Mont Tremblant ski resort is less than 15 minutes away making for a quick drive to the ski hills. Mont Blanc is even closer at 10 minutes away. And you can relax in the hot tub after a hard day on the hills! In summer, you can while away your hours sitting on the porch overlooking the lake, or head down to the lake to enjoy a swim off the dock. The kids will have plenty to do with the canoe and assorted water toys. This truly is an all season property and the tranquil setting makes for a relaxing vacation. Yet all the exciting activities of a world-class resort are mere minutes away.

This kitchen has all the amenities a serious cook would want (since I am one!) The kitchen is open to the rest of the living space, so you can see the lake and chat with your friends while making dinner--you haven't been ostracized in the kitchen!

This is a superb location. It's only 2 minutes from the Hwy 117, making for easy access from Ottawa or Montreal. The shopping in St-Jovite is a mere 5 minutes away. More importantly, in the winter, the South Side of Tremblant is about a 12 minute drive. Winter access is no problem since the roads are well-maintained, and the snow-removal service for the driveway and parking area is prompt and efficient.

Before making a booking, ensure that this property is suitable for you based on the policies as described. Specifically, this is not a party house. If that's your intent, and lots of people do want to come up to Tremblant to let loose and have a great time, you will be doing yourself a favour by selecting another property and here's why: you will lose your $1000 security deposit, the noise-intolerant neighbour will call the police and they will visit you asking you to cease the noise, and I will also get a call from said neighbour at 1am barking in my ear which will result in me calling you. Who needs the aggravation? Not you and not me. There's lots of other properties on Allura suitable for that style of vacation, so please check them out.

On the other hand, if you and your group want to relax is excellent surroundings, in a peaceful and quiet way on a lovely little lake, away from the hustle and bustle of the Village (but a mere 15 minutes away), but in a more restrained fashion, this could be the house for you.

Guest Stay Policies

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs $50/hour.
Excessive Noise
Garbage Removal Wed evening for Thursday removal. Garbage exceeding the capacity of the supplied bin must be taken with you. An additional charge for garbage removal will be levied if the cleaners have to remove more garbage than fits in the bin.
Housekeeping Can be arranged for fee.

Liability Owners are not responsible for personal injury to tenants or guests on premises or grounds.

Another great stay at the cottage!!! Stayed in this beautiful cottage for a Thanksgiving long weekend and it was everything we were looking for and a bit more. The wood fire place is a big bonus and even though it wasn't that cold we lit it anyway; so cosy in the evenings. The forest walk is just on your doorstep; the lake is beautiful; the nature is colourful. It was nice to sit on the dock with a glass of wine and enjoy beauty of surrounding; so peaceful))) It was everything you could want for a relaxing break, and we can’t wait to go back! Thank you, Stephen for accommodating us again!!!

We spent a great week at this chalet during July 2014. The chalet itself is very clean, modern and comfortable. The screened porch is perfect for summer dinners and there is a great deck for enjoying the sun. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The cottage is on a nice quiet lake. It was great to kayak and canoe and watch the loons. It was also nice for swimming but the water was a bit cold, due to a cold July. The area around Tremblant is great for a summer vacation. We spent time hiking, cycling, kayaking and enjoying the village. A great place for a summer vacation.

Some many positives about this cottage that it would be faster to list the negatives! But I can't think of any frankly. The Pool table and hot tub are definitely some of the highlights for us. The place was super clean and full furnished and so spacious! Being able to spend time outside in a covered gazebo is a plus for the summer/fall. The Renter was quick to reply and very helpful. Location is excellent for us as all the golf courses are literally accross the highway. We loved it so much we're booking it again!

We just spent 10 days in Mont Tremblant for our ski holidays. This location was great!. The cottage was full of amenities (large rooms, fireplace, pool table, hot tub) that made our stay very enjoyable, specially after those exhausting days of skiing/snowboarding. Everything stayed in optimal conditions throughout our stay. Our host Stephen was very helpful when giving us advice and answering our inquiries. If I had to mention a shortcoming I can only say that the location is not really accessible without a car, but pass this is hands-down one of the best locations we have rented so far.

This was our third time up and it was a great weekend getaway as usual! So close to everything in Tremblant. Place was very clean with many accomodations. Hot tub and pool table was amazing to have access too! We will definately be back and recommend this cottage to others. :)

Just came back from my 4th ski weekend, staying here. As always had a great time; The location is great, the place amazing, nothing like waking up on a nice quiet lake. I cannot fathom why anyone would stay in the noisy village when you can stay here!

I've stayed at the Oasis on Lac Forget property twice. I had a flawless stay both times, and will look here first the next time I'm planning a trip up from Ottawa. The location is perfect, the cottage is beautiful, clean and quiet. I especially enjoyed the dock, the hot tub and the proximity to the golf courses. Stephen is professional, organized and responsive. Writing this review makes me wish I was headed up there again soon.

