to town. What we hadn't quite expected was for it to be within walking distance to alot of shops, restaurants and a shopping centre right across the street, which is really convenient for those that want to cook at home. We weren't at all disappointed! The unit itself is a walk up with two patios, one has a private hot tub which seems quite rare in this area, and added to the romantic vacation we had planned. Given that there were only two of us and we chose to stay in the main floor master bedroom, alot of space went unused, including the upstair bedroom with a bunk-bed and bathroom. This unit would be perfect for larger groups or families. In fact we are already planning a trip back with our kids next summer, who will love the close proximity to the bike park. The living room was well equipped with a large screen TV, comfortable leather couches and a fireplace, the kitchen was well stocked, though we didn't cook at home as there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area, the bed was comfortable and the unit was kept very clean My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and found it as comfortable as being in our own home. We highly recommend it to any traveller!

I stayed here with my husband and a couple of our friends for 4 days. The layout of the house is perfect for a larger group as there are two separate bedrooms on different floors. My husband and I chose the bedroom downstairs and were very pleased with the quality of the bed, great sleeps all around. The upstairs bedroom is located next to the private hot tub, our friends took a few late night dips which was one of the benefits in staying upstairs. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there is a grocery store just across the street. We cooked dinners at home and had access to everything necessary to cook with. The entertaining space was perfect for socializing, and is equipped with a big screen TV (though we didn't use it), movies and comfortable couches for lounging. The only setback of staying here, was a small issue with the dishwasher (it wasn't draining properly). However, the owner had a technician come in and fix it shortly after we made it known. I would definitely recommend this condo for any sort of group rental. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Village (shops, restaurants, etc.), hiking, bike park... pretty much everything Whislter has to offer!

My family and I stayed here over the Christmas break, it was awesome. The condo is nicely split into two levels so the kids could have their own space in the upstairs room. The T.V. in the main room had so many channels to keep them entertained. The Wifi worked perfect and there was a great D.V.D's selection already there to be watched. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, although we ate out quite a few times. The condo is walking distance to the village (great restaurants), and steps away to the grocery store. There is a hot tub to relax in after a long day on the slopes. The parking was very convenient and underground. This is a fantastic suite, nicely decorated and perfect location, we will stay here again.

My fiance and I rented the place with another couple. We had a great time playing charades in the spacious entertainment area, and also both felt that we could have our own bit of privacy with the two well-equipped bedrooms. We chose the upstairs one cause it was right next to the outdoor hottub (latenight dips every night!!!). And just a short jaunt to all amenities, the hill, and restaurants etc. Thanks so much Snowbird for a perfect weekend:)
