Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Cleaning Costs||Excessive cleaning costs as determined by our cleaning company will result in an extra charge to your credit card.|
|Excessive Noise||Excessively noisy guests will be evicted immediately WITH ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS. We restrict rental of this property to families and mature guests to avoid this situation.|

Great place, very conveniently located. It is indeed better staying in the upper village because it's only a 5 min walk into the main village. Gotta love walking downstairs to Legs Diamond (5 star dinner) and buying wine in the liquor store without leaving the building! Wonderful condo in Whislter

We spent a wonderful 7 nights at this property at Glacier Lodge and would recommend this property. The owners were very responsive to our enquiries, and the concierge service provided was an added bonus. The place felt spacious given the vaulted ceilings, however we did find that the online pictures made the living room seem visually a bit wider than it actually is. It is however very spacious and comfortable.
The furniture was comfortable and in great condition with lots of seating. If you are visiting in the summer and are sensitive to bright light when sleeping, then you may wish to bring a sleeping mask as the upper windows in the vaulted ceiling are not provided with window coverings and it can be bright. If you are skiing then this is not going to be an issue.
This area of Whistler (Upper Blackcomb) is very quiet in the evening relative to a condo in the main whistler village (where we have stayed before). Access to amenities such as coffee and bakery and a small market across the street, and cold beer and wine store on ground level are nice. if you are skiing, this also would be a great place given its close proximity to the lift lines. We walked to the main whistler village in a short time (5-7 minutes) and did not have a need to use our car.
The swimming pool is one of the larger ones in Whistler with two hot tubs. We found them to be nice and clean.
Do note that the secure parking is an additional $15/night on top of the accommodation fee. This is mentioned in the details, but we missed it in our quick read. There is free parking in a public lot but that is not secure and it is a walk from the condo.

Darcy, Our stay in your accommodation was everything we wanted for our 21 day stay in Whistler Blackcomb. It was like staying in our own home within our dream resort. Everything we needed to be self contained was included in the accommodation package. Great location with its close proximity to the chair lifts,retail stores and general store.
Thank you for letting us share a bit of your paradise. PS: The children were over the moon when they walked into the Condo and saw the Xmas tree you organised for us. Thank you for assisting in making our Christmas Day complete.

My husband & I spend 10 relaxing days as this well cared for condo in the heart of the Upper Village.
Darcy, the owner, was extremely helpful in setting up our reservation and adjusting for us it when our plans changed.
We found the condo to be very comfortable and well-equipped. The furnishings were comfortable, the kitchen did not lack for anything and the showers had great water pressure.
It was great to be able to walk to the Village and not have to drive everywhere. We loved the Lost Lake trails for hiking and biking and it was great to be so close to those trails. I'm sure they are great in the winter for Cross Country skiing and show shoeing.
The front desk personnel were always available and very friendly and professional too.
We would highly recommend this rental unit to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway to Whistler.View Full Review

Exactly as described, clean, well equipped, well decorated with comfortable furniture and beds. Great that loft can be closed off from below with wooden shutters and that there were two full bathrooms for this size of unit. 3rd floor so has extra windows and light.
We had Thanksgiving here with 8 people and there was tons of room. Loved that the Whistler Market was right outside the door! Darcy great to work with. Would stay her again and recommend.View Full Review

We loved our stay at Darcy and Jane's condo. The space was perfect for our family of 4. Darcy was always quick to respond to any and all questions or concerns. The location was fantastic for ease of activity. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and provided many grocery staples.

We were a group of 4 guys in whistler for 3 weeks of biking. The apartment was good size for us, its modern and well equipped. The bed in the master bedroom is huge and very comfortable. The 2 beds in the loft were also good, however in July it was quite hot and the guys needed a fan to cool it down.
The barbeque on the balcony was great. Glacier lodge has secure bike storage, and nice communal pool and spa. The village is only a short 5 min walk away. We would book it again if we come back.View Full Review

This condo was wonderful. It was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped and suited our needs for cooking meals, as my friends and I, all like to cook. It was also a great location, as we were just steps away from the Wizard Chair at the base of Blackcomb and about a 10 minute walk to Whistler Village. Glacier Lodge also had a rental ski shop on the main floor which came in handy for my 2 friends who needed to rent equipment. We were also able to store our skis with them at the end of day. We also enjoyed being across from the Chateau Fairmont Whistler and treating ourselves to a cocktail in the Mallard Lounge after great day of skiing! They have quite an extensive menu of cocktails that we were quite unique! The owners were very accommodating, helpful and easy to deal with. They quickly responded to any inquires we had. Thank you Darcy - we really enjoyed our stay!

