Welcome to the "Teddy Bear Suite". This is my families private suite which has been decorated with Teddy Bears and numerous hand-made crafts and pictures. We proudly offer our suite to you and your family to enjoy. Located Slopeside on Blackcomb, this ground level, two bedroom suite has a quiet, private view of the forest and greenbelt. It has a large partially covered patio with a table, chairs and barbeque grill, and the solitude of your own private back yard. It is located very near to the lobby, so it is just a short trip to the pool and hot tubs. This is true ski in/ski out. This two bedroom suite provides a fully-equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, sleeping for 6, extra large private patio, new comfortable over-stuffed living room furniture, large 42" flat screen HDTV in the living room and 32" HDTV in both bedrooms with Blu-ray/DVD/CD players, FREE wireless internet, private security safe in suite and many other upgrades. Living Room Gas fireplace and 42inch flat screen Television with Blu-ray player and wireles internet. This suite has a very large deck off the living room, and faces into the quiet, private, peaceful forest. This suite has the largest patio of any unit in the building. The patio has table and chair and barbeque grill.
Large solid wood Kitchen table awaits your family meal. Table sits 6, there are 6 chairs, and 2 extra leaves stored under the beds. You can also use the deck chairs for extra guests.
Living room with all new furniture. Couch is a sofa bed with a built in air mattress. Coffee table is a trunk filled with games.
Full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, range, oven, fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle, blender, crock pot, rice cooker, large wok, and new dishes and cookware.

Our "Teddy Bear Suite' is located on the ground floor, near the snow, so there are no hassles with stairs or elevators. When you enter our suite, the kitchen is on the left side and the dining area and living room are straight ahead. The living room has a sliding glass door to the covered private patio that has a table and chairs and barbeque grill. Our patio is twice the size of all the other suites in the building, and is half covered to protect you from the weather. On the left side of the living room is the master bedroom with a king size bed and a private bath with deep soaking tub. On the right side of the entry is another bath with an extra large shower and a second bedroom with two extra-long twin beds. There is a queen size sleep sofa in the living room with a built in air mattress, so it is very confortable. Suite sleeps 6 people. There is a 42" HDTV in the living room with Blu-ray/DVD/CD player and a 32" HDTV in each bedroom with CD player. There is a personal safe in the master closet to protect your valuables and it is large enough to store a 17" laptop. There are games and puzzles in the living room trunk. Warm comfortable living room with NEW sleeper sofa and large chair. Sofa bed has built in air mattress, so it's as comfortable as a normal bed. Gas fireplace with hooks below the mantel so you can hang up your wet hats and gloves. There are 2 reading lamps, cable tv on a 42" LCD high definition TV, Blu-ray DVD/CD Player and a Nintendo game with games. Wood floors and fresh paint. We have decorated this room with Teddy Bears and many personal hand-crafted items made by family members. Enjoy the colorful decorations and the warm ambiance. There is a sliding glass door which leads to the private, covered patio with a view of the courtyard and the surrounding mountains.

Our "Teddy B ear Suite' is located in the Aspens on Blackcomb, which is slopeside at the base of the main chair of Blackcomb mountain. It is one of the best locations in Whistler. The Aspens is a "U" shaped building with a large courtyard that contains a year-around heated outdoor pool and 3 hot tubs. At the opening of the courtyard is the Blackcomb ski slope, you can ski directly from the courtyard. After the day's skiing, just ski into the courtyard and hand your skis to the complimentary ski valet for over night storage and/or waxing. The Aspens is located on the benchlands of Blackcomb which is a quiet family area away from the noise of the village and the night life. If you want to enjoy the activies of Whistler village, it is just a 5 minute walk or you can take the free shuttle. Our suite is located on the ground floor and faces into the quiet, peaceful forest.

