Property Description

Main Floor: Covered front entry with carport and single garage, entrance lobby leading to hallway with powder room, modern well equipped kitchen overlooking grand dining table framed by large peeled-cedar log posts, living room with vaulted ceilings and large slate rock fireplace with picture windows offering views of the valley lakes below and surrounding mountains, deck off living room with BBQ. Upper floor: Master bedroom with king bed, a spacious en-suite bathroom with heated floor, walk in closet, double sink, jetted tub and separate shower stall. Loft office desk with wireless Internet. Lower floor: Bedroom with queen sleigh bed and en-suite bathroom with heated tile floor, bedroom with bunk and twin, bedroom with twin/ double bunk bed, full bathroom with heated tile floor, washer/dryer, deck with hot tub in forested setting.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days We accept arrivals on any day of the week!.
Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable unless we can replace your reservation. We will refund your money or part of it if we can replace your booking at the same amount of the gross rent for the complete booking that you made; all cancellation refunds are subject to a 10% cancellation fee of the original booking.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We will hold your booking until you arrive. Your stay can only be extended for an extra cost and availability.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Code and directions will be provided at check in.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by due dates will result in automatic cancellation. We will refund your money if we can replace your booking; refunds are at the re-booked rate & based on the number of nights re-booked; all cancellation refunds are subject to a 10% cancellation fee of the total value of the booking.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation,please note that your deposit calculated on the original amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance, then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise You will be evicted without a refund.
Housekeeping Clean on arrival; cleaned after departure; once on the 7th day if staying 14 days or longer.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies Contact check in office.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 10 persons overnight - excess occupants will result in eviction.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items as per my stated damage deposit policies.
Noise Restrictions Excessive noise from the unit is not permitted. Occupants may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for damages resulting from the noise complaints as well as fines imposed by the Strata or authorities and the cost of security services.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice.
Property Damage Guest assumes all financial responsibility for property damage incurred by tenants or guest of tenants. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges*, lost or broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property or occupant's behaviour while in the property or on common premises. * Housekeeping - guests are expected to leave the property in a reasonably tidy condition including placing all dishes in dishwasher, and garbage should be placed in the bin in the garbage shed.

Whooooooaaaaaaa is that a bear?

We were a family of five from London joining up with my brother-in-law (family of four) from Miami. The house was perfect for hosting the nine of us. It is located in a nice development, on a mountainside (with beautiful views from the ouside wrap-around deck) on the outskirts of Whistler (3 mins drive to village).

Whistler itself is beautiful - whether making use of the chairlifts/gondola, doing some cycling, mountain biking, rafting or horse riding. The house is comfortably furnished. The hot tub and BBQ worked well. The cooking utensils and crockery could be better invested - this is an easy and inexpensive win for the owner - they should make that investment. Everything else was brilliant.

One evening, a bear even came to visit, which we could watch from very close proximity (15 yards) from the deck. It will be a talking point when the two families get together for years to come.

We had a super time and I would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone. It was great value in a beautiful location. Having morning coffee on the deck is a great way to wake up.

Our family spent Christmas in this lovely home in Taluswood very near Whistler B. C. The place is situated in a beautiful wooded area and comfortably housed 10 of us for three nights. Half of us skied while the rest enjoyed cooking and preparing for our Christmas festivities. And, the skiing was fabulous! I highly recommend this home for your winter vacation.

Comfortable home with a fantastic master bedroom and ensuite! Great place with a large group. We liked the large dining room table that could accommodate all members in our group. The only think we would have liked is if the carpets were cleaner otherwise great place.

This townhouse if beautiful and well equiped. The location is very convenient, close to creekside and with ski-in/ski-out nearby. The place was clean and everyone had a great time. We also enjoyed a nice hot tub after a great day of skiing. Thanks so much!

The location and house was very nice and we all enjoyed our stay. The heated floors were a nice treat in the morning and the walk to and from the slopes was minimal. The one thing that we thought was a little odd was that the check in person did not know about extra parking and had us call when we were trying to hint at her to call since it was international for us. Also, we appreciated the bag of whistler coffee left for us as we had forgotten ours but were saddened when we woke up and found there was no grinder for it. .

A group of 9 of us stayed here over the us Thanksgiving holiday weekend in November 2010. We had an excellent time, due in no small part to the quality of the lodging. The kitchen was fully equipped with ample silverware, bowls, glasses, pots, measuring spoons, tupperware, etc. which came in handy since we cooked huge meals for two of the nights of our stay. The bathrooms were also well equipped (ample towels, soap, shampoo, etc) which is a welcome change -- many other Whistler properties we have rented have neglected these things that are invaluable to out-of-country guests. The house met and exceeded our expectations of a hotel-quality experience with the benefits of a private residence. There were many other nice touches: a large, modern hot tub, a house-wide stereo system controlled centrally from the family room, parking space for 4 cars (2 covered, 2 uncovered), etc. The only downsides were: 1) The nightly price was higher than a lot of other places we looked at; however, the quality was a notch higher all around and worth the extra cost. 2) The location is a bit of a drive from the main village. In theory, the place is ski-in-ski-out, but you need mid or late-season coverage for this to be useful without damaging your skis (otherwise it's a very long walk)

The home is most comfortable, clean and is easy to come in and out of the home. It is a ski in ski out, which makes is even more desiarable. 5 minuts drive to the grocery store and the beer and wine store. I give it 5 stars all around and will deffinetely stay there again. Enjoy your stay

Welcomed when we arrived, had one of the best fantastic houses I have ever stayed in. It was like being at luxury home - specious, very well furnished, clean and cozy. The living room is spectacular with comfortable sofas next to the fire place. We had great sleep on super comfortable beds. We made breakfast in the big kitchen each morning and all family and friends was seating in amazing dining room with view to the mountains. It was great recommendation for walking tours and restaurants. Also, the location of the house is perfect for skiing. I love skiing!!! Must to back on Winter again! We will definitely coming back!!!
