The heart of our home, this well designed, spacious kitchen is easy to move around in. Gas cook top on the island and large state of the art oven in the wall makes cooking for large groups easy. Granite counters, lots of cupboards including large pantry and slate floors are very appealing The wet bar is off to the side makes entertaining easy.

Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract We do not require a signed Guest stay contract. When you book online, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guest Stay Policies

Amenity Terms of Use Please respect all private and common amenities of the property. Damage or excessive cleaning to any amenity will be charged to the Guest responsible.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Standard departure cleaning is complimentary . Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.
Excessive Noise Complaints of excessive noise will result in eviction without refund!. Please be considerate of your neighbours
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible for garbage removal at the time of departure.
Housekeeping Cleaning after departure is included. Guests staying 10 to 20 nights receive a complimentary change of towels and bed sheets mid way thru the stay. Guests staying 21 nights or more receive a complimentary change of towels and bed sheets every 7th day. Additional housekeeping can be arranged for a fee.
Internet Availability & Usage Internet service is provided by a third party. We cannot be held responsible if there is a lack of or quality of service at any time.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Big White Ski Resort.
Maintenance Emergencies In resort support provided. Complete emergency contacts provided for booked guests.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 12 people. Additional persons will result in immediate eviction
Missing Items Guests authorize credit card charge for replacement of missing items. When applicable, we will discuss additional charges directly with you, after which your credit card will be charged for the cost of damage or missing items.
Noise Restrictions Quiet time is 11:00pm to 7:00am. Guests may be evicted subsequent to noise complaints and will be charged for any damages resulting form the noise complaints. The outdoor hot tub area may be used after 11:00pm, but please engage only in quiet conversation after 11:00pm out of respect for our neighbouring guests.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice, however guests will be notified via e-mail of changes prior to their arrival.
Property Damage Guests authorize credit card charge for actual damages. When applicable, we will discuss additional charges directly with you, after which your credit card will be charged for the cost of damage or missing items.
Rental Accommodation Zoning This property is legally zoned for either short term, or long term, rental accommodation use.

Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Secure equipment storage is available in the ski locker and Garage. Please do not bring equipment into the chalet.
Terms of Eviction The following conditions and circumstances will result in eviction from our property: smoking, excessive noise, pets, more overnight guests than permitted by owner will result in eviction. You will be evicted for excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace.

Great experience. Very clean. Excellent location - proximity to village and ease of ski in, ski out were fantastic, including for small children. Spacious and comfortable for two families. Great value. Absolutely would stay again and recommend to others.

just as good or better than last year, lots of room for 8-10 people if you share sleeping spaces, a tight squeeze into the garage with a large truck, the entrance dry room area for skis and boots is a bit cramped for a large party of 8 or more, the few things of concern from last year were dealt with, a big overhanging cornice above the outside stairs was a safety concern, a great view from the hot tub, clean and tidy and everything worked except they need to replace the back door handle and lockset which is broken, however we will return again for a 4th year and hope it's fixed by then .

The Bauhinia Chalet was perfect! Its has a very large kitchen and living area with lots of room for everyone. We had 10 people and it did not feel crowded at all! Its is very modern and comfortable with everything you need and more! Perfect ski in/out location and very short walk to the village. There are large windows in the living room and main bedroom which makes enjoying the view and location even easier. AMAZING value for money! We didn't want to leave and hope that we can return one day. Would 100% recommend to everyone!!

Great place - Second time there and will likely return. Wendy is very responsive if anything comes up. The jacuzzi maintenance man walks in every couple of days unannounced. As some members of our group were home during the day, I would prefer if he knocked first. An excellent family holiday overall.

Really great stay. We come every year and would use this accommodation again. Hot tub is a great size. Kitchen and living space have lots of room. A few small negatives include the light to the basement hall being connected to the downstairs den. If using this as a bedroom it's hard to sleep in if you're not skiing that day. And that there is no bathroom on the main floor is a little annoying. I guess just more excersice for us! See you next year :)

We had an amazing stay here, overall everything was what you hope for when booking a vacation online. Location is great, if you're walking up to the village/gondola it is 5-10 minutes all uphill, but easy on a groomed trail. The view from the living room, master suite, and hot tub is second to none, watching the fireworks on Saturday night from the hot tub was a special moment. Very spacious, beautiful kitchen. We had 3 vehicles in the garage, including a 4 door short box pick up truck, but in doing so you lose the use of the storage lockers. Not much for driveway parking, and road parking is prohibited. If there was anything I had to say that needed improvement about this place it would be the extra slow draining bathtub in the master room, the bathrooms are a little dated for such a gorgeous residence, and the lack of a bathroom on the main floor. Also the booking process and not being able to check in until 4pm but having to be out by 10am is a little frustrating. All in all very happy with our stay, would go back and would recommend to anyone.