Suitability & Eligibility Policies
|Adults - Min Age to Stay: 25||At least one member of the party booking & staying in this property must be 25 years of age or older. Violations of this policy (without owner approval) will result in eviction. Evicted guests will NOT be entitled to refunds.|
|Non-Smokers Only||No smoking in the suite. Absolutely no smoking in the suite, if the housekeeper dedects any inside smoking, you will be charged for additional cleaning services|
|Travel Reseller Bookings - no Referral Fee offered||We gratefully accept & invite travel re-seller, tour operator and 3rd party bookings. We do not pay a commission on the posted rate. Please invoice the Guest directly and independently to include your fee.|

Reservation & Cancellation Policies
|Arrival Days||Guests can arrive on any day of the week. There are no arrival days restrictions.|
|Cancellations Made by Guests||Cancellations at any time are subject to a minimum $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 45 days of arrival will result in loss of reservation deposit and possibly loss of entire amount. If reservation is cancelled 45 days or more prior to arrival, then refunds will be limited to the amount paid less a 5% cancellation fee or $50 (which ever is more). If reservation is cancelled less than 45 days prior to arrival, every attempt will be made to reschedule the suite with another guest. For nights that we are able to reschedule with another guest, we will refund the amount that the replacement guest paid less 5% cancellation fee. Payment for nights that we are not able to reschedule with another guest, will not be refunded. Refunds will be limited to the revenue that was secured from the replacement guests, and will be sent after the arrival date. Cancellations for any reason are subject to the same refund policy.|

|Guest Account Termination||The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site|
|Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal||The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses|
|Late Reservation Payments||Please call if payments are going to be late. Late payments might result in cancellation of reservation and loss of deposit.|
|Privacy||The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Guests also agree to not use Owner or Contact personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Owners and their Contact.|
|Property Sale||All bookings will be preserved in the event of a property sale. If the booking is not preserved by the new Owners, the new Owners will be contractually bound to move your booking at their expense.|
|Reservation Changes||Reservations can be changed based on our cancellation policies.|
Guest Stay Policies
|Bike Storage||Please do not take bikes into the suite. Please check with the front desk for the location of the bike storage facilities. Bikes are NOT permitted in the building.|
|Check-In Time||4:00 pm. Door combination code will activate shortly before this check-in time, there is no access to the suite until the door code activates.|
|Check-Out Time||11:00 am. Door combination code will de-activate shortly after this check-out time and access to the suite will be denied.|
|Complaints Concerning Property||Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Cleaning Costs||Guest is responsible for paying excessive cleaning costs stemming from extraordinary cleaning above the standard typical Guest stay. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.|
|Excessive Noise||This is a family-oriented, quiet development. Noise complaints may result in eviction by local police or security personnel. Evicted guests will NOT be entitled to refunds.|
|Garbage Removal||Please remove garbage from suite. Garbage room is located in small building outside the front door of the Aspens, the front desk can direct you to this location.|
|Housekeeping||No housekeeping is provided during your stay. Cleaning after departure is included. Housekeeping during your visit can be arranged for a fee|
|Internet Availability & Usage||Free internet is provided in the room. This is provided from Shaw cable who maintains this service. The user id and password are included in the instruction book located in the condo. Any issues with the internet should be directed to Shaw Cable.|
|Liability||The Guest doing the booking is responsible and liable for all damages for ensuring that these policies are respected and adhered to. Guest releases property owners from liability for theft or injury while in transit to the property, in the property,or on resort lands|
|Locking Door||Instructions for the door lock is provided via email approximately 2 weeks before arrival, including instructions on how to customize the code. The door automatically locks when you leave the suite. If you get locked out, please do not expect immediate response, it might take some time for someone to come to your rescue, please be patient.|
|Maintenance Emergencies||24 hour front desk.|
|Maximum Sleeping Capacity||6 overnight people, excessive occupants (without owner approval) will result in eviction. Evicted guests will NOT be entitled to refunds.|
|Missing Items||Guests will assume costs of replacing items that are missing upon the Guest departure.|
|Noise Restrictions||Disturbing neighboring residents is prohibited. Fines will be levied on the spot to Guests who are disturbing the peace. Guests may also be evicted from the premise by the strata security company. Guests are also responsible for fines levied agains the Owner as result of noise bylaw infringements by the Guest. Normal conversation pitch is accepted. Continued screaming, yelling and/or swearing is not. The Owner will not refund evicted Guests.|

