Our lodge style home is a non-smoking, family oriented retreat. Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy the view of Blackcomb, or soak in the hot tub after an adventurous day.  You will enjoy playing games in our cozy living featuring a new flatscreen television.

Property Description

All on one level! The spacious slate entry, with a large closet opens to the living, dining and kitchen areas. On the quiet lagoon side are two bedrooms, and a patio with hot tub. The master bedroom has a walk through closet to the en-suite bathroom which includes a jetted tub. The second bathroom is adjacent to the second bedroom and private laundry.

Living Area

Relax on the comfortable leather furniture while watching a movie on our new flatscreen tv, sipping drinks apre-ski, or playing games together. This room opens to a patio, and a beautiful view of Blackcomb Mountain.  A variety of DVDs are stored in the drawer below the tv.

Open to the living room, the dining area has a pine table that seats 6. The dining room hutch stores table linens, along with a variety of  books, brochures, kids books and games.

Our townhome is perfect for families who want to stay in, or those who prefer to go out for delicious meals and entertainment. Walk anywhere, or use the free shuttle! In addition, the ample storage areas, private laundry, and hot tub make Bear Hollow a friendly base for many types of adventures.

Bear Hollow is conveniently located in Village North. Park your car in our reserved underground parking space, and walk, or take the free shuttle everywhere! On the map our building is located near the intersection of Northlands Blvd. and Main Street, across from the Marketplace. Groceries, a liquor store, pharmacy, and excellent restaurants are within a 5 minute walk. (or less) The free shuttle to the lifts is just across the street and arrives frequently!

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Deposit is non-refundable. We will refund your final payment if we can replace your booking; refunds are at the re-booked rate and based on the number of nights re-booked. All cancellation refunds are in Canadian funds and subject to a 5% cancellation fee.
Delayed Arrivals We are not responsible for late arrivals. We truly hope this does not happen.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Sent to your email address when final payment is made. Your door code will be sent by email 3 days prior to your check in date.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Will result in cancelled reservation and forfeiture of deposit. If dates are still available, guest can re-book without forfeiting deposit
Privacy The Owner, their booking Contact and this web sites technical administrators agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of their Guests without prior written consent from the Guests, except under force of law, or for law enforcement purposes relating to policy and property violation. The Owner and their booking Contact also agree to not use Guest personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Guests. Guests agree to not sell, refer, rent or divulge to any third parties the names or personal information of the Owner or their booking Contact without prior written consent from the Owner and/or Contact, except under force of law or for law enforcement purposes. Guests also agree to not use Owner or Contact personal information for any reason other than its original intended purpose without written consent from the Owners and their Contact.
Property Sale All bookings will be preserved in the event of a property sale. If the booking is not preserved by the new Owners, the new Owners will be contractually bound to move your booking, at their expense to a similar, or better property.
Reservation Changes Please contact us and we will try to work with you when possible. Payments are non-refundable unless property is re-booked.

Guest Stay Policies

Bike Storage The garage key also works for the bike storage area in the parking garage. Remember to bring a lock. Please do not store bikes in the unit.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs When departing guest agrees to remove all trash and recycling to the bins in the garage, load and start the dishwasher, confirm all doors are locked, and return key to kitchen hook. Guest is responsible for paying excessive cleaning costs stemming from extraordinary cleaning above the standard typical Guest stay. Cleaning associated with defacing the property, or above the standard fees is considered property damage.
Excessive Noise Whistler has strict By Laws regarding noise. If you are bothered by excessive noise contact Whistler By Law Enforcement. Whistler By Law phone number is 604 932-5535 or WRM at 601 -932-2972.
Housekeeping Complimentary before and after stay. For stays longer than 8 nights mid stay cleans can be arranged. A vacuum is available in the unit.
Internet Availability & Usage We provide instructions in Bear Hollow for wireless internet access. At times, due to circumstances beyond our control (ie: wind storms) internet access may be limited.
Liability We are excluded from liability for personal bodily injury while in our home, while in transit to, or on resort property.
Locking Door We would appreciate if you would lock both front doors, and the sliding glass door in back, everytime you leave Bear Hollow.
Maintenance Emergencies Phone number will be provided with check-in instructions and posted in the unit.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 5 occupants. Capacity for 5 occupants in bedrooms.
Parking & Ticketing Parking space #59 is Bear Hollow's reserved space. If you have an additional car, it can be parked in spaces not marked reserved. A garage key is hanging in the kitchen. Please remember to return it to the kitchen when you depart for the next guest. We will charge $75 for keys that are not returned to us.
Property Damage Property damage of common or private property includes: physical damage, excessive cleaning, defacing property, excessive noise, littering, lude public behavior, missing items/theft. Guest agrees to pay up to $500 CAD for all private or common property damage caused by the Guest themselves, or a member of their party. Guests may also be evicted. Refunds will not be issued in the event of eviction. Owner reserves the right to request Guest account inactivation. By accepting our Guest Stay Contract you are agreeing to pay for property damages.
Rental Accommodation Zoning
Resort Information An information book is provided in Bear Hollow, and online if you bring your laptop.
Terms of Eviction Evidence of smoking, unapproved pet, occupants in excess of 5 people, excessive noise, common and private property damage, disturbing the peace. No refunds in the event of eviction.

A great summer stay and within walking distance of all our needs. Grocery and shuttle stop across the street. Easy in and out access for our rental car for day trips. Owners were very responsive and timely with all communications. We had the time of our lives in Whistler, and felt like we had a home away from home at this Condo!
