Hello and thank you for visiting my home. I have been a part of Whistler for the last 10 years and truly enjoy sharing my home and experiences with you, my special guests. My home in Whistler is exactly that. I try hard to make sure that we accomodate it comfortably for all the people that visit. My home is fully stocked, I even provide coffee, butter, candles, staples and laundry detergent for my guests! Not to mention the PRIVATE HOT TUB on my deck!
You can walk to everything in the village and marketplace from my home and the main gondola lifts are only a 10 minute warm up walk or take the free shuttle outside the door.
My unit also has functionality. Provided is a ground floor seperate entrance and my home has a completely renovated kitchen and bath, in-suite washer/dryer, ski rack in the heated mud room, CD and DVD player, WIFI, stereo system that holds an IPOD, brand new 37" Samsung Flat Screen TV, martini glasses and shaker and all the items in the kitchen that you would normally find in your own home. If there is something that you need that is not listed, just ask! I will try my best to accommodate you.
NOTE...I have recently done an EXTENSIVE RENOVATION and have a new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, limestone countertops, dishwasher drawer, new utensils/plates and new linens. PLUS a full NEW Bathroom with stand alone vanity, travertine tub and floors, above counter sink, large rain shower head and not to forget or limit to the new paint, new artwork, new sofa, new tv, new rug, mattress, ceiling fan and more!!! Kitchen, bath floor and tub are all done in beautiful travertine tile. You will not find a nicer one bedroom in the village!

You enter the home from the groung floor level, you set your bags down in the mud room, you pass by the bedroom but decide not to enter the taupe colored inviting room - not yet... you then gaze into the living room, you follow the natural light but decide to light a candle anyway, place your coat on the dining room chair, you grab a refreshment from the kitchen and open the patio door. You say "Ahhhh, Whistler" and step into the pre-heated private hot tub on the deck as you look at both mountains. That's why we call it "god's country" and you will to.

The living room is one of my favorite areas... with the real River Rock Fireplace, hardwood floors, new colorful rug and cozy sofa sectional, faux fur throw pillows, fresh painted walls, entertainment unit with 37" Samsung Flat Sreen TV & you will find that it is very cozy. You dim the lights, turn on the fireplace, light a candle, put your feet up on the leather ottoman and probably guaranteed you won't be able to keep your eyes open to watch TV.
Rustic table overlooking the living room with new high back leather chairs, Stereo set off to the side that connects to an IPOD, and has great lighting & candles. There is also a Beautiful Grant Gunderson mountain scene photo on canvas on dining area wall.This area is fantastic as views of both kitchen and living room are made.
Private Hot Tub on deck, corner unit, Dual Mountain view, walking distance to the village, NEW kitchen and bath!... Rustic Hardwood floors throughout, Quiet complex with little or no renting ... or owners living there for that matter!! We are fortunate enough to have the private amenity of our HOT TUB. It means so much when you can relax 'privately' after a long day of skiing or even just as a morning refresher on a crisp summer day. We also have the private amentity of laundry facilities (only YOUR dirty laundry) as well as wireless internet access and your very own private entrance - to the outdoors- of the home. I also have a sound system that holds an IPOD.

Far enough to feel the true spirit of the mountain - YET across the street to the village and all amenities including main marketplace, liquor store, pharmacy, Starbucks, Hospital, McDonalds, Olympic Plaza, etc. The deck faces both mountains, so with a peak out the window, a weather report is instant. 10 minute walk to the lifts or Lost Lake trails or take the free shuttle right in front of my complex.

Hi... I live in Seattle however I am up in Whistler and Vancouver on a very regular basis. I love Whistler for the joy it gives me, my family and friends. It allows us to relax and also enjoy the great outdoors-Whistler has everything- skiing and snowboarding, x-country skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing, zip trekking, shopping, art fairs, a Sunday Farmers Market and the list goes on and on and on. It allows me to creep away from the hustle of the city and stress of everyday life. Sometimes... time spent in Whistler makes me never want to come back!