We are a skiing family. Our children have been skiing since they were very young, and they love the variety of Whistler and the activities of the village. Everything was exactly as described. A warm, comfortable family home. Arrival went without incident, the condo was warm and clean. The kitchen was well appointed amend the beds were comfortable. Easy to get on the slopes in the morning and convenient ski valet to take your gear at the end of the day. Would definitely stay again.
The kettle does need to be replaced as the switch is broken but it was easy enough to boil water on the stovetop so not a huge deal.View Full Review

The location is great and the amenities are mostly good. But we had a major problem with the room: there was dog hair everywhere. This was quite surprising to us because the info on Allura and in the materials sent to us by the owners stressed with exclamation marks that no pets are allowed. But it turns out that the owners are allowed to have pets, and in this case the owners let some relatives bring their dogs. A big problem for us because my wife is allergic to dogs and asthmatic.
We called Judy Herrera right away and her response was "I don't guaranty that the room is non-allergenic." No apology whatsoever. She just told us to contact cleaning staff on our own. Never even checked back with us.
A smaller problem was that we could not get a DVD to run on any of the TVs. The instructions included such helpful tips as "you may have to reprogram the remote."
Clearly these owners are "hands off." Don't expect any assistance from them.View Full Review Owner Has Responded

I would highly recommend the owner having a stash of the most essential condiments, like sugar, salt, cooking oil, olive oil ,etc so that guest after guest can enjoy more ease in cooking. Even I as a guest was coulld have left some condiments, like tea and other things but it was prohibited in the manual.View Full Review

Thanks, all went great. I appreciate the nice condo and good value. Four of us there were very comfortable. 2 things that should be mentioned in addition to the other comments made. On the stove there's a mal-functioning "ON" light. It was on, from the time we checked in, till we left. It didn't affect the function of the stove (which we used, just fine). But it should be fixed, or a note posted to disregard it.
Next - the parking fees at the Aspens are MUCH higher than in the condo description. And this is for low season. Anyway, we still liked everything about it, and all the rest of the description and pics are great. We'd recommend it... and would definitely stay here again. THANKS !!View Full Review

Two couples stayed for the long August weekend for four nights. The suite was cool at night since it was on the ground floor. Located at the back of the building, it was quiet and private. We cooked in a couple of nights and the kitchen was equipped with all necessities.
We have stayed at the Aspens before and like the bike lock up and secure parking. It is a close walk to restaurants locally. The pool and hot tubs are great too! We would stay again in this suite.View Full Review

Love the location. Facilities are nice, and the King and twin beds were comfortable. There is one cupboard door in the kitchen that is coming loose, the kitchen sink faucet is getting loose too, the screen door to back porch is not operational (but it was cold and snowing so we didn't want to use it anyway) and the air mattress that is suggested for use on the sofa sleeper has a broken valve - can't hold air.View Full Review

The door to the master bedrm will not stay open and the ensuite bathroom door will not close. It looks like the latch/bolt have to be physically adjusted. Ski in and out was impossible because of the conditions but other than the above issues we had a good time.View Full Review

Love the Aspens! The two bedroom unit was perfect for our family of four; The bedroom for the kids, the full kitchen, large dinning room table, comfy seating in the living room, comfortable beds, two bathrooms, free wifi, lots of space. Even though the weather was poor while we were there, we still enjoyed the pool and hot tubs every day. The only reason I give the amenities a 3 is that I would recommend a new screen door to the porch (falling apart), screens that fit the windows better and we wished the hot tub by the pool was functional (hasn't worked the last two years I've been there). All in all a great place and great location. Ready to head back to Whistler already!View Full Review
