Whistler Mountain Chalet - Perfect for Families and Groups!

This chalet is perfect for families or groups with spacious, comfortable common spaces and six cozy bedrooms (three with ensuites) for quiet moments.

Great dining room seats everyone for meals and games.  In summer and fall, the large deck is perfect for barbeques and year-round the eight person hot-tub soothes the body after a day of skiing or mountain biking.  The downstairs family bunky has four sets of bunk beds and a 50 inch internet TV and a large assortment of DVD's.  Please note that there is an additional one-time charge of $50 plus tax for each upper bunk.  

The front of the chalet offers views of the runs on Blackcomb Mountain while the back of the chalet has a large, flat private play space backing onto Fitzsimmons Creek.

Enjoy the central location of this wonderful home - an easy 12 minute walk to the village or quick bus/ drive/ ride to the ski lifts and bike park.

Georgeous renovations to four bathrooms and ground floor completely updated in May 2016. This chalet gets better and better each year as we renovate and decorate.

Good overflow space for the kids with four sets of bunk beds. Adjacent to full bath. This space adds a ton of flexibility for multifamily groups or adult groups with mixed couples and singles. Please note that occupancy can never exceed 14 for adults although extra children may be accepted on a case by case basis. Base rent does not include the four upper bunks. If upper banks are needed and approved, a surcharge of $50 plus tax per bunk will be charged to cover the additional housekeeping and laundry costs.

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.

Guest Stay Policies

Amenity Terms of Use Please respect all private and common amenities of the property. Damage or excessive cleaning to any amenity will be charged to the Guest responsible.
Check-In Time 4:00 pm.
Check-Out Time 10:00 am.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise Please respect our neighbours - extreme noise could result in eviction without reimbursement of remaining rental.
Garbage Removal To be taken accross highway 99 to Nesters garbage and recycling depot.
Housekeeping N/A. Can make seperate arrangements if wanted
Internet Availability & Usage Illegal downloads forbidden. Should we receive notification that such activity has occurred, the Guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.
Liability Renter will be liable for all damages. Charges will be taken from credit card on file
Maintenance Emergencies Contact numbers will be posted in Chalet.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 13 people.
Noise Restrictions There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.

Terms of Eviction Will be evicted for excessive noise, common or private property damage or threat of damage, disturbing the peace, excess of maximum sleeping capacity, or violation of any of our policies. You will not receive a refund!

Local Tips

About Us

We are a North Vancouver based family of five with three active kids.  We purchased the house in December 2012 after having fallen in love with the great communal spaces.  Given the size and layout of the house, we love the ability to invite our extended family and friends to stay with us in wonderful Whistler.  

As our kids play hockey most weekends, the chalet is available for rent during most of the ski season.  We  plan on spending time each summer in Whistler enjoying the mountain biking and lakes and fabulous restaurants.

It was a wonderful experience of staying at this cozy and roomy house. We had five families with ten parents and six kids. The big open space of kitchen, dinning room and living room on second floor accommodated all of our group after daytime activities. Kids played in the living room. Parents and teens made dinner together. Some stayed in the dinner room chatting. Everyone could see each other. Bedrooms on first and third floor. Clean and convenient bathrooms, and good sound proof. Don't hear noise from second floor's busy activities. Nice hot tub on back yard. We had an awesome stay and I definitely will recommend it to my friends. Actually, I already did. Thank you Sandra!

This house was great for our big group. Plenty of bedrooms, and the layout gave folks plenty of privacy. Hot tub was awesome, and the kitchen was super well-stocked (plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc). House is nicely updated, including kitchen & bathrooms. Bus to the ski lifts was easy, just had to plan ahead since the #3 doesn't come very often. It was on-time and a quick ride though.

Only downsides of the house were the mattresses and cleanliness. Beds in multiple rooms were quite saggy and uncomfortable. Updating the beds would go a long way in making the stay more comfortable. Also, noticed some cobwebs in corners and dust on some furniture. Nothing terrible, but may want to ask the cleaners to check the corners.

Overall, a really great place to stay for a big group - highly recommended.

Beautiful house, great owner, at a Whistler bus stop

My friends and I had a great stay here. The owner was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The house was super clean and well stocked with dishes, towels, and linens. There was plenty of sleeping room and washrooms for a large group, and the hot tub was great after a day on the slopes! The owner emailed a packet of helpful information along with the house rules ahead of time and there was a printed copy in the kitchen when we got there. The wi-fi worked great, which is always a plus! I think the location is about a mile from the Whistler base. It's too far to walk with ski gear, but there's a bus stop literally in front of the house. The bus came about every 30 minutes (and right on schedule) while we were there and only took about 5 minutes to get to the mountain, so it was reasonably convenient to get to the lifts and Whistler Village without driving. You will need cash for the bus fare though. If you're willing to stay a little bit outside of the Village area, I can't imagine a better place!

Definitely come back again !

I normally don't write reviews. But this place really exceeded my expectation . This house looks much better than the pictures . The whole house was very spacious . Lots of rooms and bathroom . It is great for multi family's . The kitchen has everything you normally have in your home . We were cooking everyday and felt just like home . The living room was very cozy and warm . The real wood burning fireplace and cedar Christmas tree were really nice finishing touch . Sofa and couch was comfortable . It has tv , blu Ray player , radio . Only the Bose sound dock doesn't support the iPhone anymore and TV speaker was weak . But that wasn't big deal to us at all . I was surprised to see Sandra has large collections of pretty new released movies . That made our kids really happy . The tv was also Netflix capable . So you can watch a lot of shows . We also enjoyed the Jacuzzi a lot . And she also prepared a lot of board games and cards . This is perfect for family gathering . Everyone was happy with this three days stay . It was worth it . We are already planning to come in summer time . And we will for sure call Sandra for another stay . Great Job ! Sandra .

Great spot for a large family. The house is well laid out for big groups. It is a 15 minute walk to the village. The house was clean and well equipped but don't expect pristine furnishings. There is a tenant living in part of the house, no noise, but up to 3 vehicles parked on site during our stay.

I stayed at this property for a long weekend with a big group of friends. It is hard to find a single negative thing to say about the experience. The only possible downside is that the house is a solid 15-20 minute walk from the village, but there is a bus stop right at the end of the driveway, and the hosts even provided a bunch of transit tickets for us to use. The bus comes every 30 minutes, so it may take a bit of extra planning if you are heading to the lifts, but it really wasn't a problem. Other than that, everything about the stay and transaction was great. The house is awesome. We had 10 people and had plenty of room. The hot tub is great, the beds are comfy, the kitchen has really nice appliances and is very well stocked with everything you might need. The BBQ is on a nice covered deck and worked perfectly. The owner (Sandra) was very friendly and easy to communicate with. She even went to so far as to mail me an item that I forgot at the house. Stay here, you will love it!

Great weekend at a great property

When using vacation rental sites there is always a worry that the property will not live up to the advertisement. This was not the case on our recent stay. Everything matched or exceeded our expectations. The detailed instructions from the owner were perfect, the views were inspiring, the rooms were spacious, the kitchen was very well equipped, the hot tub was excellent, grill worked, fireplace was great, etc. The wifi signal was strong (appreciated by the techies in the group) and it was a very casual 15 minute walk to the Village. We have stayed at many properties in Whistler over the years and we all agreed (9 of us) that this property will be a repeat stay on our next visit.
