Property Description

Very spacious 790 square foot, single floor condo plus a private balcony. You enter the unit into a stone flagged hallway with a closet, boot dryer and private laundry to the left and a bathroom to the right. Passing through the hall you enter the open plan kitchen and dining area, opening into the vaulted living area with cosy gas fireplace at its focus. Floor to ceiling windows look into the trees up the mountain. Off to the left, the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom off the entrance hallway has a Double/Single bunk and is opposite the second bathroom. The secure, free parking spots have direct access to all floors of the Woodrun Lodge. Guest ski locker is on the ground level just a few steps to the slopes.

Living Area

Spacious and open with vaulted cathedral ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and a cosy gas fireplace - the convenience of a switch with the beauty of a log fire. Furnished for comfortable lounging. Watch a DVD on our flat screen HDTV. A stereo CD/Radio fills the room with music. The deck opens off the living room and overlooks the wooded slopes of Blackcomb.

Dining Area

The dining area is separate but open to the kitchen and living space. There is a large wooden dining table, big enough for 6, and an adjoining breakfast bar that seats 3. Low voltage halogen light fixtures provide just the right ambience for your meal - a romantic dinner for two or a family breakfast before getting onto the slopes.

REAL SKI-IN/SKI-OUT, Woodrun 614 is slope-side luxury on Blackcomb Mountain near Merlin’s, Monk’s Grill, The Relais Chateau and Chateau Whistler, close to the ski school and kids drop-off and a short gladed walk over our Fitzsimmon’s Creek to the village stroll. The Woodrun lodge is nestled in a fir grove and has a relaxed and quiet ambience that belies its convenient location. FROM THE AIRPORT: Leave the airport on Grant McConachie Way Follow the Highway 99 North, which becomes Granville Street Follow Granville Street north onto the Granville Street Bridge Move to the far right lane of the bridge and take the Seymour Street exit Follow Seymour Street north until Georgia Street Turn left onto Georgia Street through Stanley Park and over the Lions Gate bridge Exit the bridge following the Marine Drive West turnoff Immediately get into the far right lane on Marine Drive Take the first right onto Taylor Way Travel up the hill and turn left onto Highway 1 Follow the signs to Whistler - Highway 99 Sea to Sky Highway - After arriving in Whistler stay on the highway until you reach the Upper Village gate (Lorimer Road) which is the second set of lights after the Main Village Gate entrance from the highway Turn right at the Upper Village gate lights onto Lorimer Road and go straight through all the lights until you reach the end - Blackcomb Way (a T junction). Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Reservation Changes If availability permits & in concordance with our cancellation policy. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit calculated on the orignial amount is non-refundable; if you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable. If you have not paid the balance,then it will be re-adjusted to reflect your shortened reservation.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Available. Additional cleaning may be scheduled at the guest's request and expense.
Excessive Noise $100 Strata Bylaw for excessive noise. Triggered if Security Company called.
Garbage Removal Yes. Guests are asked to place their garbage in the Woodrun Lodge garbage collection point (by the garage entrance)
Housekeeping Yes. includes cleaning on arrival; cleaning after departure; complimentary midstay clean every 5th day if staying 8 days or more. Additional cleaning may be scheduled by contacting Shirley Hills at the guest's request and expense.
Liability No. We do not assume any liability for injury or loss of personal belongings.

Martin and Sue provided immediate replies to all our queries. A few small things: ..It would be nice to have more than 1 teatowel and dishcloth. I was handwashing them each day. ..There is no storage for personal groceries except in the wine glass hutch. We managed to break a glass trying to keep our groceries In this area. I thought the walk-in shower off the den was super. No sliding glass door or shower curtains to collect mould. It was a very comfortable condo and we love the slopeside access. Marguerite Hunt.

Everything was great except we had no contact from the owner to our initial inquiry (strange). Since our friends stayed at the same place previously we knew that it was good condo but it was a little leap of faith making the initial booking. Third year back and as always it was great to come to a "home away from home". Wonderful amenities, the kitchen has all you need, lot's of room for everyone plus fort building by the kids, full kitchen and two full bathrooms can't ask for much more than what is there.

The weather was fantastic this year, the pool was a welcome reprieve! Shirley our concierge as always was a great help with any questions that arose during our stay. Can't wait to come back!

Budget and Family Friendly

If you need all the high end appliances and fancy decor then this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a great value in a ski in/ski out location with everything you need to make for a great vacation then this is your place. It is small but my family (kids 14, 12, 10) had all the space we needed and enjoyed the pool/hot tub area every day. The location on the mountain can't be beat! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Everything about this rental was simple and hassle free. The unit was beyond our expectations . It was clean, comfortable, and fully updated with excellent appliances and furnishings. We felt as if we were staying in someones home, and not a hotel unit. Very well placed ski in/out on Blackcomb. Would definetly rent this unit again.

We had a wonderful vacation and the accommodations were exemplary! I would highly recommend this property, the Beds very comfortable, the kitchen well equipt, loved the convenience of ski lockers, and the in ski out was so great!! We loved the skiing here, and will return! The shuttle to the village was even convenient!

We would highly recommend the restaurant 21, and Dubh Linn Gate. Shirley at Peek to Creek was really great getting us supplies and lift tickets and having it ready and waiting for us! Top Notch! Tauna from Lake Charles LA

We enjoyable staying at Woodrun for many reasons : The booking of the accomdation was extremely professional and helpful ( Martin , Sue and Shirley were brilliant) The set out of the apartment was well suited for my family, If problems arose they were fixed immediatley and without hestiation, The location of Woodrun for Ski in Ski out was outstanding, the reception staff were always so hospitable. It was a great holiday !

We had a great stay here. The owners were very helpful and kindly accommodated our specific needs. The home itself is perfectly located right on Blackcomb and is just a short walk to the Blackcomb area and not much further to Whistler Village, It is a little quieter than being in the hustle bustle and noise of Whistler Village which I like. The home was spotlessly cleaned and extremely well equipped and it feels like a real home from home rather than just some hotel room. Great for a summer vaycay but we hope to go back again during ski season as ski in ski out is the only way to go. Pool, hot tub etc were all great and the staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend this home and will definitely stay again.

Excellent Condo with very nice amenities

Located in the Woodrun Lodge of Whistler this 2 bedroom condo has a vaulted ceiling in the living room. 3 TV's all with separate satelight controls are awesome for teenagers/parents. Very nice hot tub and pool that is outside. Underground parking for cars and separate ski/snowboard and bike storage places. Kitchen was stocked with very nice dishes, pans, glasses, and plates. Everything was clean and the condo had very nice furniture, bedding, a large king size bed, bunk beds in 2nd bedroom, nice walk in shower, ceiling fans, and great heating/cooling systems. A very well maintained condo!!!. Great location in whistler located right on the ski hill for skiing and only a couple of blocks away from the shops of Whistler. Fantastic mountain biking, hiking, aerial ski trams, and other activities. Whistler is a expensive place, however this is condo is a Excellent value for lodging. Having very pleasant employees at the Woodrun front desk was great to answer questions and get suggestions for activities/restaurants etc. Rental of the condo was very easy and quick.