I am so tempted to rate Sandy's property negatively so that it will always be available!! I can't do that in good conscience though so, here goes! My husband and I flew into SeaTac, then drove to Whistler. A loooong trip (especially the wait at the border) and we were ready to relax when we finally arrived. We parked the car and walked to the front door of the condo. All of Sandy's instructions were on point and, upon entering, we were greeted by a lovely, homey, modern, and comfortable place to park our butts for the next 10 days. The condo is conveniently located - mere minutes to both the Village and Lost Lake. Not to mention, Nester's market is just up the road. I love that we were able to wash clothes and cook meals. The kitchen appliances are top notch and we didn't have a single problem in the entire time we stayed. This is my second stay in Sandy's condo, and I hope it won't be my last! I love the quiet location, yet it's only a three minute walk to the Olympic plaza so very central. There seems to be zero tolerance for loud music, parties etc so it's always very peaceful and relaxing. The condo itself is spotless, with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. It has everything you could possibly need and the best stocked cupboards in any rental property I've been in. This means you aren't buying lots of things that you only need a little of eg. Salt, pepper, sauces, butter, salad dressings etc. the furniture is really comfy, the TV and video easy to use, and so handy also to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Overall I had a great stay here, and can't recommend this condo enough.

Awesome, with a dump 35cm and the next day with sunny skis. Cozy and close enough to slopes and far enough away. Free shuttle so you can go green. Perfect place if all you want to do is ski, relax and rejuvenate. Kids loved the hot tub. Would highly recommend.

This unit is walking distance to Market place, yet a quiet charming place. There were only two of us, but there are plenty of space for four people. A nice feature of the unit is the entrance foyer separated from the rest of the house with a door. Ski boots and skies can be kept there, so that you do not have to store them in a separate cold locker room. There are two TV units: one in the living room and another in the bedroom. Very well stocked kitchen is another attraction for people who like to prepare food themselves. If we come to Whistler in winder, we definitely stay here again.

We loved staying in Sandy's home. It was so cozy and beautifully furnished. I stay in a lot of Vrbo's and have to say this has been one of my favorites. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, the kitchen was well stocked, and having the hot tub right there on the balcony was a godsend after skiing all day. I also loved that it was within a 5 minute walk of the lifts. As it rained quite a few days we were there, the heated mudroom came in handy. Every morning our clothes were dry and ready for another wet day!

My wife and I stayed three nights in Sandy's unit and it made for a great weekend getaway. We soaked in the hot tub every morning and evening, perfect after multiple days of skiing/riding. The full kitchen was very well stocked. The village was less than a two minute walk away and the lifts are a short walk up Blackcomb Way. We really appreciated the modern feel that this unit gives while still maintaining the Whistler charm. Sandy was readily available to answer any questions we had. Parking was easy and secure. Super quiet location. We can't say enough nice things about this unit.

This condo is fabulous and exactly as described. High quality everywhere. Our only complaint would be the lighting. It is so poorly lit it is nearly impossible to read anything or find anything in the kitchen after dark. The light bulbs need to be brought up to the high standard of everything else. And a floor stand reading lamp near the couch would be great. It's an easy fix and then this condo would be as enjoyable in the night as it is in the day. We have already told friends of this great rental and we will definitely be returning. Thanks Sandy King for sharing your lovely home and for all the info you sent. This apartment provided luxury comfort for us on our honeymoon. The detailed information sent by Sandy made sure we were well informed of everything from directions to using the washing machine. We also made use of her top tips for visitors to Whistler and can heartedly recommend Sushi Village! The hot tub on the balcony was a special treat and helped us to unwind after exploring local trails. A must for any visitor is the Peak 2 Peak - well worth the money, the vistas from the top of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains were breathtaking.

Up to Whistler for a nice weekend getaway, and found this nice gem in Granite Court. Located across the street from the main stage and kids playground, it was a perfect location for our small family (with two little ones). Quiet and close! Bike trails just outside the condo, too! It truly was easy to stroll through the village with out two kids from this location. Inside, it was nice and clean, and exactly what we expected based on the photos. The hot tub was perfect too! Only thing to note is that they didn't have any kids plastic dishes, so you might want to bring your own if you're going with kids. Other than that, can't wait to go again.

Great kitchen and bedroom, my only complaints are that the hot tub faces the street with only a few trees blocking. Not as private as I would like, but beautiful place. Its about a 10 minute walk to the hill but very close to liqour store. Iga and the ice rink.

