This private chalet in Panorama resort village is on a river lot with sunny view of upper ski runs and only 250 feet from base of kiddies poma lift run. Easily walk to all resort facilities which include restruants, tennis courts, riding stables, golf, bike and hiking trails. There is a fully equipped kitchen with all cooking items, dishes, coffee perc, toaster, microwave, roaster etc etc. The living area has a warm wood burning fireplace, cable TV with DVD and VHS player with some family movies of good taste. One BR down with Dbl bed, 3 up with queen beds and one has a single with it. Full bath down and half up. 2 tables for eating in a rustic clean family type home. There are both a gas and a briquet barbeque on a wrap around deck for outdoor cooking. There is a with quality parking pad and shallow lane to park 2 cars with room for a boat on a trailer. The owner is allergic to cats but a non-shedding dog that is a gentle family pet would be considered, there are regulations for pets.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests We will refund your money if we can replace your booking. Refunds are at the re-booked rate & based on the number of nights re-booked.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Provided prior to arrival.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guest Stay Policies

Policy Description
Check-In Time 4:00 PM. Please contact owner for early check in requests. Owner must approve prior to guest's early check-in.
Check-Out Time 12:00PM. Please contact owner for later check out requests. Owner must approve prior to late check-out.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Excessive noise which disturbs others is prohibited.
Garbage Removal There is garbage dumpsters adjacent to the resort. the dumpsters are bear resistant therefore garbage should be kept inside if possible and taken to dumpsters as required especially in spring and fall. location of dumpsters is on village map and will be posted in chalet.
Housekeeping Complimentary. Before arrival and after departure.
Liability We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property.
Maintenance Emergencies Emergency contact information provided to fully paid guests.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 9.
Property Damage Guest will be charged $300 with reservation deposit in the event of damage. Deposit will be returned upon departure if circumstances permit or within 15 days. A cheque will be mailed to guest as soon as possible.

 About Us

The owner a former aircrew officer who flew global and got the skiing bug while stationed in Baden Baden, Germany and a previous tour in France built the first accomodation at Panorama when there was only a T-Bar and a a rope tow. There was no electricity at the time only a generator with limited power. a coleman lantern and propane.The road was gravel and scary with logging trucks also coyotes howling at nite and lots of bear visitors who left their paw marks on the patio doors. 3 years later the chalet was pulled from the hotel area by caterpillar to a river lot by Guy Messerli (one of the original owners of Panorama),many original owners stayed in Mels cabin while clearing their lots back in 1974. From olympic champions to hippies there has been many ups and downs but mostly fond memories. 2 wings have been added and despite a few scratches Marg keeps it clean and we both appreciate the number of great familys who have rented and left us nice notes of how they enjoyed their stay. As seniors with grandchildren this gives us much happiness.
