Property Description

Our townhome is on three levels, enter on the ground floor by the entrance on the side or via the single car garage. Washer/Dryer & plenty of storage for equipment and gear. Upstairs on the second floor is the open plan living/kitchen/dining/balcony areas and bathroom. Third floor features 2 bedrooms and bathroom with jetted tub.

The Spearhead Trail bike path runs directly behind the Forest Trails complex linking you the Valley Trail bike path network, only minutes from Lost Lake Park for summer fun. In the winter if there is enough snow you can cross Spearhead Drive and ski to the Wizard Chair.  Later you can ski out from Blackcomb Mountain, cross Spearhead Drive and ski to Forest Trails!

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days Minimum two days between booking and arrival.
Cancellations Made by Guests Non-refundable deposit. Your reservation deposit is non-refundable. The balance may be refunded, less a 4% admin fee, if the dates can be resold.
Delayed Arrivals Guest's responsibility. We are not responsible for delayed arrivals therefore no refund will be given for missed nights.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Via Email. You will automatically receive instructions & access information closer to your arrival date.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Potential Cancellation. You will receive 2 reminders prior to the balance of payment being due. If you do not pay the balance on time your reservation may be cancelled with no refund.
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage Private Garage.
Check-In Time 4:00 pm. An early check-in may be possible, check with our service providers Mountain Hideaways within 3 days of arrival.
Check-Out Time 10:00 am. A late checkout may be possible. Check with Mountain Hideaways while you are in the property.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Chargeable. Excessive cleaning costs will be applied to the credit card being held for damage deposit.
Excessive Noise Eviction. We reserve the right to evict due to noise complaints.
Housekeeping Complimentary. Weekly & end of stay cleans provided. If you require extra housekeeping, please contact Mountain Hideaways.
Liability Not liable. The property owners & their service contractors have their own liability insurance. We are not responsible for guest error or belongings.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hr phone number. Mountain Hideaways is on-call 24/7 in case of emergencies.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 8. We reserve the right to evict if more than 8 persons are found to be staying in the unit.
Missing Items Damage Deposit. An inventory check is done after each guest's departure, any missing items will be charged the replacement to the credit card taken as a damage deposit.
Noise Restrictions Local noise by-law. Quiet after 10:30pm. Eviction for complaints of noise is enforceable.
Property Damage Damage deposit. Upon arrival Mountain Hideaways will visit for a meet & greet session at which time they will take a $500 pre-authorisation on your credit card which is released following a damage inspection after your stay.
Rental Accommodation Zoning Tourism accommodation zoning. The complex is zoned for nightly rentals.
Resort Information Provided. A full resort information binder including maps and discount cards is provided in the property
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Private Garage with ski locker/rack.
Terms of Eviction Enforcable. For reasons of noise, damage or violation of any policies listed here we reserve the right to evict.

Perfect Family Holiday Getaway

Jason was always very responsive! Liked how he put some Xmas decorations up for us as we were there over the holidays. The location was very convenient for skiing as well as other excursions. Place was quiet and private. Perfect family holiday!! On the many times that visitor parking was full we were able to pull a very large SUV into the garage. The complex was good about keeping the driveway snow plowed and deiced. Would definitely rent something managed by Mountain Hideaways in the future!

Fantastic place to stay for a mountain biking holiday! The garage was crucial for storing bikes and kit. Kitchen was great, everything we needed- even had proper sharp knives-crucial for food prep. The bed deserves special mention for being so comfortable.

The only tiny criticism was that the bbq was too dirty to use.. I'm not prepared to clean someone else's fish remains off on my holiday!! The supply of dishwasher tabs, laundry supplies and toilet rolls was really appreciated.

So, in summary, a really brilliant rental!

Enjoyed our stay at Forest Trails. The property was as advertised, so no surprises. It was spotlessly clean as well. We skied everyday. Some days we used the ski out trail to Blackcomb base. The trail is right across the road from the property. Other days we used the free Whistler bus service into the village. The bus stop is right in front of the property; very convenient.

Jason the owner was especially helpful, arranging an early check-in and late checkout, which helped us maximize our time on the slopes. I will definitely consider Jason's property for future Whistler trips

Forest Trails was a great place to stay. We were there for 10 days and it was very homey and comfortable. I would definitely consider staying there again next year for Crankworx!! Only issue was that my van didn't fit in the garage but the parking is right there so it wasn't an issue. The garage was super handy for storing and working on bikes.

Enjoyable time at Whistler in March 2015

We enjoyed our stay at Forest Trails. It was equipped with all we needed except salt/pepper/sugar which would have been a nice basic condiment to have on stock. Great to have dish soap, laundry soap and bar soap. We were 8 people staying at the place and it was a little too small around the table at dinner time - only 6 chairs and then 2 bar stools but we managed. In the evenings, we found that 8 people cannot sit around and watch a movie very comfortably as there is one couch and one arm chair but the photos do show that to be the case. I would say the place fits 6 comfortably. The pull out couch in the living room was not all that comfortable to sleep on as a bed as it sagged in the middle but I think all pull outs are that way. As a couch to sit on it was great.

We had trouble with the dvd player, it didn't work for us though there were a few movies there to watch but we either watched tv or tried netflix which worked on some movies but not on the majority of movies. We ended up signing up for our own netflix trial account.

There were a couple of light bulbs burned out but the property manager came over immediately to change them and give us whatever we needed. He was courteous and genuinely helpful. There was a problem with the oven door not opening well but we seemed to slide it back in to the right spot. The BBQ had uneven heat distribution so maybe the burners could be replaced but it was decent to cook our meals on.

Overall, the place was clean and cozy and the experience booking it and response time for any issues we brought up was excellent so we would recommend it for others to stay.

one thing that stood out about this place is that it is very well stocked. There were laundry detergent, extra toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid. Washer/dryer set is brand new. The garage is a little small so parking a large suv may be a challenge. The unit is only a short walk to the wizard chair. There are lots of stairs in the unit so it may be tiring to walk up and down after a long day of skiing. But overall, Its a cozy place for 5 people. Everything is well stocked, clean, and functional in the unit.