My wife and i stayed in Sandy's condo for 3 nights, and had a great time. It is located just far enough from the noise of the village but you are a very short walk from the shops and restaurants, and most importantly - the lifts! The condo is perfect for 2 people, well stocked and everything is new :) The private hot tub was great to come back to after skiing all day. Thanks for a great stay!

Loved our stay!
We have just spent 11 wonderful nights in this condo. From the moment we walked in after our long 14hr flight from australia , we new this would be our home for our time in whistler. We found the condo very clean and comfortable for 2adults and 2children. My kids loved walking out the front door and playing in the snow every day. The private hot tub after skiing was a real bonus. The condo was filled with Christmas decorations which added to the holiday experience. We walked everyday to the whistler lifts but stored the kids skis and boots in a locker at base. The bus stop is very close if you need transport too. Thank you Sandy for allowing us to spend our holidays in your home. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our visit to Whistler was everything we could have wanted! My husband and I absolutely loved this condo! Very beautiful and clean, with full ammenities, including a 2-4 person hot tub, perfect for those sore muscles after a day on the mountain! It is within walking distance to Whistler Village and both Blackcomb and Whistler lifts. We consider ourselves lucky to find this gem, with so many other options, we would not have wanted to stay anywhere else. Hope to be back soon! Thanks Sandy!!!
The Ideal Town House

This cozy little town house is the perfect place to come back to after skiing or any snow adventure! It has a great gated parking structure to keep your vehicle safe and sound. It is right next door to the village and an easy walk to the lifts. The decorations and general feeling of the house remind you of home making the experience more than enjoyable. At the end of the day the hot tub warms you up as you enjoy the wonderful snowy mountain view.

First off, I would say I would return and use this rental again: awesome location, nice deck and the unit was modern and clean. It wasn't perfect but pretty good, and definitely worth the price. Everything was good except a few things: like there is no oven, only a 'microwave / oven' which worked ok but not perfect. Also, I think the couch needs to be cleaned. It reminded me of my sister's house (which has toddlers) - there is just something not clean about it. Otherwise, great stay!

It was like walking into an Oasis! We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. It was close to the village so that you can walk to it. The kitchen was fully stocked and the furniture so comfortable. The best part was coming home after a long day of hiking and bike riding being able to soak in the jacuzzi. Thanks for making our stay in whistler to easy...we will definitely return to this lovely place.

The condo is located at the end of the Whistler village road, across from the health center. It was an easy walk to the gondola's, and all of the stores in town (although we opted to store our ski's and boots at the base of the mountain to avoid lugging them around). The condo was very clean, very quiet and a great place to relax after a day of skiing.

We spent the first night of our stay in Whistler at the Delta Suites before moving on to Sandy's home, which we had booked for a week. The contrast was incredible. The Delta was okay but chaotic and noisy - Sandy's place is a real home-from-home and, while it's away from the hubbub, it's a very short stroll from the village and all of it's activities. It's so close that we never once caught the bus to the slopes - it was a 10 minute or so walk each way and it was actually a really good start and end to the day; particularly as the end alwas involved stopping at the bars on the way home! Highly recommended and we look forward to staying there again.

Hi Sandy, This was an amazing week for us. Your condo was perfect to come home to and relax after long days of skiing! Being from New York city we loved the homey feel that Whistler and your home had to offer. We also had the opportunity to eat at some really good places all from your recommendations. 1. Apraxia 2. Rim rock cafe 3. Trattoria Di Umberto Our favorite après ski spot was Duhblins Gate in the Pan Pacific mountainside. The live band, Ruckus Deluxe was great to see after skiing. Also the free shuttle across the street made it so easy to get to and from the mountain every day. Thanks for offering your home to us and letting us stay for the week. We hope to be back here again.

The accommodation was lovely and clean and you could tell the owner takes great pride in the presentation of her home. There is a lovely warmth to this place and it has all the basic necessities. Hot tub is great and home is spacious and very well looked after.

We just returned from our trip to Whistler and the Granite Court Condominium. The unit exceeded our expectations. It was large and roomy for a one-bedroom with excellent finishes & decoration. My wife & I made use of the hot tub every day. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed; we enjoyed the BBQ as well. I would recommend this unit to anyone.