We had a great weekend, the chalet had everything we needed. After we arrived we couldn't find the bedding for the hide -a- beds, but after a quick call to housekeeping, they came by and dropped them off. They we surprisingly comfortable!

The ski in/out was good, we had no problem getting back after happy hour at Sessions. Just a "quick " ride up the plaza chair and your back home! I would definitely rent this chalet again.

Second year there, great ski in'out location, hot tub fits 4-6 adults with a good view and clear sight line to the big screen tv in the living room; clean, comfortable and spacey but not fancy, new mattress on the pullout downstairs but the frame springs still broken so it might be better to put mattress on the floor, lots of bedding, dishwasher finicky to start and sometimes didn't totally drain and left an " of water in the base, bbq seemed to only operate on high temp so maybe needs a cleanup, cheap garbage bags for under the sink were a nuisance when cleaning up after meals.

Didn't need to use any of the extra utensils we took, but if you have a favourite big knife for cutting/ cooking take it with you, and some condiments and kitchen extras were provided (S/P/sugar, tin foil, etc). Lots of dishes and glasses to handle 10 guests. A bit of a concern with a leak in the roof above the main bdrm onsuite, should be dealt with sooner than later this spring.

We will return next year if our group size doesn't outgrow the space.

Big White Ski Trip, February 2016

We had an amazing time at Big White for our week long holiday. This was our second visit to Big White and the Bauhinia Chalet was a far better accommodation choice and in a much better location than where we stayed on our first visit two years ago. We loved that we could stay with another family and not feel like we were in each other's way.

The house was perfectly positioned alongside the Happy Valley Trail, allowing us to ski down to the gondola with each outing. Our teenage kids very much enjoyed the freedom of coming and going as needed, and as parents, we were comforted knowing they could easily gain access to the house on their return.

The house was truly amazing. It was large enough to comfortably fit the nine of us in our party, and there was room for more if needed. We loved the open plan living area, which allowed us to interact with ease. The kitchen in particular was a great size easily fitting several people at one time, and the lounge area provided ample seating for all to sit comfortably. The beds were great as was the hot tub, both of which provided us with that much needed relaxation after a day of skiing and snowboarding.

We had a wonderful week. The whole process from booking to the stay was easy. The staff were very helpful and accommodated our needs, ensuring we had what we needed for our holiday.

We recommend the Bauhinia Chalet to anyone wanting a fun filled ski or snowboarding holiday. Should we return to Big White for another visit, we will book the Bauhinia Chalet again.

We have stayed at this place for a third year in a row. Excellent location. Would like to come back next year. The only complaint we have is about 'sofa-bed' in downstairs den. It's been in very bad shape for last two years: broken and missing springs, very very uncomfortable, some of us had actually slept on the floor instead on so called sofa bed. It would be nice if this piece of furniture could be replaced / renewed. Other than that we recommend this property as one of the best in Big White. For sure we'll try and book it next year.

Clean and spacious, large cooking, dining and relaxing area dominate the main floor, comfortable leather couches (1 a pullout that we didn't try) and a good tv; bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, not fancy but comfortable, dishwasher poorly designed and somewhat annoying in that it doesn't 'fit' the dishes / glasses but it does clean them, not my 'grandmothers china' and utensils but it is a rental property, we didn't lack for anything but take any extra's or specific utensils/pots you might need with you just in case, no microwave or griddle, prompt replacement of the broken coffee maker saved the stay; garage space for 3 vehicles but tight and doesn't fit an extended cab pu without leaving door open, which you're not supposed to do; not a lot of space at entry for ski/boot storage for a large party (we were 8), downstairs pullout/ mattress a lost cause, was more comfortable to sleep on the floor and didn't try to make the old tv in that room work.

1 minute walk to the ski run down to the village gondola so no complaints there, nice hottub and great view from it. Overall a 7.5 out of 10 but it's the 7.5 u need and we would return.

The condo was top notch, very open and inviting. Not the typical chalet post and beam, mountain retreat that we are used to. We have stayed at man condos over the past 8 years, this would rank in our top 2-3

Nice and big with enough bathrooms and beds for the number of people as advertised - good selection of kitchen utensils, pots et cetera for a large group - coffee maker a bit slow and small. Everyone in our group was impressed and we would definitely go back.