We stayed in this beautiful cottage with 8 girlfriends for our annual trip. It has amazing views from the balcony. We did some hiking in the area and relaxed on the dock after a swim in the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table as well. It is a great location for a group of friends or a couple of families. I would definitely recommend it.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Oasis on Lac Forget property (December 24th 2011 till January 3rd 2012). The chalet is quite large and fit our group of 8 people easily (and could still fit more). The kids had a great place to stay downstairs with a pool table for entertainment and a new large flat screen TV. A lot of table games too. The kitchen was well equipped, better than we have seen in any other chalet. The hot tub was large, clean and warm. The chalet is in a great location – close enough to downhill and cross country skiing (you have to drive although, but no more than 12 minutes), very close to tubing (kids enjoyed it too), and is very convenient to do shopping. The chalet was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the wood fireplace. Some people left comments in the hose review book to put a TV next to the fireplace as a suggestion, but we found the lack of TV in the family room as an opportunity to talk to each other and play games. (By the way the new TV is located in the walkout basement and the other TV is in the bedroom on the main floor.) The property itself is located on a huge wooded lot and has lake access (it should be beautiful there at summer time). The property manager/owner, Stephen, was very responsive with any issue that we had before and during our stay. Thank you, Stephen, for the internet connection you organized. We would like to come back especially in the summer time.

Great base for a golf trip!

Excellent accommodations for up 2 couples for fall golf. Spotlessly clean, with lots of extras. Hot tub for after a long day outdoors, as well as a pool table for some wind-down fun. The lot is very private with frontage on a small lake for paddling. Cooked breakfast and dinner in, but lots of restaurants in the vicinity. Easy access to St. Jovite for extra supplies or that forgotten bottle of wine. Several golf courses within 15 minutes, we played the two Grayrocks courses which were in great shape and close by. Have been there in the fall two years in a row and it cant't be beat.

Stayed at the Oasis with my family as well as the families of my siblings - this place was perfect! The layout is extremely conducive for socilaizing, barbequing, having large meals. It was great for the kids to play outside and could be watched from the large porch. Very nice lake with a easy entry for young kids and can jump off the dock for the older ones. Very clean, well equipped and very very cozy, we had a wonderful stay at the oasis! Looking forward to staying here during the ski season!

Stayed at this cottage in late summer (September) 2011 and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the trip and the accommodations!! This beautiful cottage is nestled on a quiet and peaceful Lac Forget minutes from Mont Tremblant. I organized a golfing trip with friends from Ottawa to stay at this wonderful place after I discovered it a year earlier (June 2010) at my friend’s Dad’s 60th Birthday Celebration. The water was clean, calm and warm, allowing us to take out the canoe or kayak and paddle around the lake. When we we’re feeling hot, we simple dove off the dock and went for a refreshing swim. The cottage itself has all the amenities a group would look for. We stayed there 4 nights, and took turns cooking elaborate dinners. The kitchen was already well stocked with every appliance, utensil, doo-hickey that a cook would require. On a warm evening we Bar-B-Q’d, sat in the screened patio, and later could hear the loons on the water. Definitely picturesque and could have been an outtake of any Canada Tourism commercial. Saint-Jovite is the closest town (about 5 minutes away) and has great grocery stores. Recommend Marché Chevrefils; they had everything! All the rooms are a great size and were clean, ready for our arrival! I stayed in the Master Bedroom and the bed was nothing but warm and gloriously comfy. It was hard not to sleep in every morning, especially on those days when there was an early tee time. There was ample parking and space in the cottage for everyone to do their own thing – whether it was sitting on the dock or the porch having a beer, relaxing by the fireplace reading a book, or watching a sports game or movie downstairs, and competing for bragging rights over a game of pool. Oh, and I can’t forget the hottub which was perfect after a round of golf or for me personally, a 2 hour hike. Some also went mountain biking (there’s tons of trails) and others preferred a more relaxing visit to the spa in pedestrian [Tremblant] village. The cottage is a quick drive (10-15 minutes) to some amazing golf courses. I personally played a round at Le Manitou (pretty decent Par 3 course) while others played at La Bête and Le Diable. We wanted to head into Tremblant Village one evening for a night out “on the [Tremblant] town” but ended up having so much fun eating, laughing, playing cards, etc that we lost track of time. Next year (and I will definitely be re-renting if the cottage is available) we’re planning to do it all over again. Stephen (the owner) was extremely friendly, organized and responded quickly to any questions I had before the trip and even during. This cottage is definitely a gem and have already referred friends to check it out Summer or Winter!!
