Welcome to Windwhistle.   Spectacular views from this top floor condo in the heart of the village. The condo is bright and spacious with two large private decks which give you outstanding views of Blackcomb, Whistler, and the bustling village below. The condo can comfortably sleep 4 with a queen bed in the master bedroom, a queen sofabed in the living room and a futon in an alcove. There are two full bathrooms. There is free underground secured parking and everything is within walking distance. Close to shops, restaurants, grocery store, nightlife and both Blackcomb and Whistler gondolas are only a three minute walk away.  The building does not have an elevator and the unit is only accessible by stairs.

We like our guests to know that the convenience of being in the heart of the village also brings along with it the potential for noise.  Our unit is above and close to several popular nightclubs, bars and restaurants. Depending on the time of year, you may hear background music and/or village nightlife noise within our suite from 10 pm till 2 am. We have a strict non-refund policy for noise, please be certain that when you book, noise is not an issue.

Upon your arrival in Whistler, Whistler Reception Services will hand out keys, give additional information and require a credit card imprint as a damage deposit. There is a $25 per night charge for each additional person but children 16 and under STAY FREE. Please be aware that the village can be noisy at times and there is a non-refund policy for noise complaints originating in the village or in the building.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days Any day of the week.
Cancellations Made by Guests Reservation deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation after final payment is delivered, is refundable by the number of nights re-booked in a replacement reservation, at the replacement rate. Any cancellations must be done at least 48 hours before check-in on the first day of the reservation. All cancellation refunds are subject to a 4% cancellation fee. Please note we cannot give refunds for noise coming from the village.
Delayed Arrivals Please contact us with your requests and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Complete resort information, arrival/check-in instructions will be sent upon final payment. Pick up keys in resort at Whistler Reception Services
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Guest Stay Contract Sign and return your Reservation Confirmation Letter.
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Check-In Time 4:00 pm.
Check-Out Time 11:00 am.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Upon your departure please load and start the dishwasher as there will be a $25 charge if dishes are left to be done by our housekeepers.
Excessive Noise Guests will be evicted for excessive noise or disturbance. Please show respect to all the other guests or owners. There is a non-refund policy for noise complaints originating in the village or in the building.
Housekeeping Complimentary. Free mid stay clean with reservations of 7 or more days.
Liability Owners are not responsible for injuries, accidents or theft of guests' personal property on or off the premises of the Windwhistle. Owners may claim amount necessary to replace items or repair damage caused by guests or fines imposed on owners by Strata for damage or disturbance caused by guests.
Maintenance Emergencies 24 hour service. Please contact Whistler Reception Services
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 6 people overnight - excess occupants will result in eviction.
Missing Items Guests authorize a credit card charge for missing items.
Policy Updates Policies are subject to change without notice.
Property Damage A damage deposit will be taken by Whistler Reception Services upon check-in on a credit card hold amount. Credit hold will be refunded within 7-10 days after guest's departure if there is no damage. Guest will pay for all damage incurred while the guest is staying in the property, even if the the offender is being hosted by the guest.

Terms of Eviction Excessive Noise, Disturbing the Peace, Property Damage, or falsely representing your age to be over 25 years. Will result in legal eviction by the security company

Guarantees Policies

Reservation Guarantee If the property is sold or damaged, we relocate you to a comparable property. If there are rate increases associated with the move, we contribute up to $100 CAD per night towards rate equalization. If we fail to successfully relocate you, you will receive a full refund

For the price we paid this vacation rental was a good value. The location was great. The views from the balcony were fantastic. It's a bit of a hike getting up to the fourth floor in this 'stairs only' condo with our luggage, groceries etc.... The sofa bed is a bit awkward and uncomfortable and takes up a lot of the small living room space when set up.

Having two full bathrooms was a plus for us four women. Our only real disappointment was the lack of WiFi in the condo. Overall we enjoyed our time at this location. I think I would opt for this condo again on our next stay in Whistler.

I love staying here when I come to Whistler. The only improvement would be to offer free wifi for guests. It gets cold in the evenings sitting outside the grocery store downstairs to use theirs.

I should have paid more attention to what was NOT listed - WiFi and a hot tub. Those two amenities are usually a must with me. Overall a good experience at a clean place with a great location.

Great location and easy to access. The place is old but it has a great kitchen and having 1BR + the den bedroom was a bonus. You can hear Mo-joes on a busy night but given its on the 4th floor its not very noticeable. Overall great spot with a location you can't beat.

Enjoyed our stay! The set up of this condo was perfect for my family with two grown adult children. Both had their own bed. :) Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Some noise Friday night at bar closing time, but was expected and not bothersome to us. Website had explained ahead of time do no big deal. Owner very responsive. Great views from balconies.

Pros: Convenient location, extra bed (in a closet) was good, included parking, decks and views were nice, 2 bathrooms.

Cons: No elevator, no coffee, no shampoo, noisy from bar downstairs (not really a problem, when you put a fan on) , dated d├ęcor

This condo was good enough for a weekend of hiking with a friend.

This place is exactly as advertised. There will be some noise from the club downstairs, but nothing that wasn't manageable. The best part is that you are very close to a lot of the great stores and restaurants located in the Village (like really close).

The property was also very clean, and came with everything that you need for cooking. My only advice is to make sure you bring your own spices and such if you do plan on doing some cooking. There is just the basic salt, pepper, and some brown sugar available.

The unit is in the heart of Whistler village so it was extremely convenient but it is also right above a night club so if you are a light sleeper this unit may not be ideal. It is not extremely noisy so we had no problem sleeping. Sharon, the owner was really responsive and even allowed us for a late check out as we had morning activities planned. The unit is clean, and spacious enough for up to 5-6 people. The unit could use a little updating, there was no wifi and no elevators but there are two decks you can stepped out to from the unit. Overall it was a great place.

Location is hard to beat

We stayed for four nights during the Christmas period. The location in the heart of the village is hard to beat --- it's what we were looking for, and what we got. The unit is very clean and warm. Bathrooms are fully functional in every way, but could use some upgrades. The "alcove" was a big hit with our daughter --- plenty of room yet cozy. Despite the village being packed, we were not bothered by the noise at all.

The owners are very responsive. When we arrived, somebody was "squatting" in the parking spot. Whistler Reception was taking a Christmas break, but the owners were "on duty" and quickly helped us with the issue even though it was not their fault.

I would mention two things that perspective renters should be aware of and that don't jump out of the description: (1) The unit is on the 4th floor with no elevator and (2) There is no internet.

All in all, we had a great time. Internet would have made it better.

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay at Whistler (within the Village Stroll). This has got to be it! Though if you are very high maintenance person, then get a 5 star hotel for 4X the price of this property. Low key was there were no elevators, but we were young and like to exercise, so no big deal. Noise from the clubs did not bother us at all even our kids slept through the night even when windows were open. Rooftop deck was a plus! Sleeps 6 but recommended at around 4. Most positive out of all of this experience is the owner. Very accommodating and the response time for our questions and needs were seamlessly answered (even while she was travelling), I was very impressed. The place is clean, though you can tell it's one of the very first condos that were built inside the village (a little reno could boost more visitors).