To begin with, it was a pleasure to deal with the owners during the planning stages and they responded very promptly to all of our questions. We arrived about 20 minutes early and the cleaning crew was still there and we were not able to get into the unit until about 1/2 hour after check-in time. That is the only problem we had, though. While the unit was a little smaller than it appeared in the photos, it was quite comfortable for the 4 of us (two couples) and the furnishings, kitchen and bathrooms were all updated and in good condition. The loft felt totally private for a situation like ours with two couples and, while the 2nd full bathroom was on the 1st floor, it wasn't any problem. We all really enjoyed the heated floors in the bathrooms! The kitchen was fully stocked so we were easily able to have our breakfasts and prepare a few dinners in the unit. Also convenient was the unit's close location to the lift and access to the ski shop right in the Glacier Lodge building. The lodge's hot tub was being repaired our first day there but we thoroughly enjoyed it the following day. I did a lot of research on available condos and, for the money, location and amenities, we were very pleased with our stay here and would highly recommend it. The fact that we got here just after the resort received several feet of snow and the sun was blazing 2 of the 3 days we skied didn't hurt either. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Very comfortable, spacious, clean and beautifully furnished apartment. Views of the mountain and very close to Blackcomb lifts - 2 min walk. Potential to ski home if enough snow. Easy walk to whistler village - about 10 min. Great place to stay. Owners Darcy and Jane very helpful with booking and Shirley the concierge was very helpful in organizing lift tickets, ski hire and transport prior to our stay and was available to help with any issues during our stay.

Very much enjoyed Darcy and Jane's beautiful condo. Perfect location, very comfortable, nice light, and convenient walking to Blackcomb base lifts and Whistler Village for apres. We'd love to come back. Darcy was very quick with answers to questions on availability and amenities, etc. Also, we used Shirley's concierge service to have snacks waiting in the fridge before we arrived, which was great (thanks, Shirley!). Overall, fantastic stay. Highly recommend.

As a family of 5 (3 teenage children) we found this unit to be a perfect match for us. It was a good size and was certainly well equipped with everything you'd need whilst away on holidays. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a kitchen that was fitted out with all that you'd utilise in your own kitchen (back home) so it was easy to stay in and cook on the nights we didn't go out to eat. The complex had great facilities that were well kept and it was very convenient being able to store our rental skis downstairs. A nice easy stroll to the lifts every day to go skiing without having to worry about any cars was also a plus. Our only negative was the internet connection ... without fail it would crash in the complex everyday around 4:30pm (when we presume everyone got back from being on the slopes for the day) and quite often would not be back up and running till around 10:00am the next day (again, when everyone had hit the slopes for the day)! Even the staff were complaining about it - is very hard to communicate with people overseas in a different time zone when this happens. Wouldn't be a problem if you are not relying on it. Apart from this, it's fantastic :) Just one more minor point ... the concierge attached to this apartment was fantastic and organised everything for us that we required, even a Christmas tree set up in the apartment without any hassles ... awesome job! Just to let you know that maybe the cleaners should sweep out under the beds etc as there was quite a lot of dust etc there xx

Enjoyed our stay here. This is our 8th year returning to Whistler. We've stayed at many hotels (Four Seasons, Sundial,etc) and condos (Aspens, etc) in the past. We find the Glacier Lodge is the best value. Location is perfect. Hot tubs are great. The unit is perfect for a family of 4. Kitchen had everything we needed. Appreciated concierge help with lift tickets which were on the counter when we arrived. Also like that affinity sports is right downstairs for rental gear and board storage; so easy! Enjoyed the heated bathroom floors. Most of our time was spent on the mountain or in the village but this was the perfect refuge!

We came as newlyweds with 3 kids and father-in-law. Location is just great, right at the end of Upper Village. Ammenities are also great, pool and hot tubs are well kept, beautiful lounge. Good value for the money though. The 1 BR + loft was a dream for us, we loved everything, linens, bathrooms, 3 TV sets, BBQ, kitchen had all you need. Kids loved it too and our Romanian father-in-law was very impressed. Darcy was very prompt in solving rental period and payment went through quite easy.Thank you, Darcy and Jane, we "will be back" for sure ...

Our family of 5 (17 year old boy, 15 year old boy and 14 year old daughter) stayed for 8 nights in January as a part of a 4 week holiday through the USa and Canada. I would have to say that this apartment was by far the best accommodation we stayed in on the whole trip. We stayed at Blackcomb with 2 other families who also stayed in Glacier Lodge and our room was voted the best by far. We booked through allura Direct and had no problems at all. It was easy and safe to use and we received great discounts on ski tickets, ski hire and bus transportation to Vancouver. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and the bedding for everyone was very comfortable. Even the sofabed our very fussy son slept on was comfortable (and lets face it most sofabeds are just dreadful). The king size bed in the main bedroom was heavenly. The kitchen had plenty of crockery and glasses and everything else we needed to prepare meals. Even though we had booked directly, the reception staff were more than happy to answer our questions. Location was just a short walk to the Wizard Express Chair and across the road from the free shuttle bus to Whistler Village. Will be staying here again on our next visit!

We are a group of six friends that went up to Whistler for a week of skiing, and relaxing before the holidays. This house was perfect for our needs! Right from the beginning to finding the house, and contacting Darcy, I had an enjoyable experience. On arrival, the house was exactly as we had pictured it, and the pictures are very representative of the state of the house. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking, the beds are very comfortable, and the pool deck was definitely well used by our group and a highlight! The location couldn't be better, the option to ski out was really convenient, and the village is a short 7 minute walk, or you can access the local bus right outside your door. Loved this house, and would definitely recommend it for a small group looking for a Whistler getaway!
