WE HAVE AN INCREDIBLE LOCATION! Ski-In/Out or walk to Whistler Creekside Gondola base, Creekside amenities, shops and restaurants, as well as easy access to adult and kids ski school meeting places! You can also get to Blackcomb Mountain by uploading at Creekside then skiing over to Blackcomb. We are located on the slopes of Whistler Mountain on the side of Creekside. We are a short 5 min car or taxi ride to the main village. Taluswood is one of Whistler's most exclusive developments. Perched high on Whistler Mtn, it offers beautiful views, lots of living space, and easy access to the Creekside Gondola and ski school. Quiet, peaceful, and private. Taluswood sits at the top of Nordic Estates.

Beautiful, well appointed chalet in good location

The pictures on the web site do not do the chalet justice. We had two families in the chalet for 8 days, and found it to be very comfortable. It is spread over 4 levels so there is never any feeling of being crowded - lots of space for everyone, except in the kitchen. These are the pros and cons: The Pros: - great location - 4 comfortable bedrooms and 2 comfortable sofa beds - ski-in and walk to ski-out - well appointed with plates, glasses and wine glasses, utensils and cooking pans and pots - pool table is good and popular - nice fireplace - two balconies - gas BBQ off main floor deck - heated floors are great - the garage off the main floor and extra parking are super convenient - the complex was very quiet - almost no noise at all The Cons: - the ski-in and ski-out is not for beginners - there is a hot tub on the deck but it is not functional (we knew this in advance) - there is a communal hot tub but it is down the road and not convenient, so we never used it - the shower heads in the 3 showers are pretty bad - desperately need to be upgraded - the kitchen, while well appointed, is only big enough for one person to be in it at a time all in all, would go back again!

There are many ways to describe a place, but I will describe this by the home feeling that one feels when returning from a fun day of skiing. Entering into a heated floor room never felt better to the frozen feet. From there the high ceiling living room with stunning views of trees covered in snow and the mountain range just makes it feel like winter wonderland. Followed by some hot chocolate or a cold beer and one feels complete. The nice kitchen and the cozy fireplace in the living room meant that we ate dinner every night in, told countless stories and the night was filled with laughter. Then off to bed in the spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds, get up the next day and repeat!! Awesome vacation! Thank you for providing such a great place for a perfect vacation.

A place to feel like a millionaire in the great rental. Walk in to a heated floor in the lobby makes sure your boot are warm and dry every day, a living space with double height vaulted ceilings and views across to the mountain. Really well equipped modern kitchen and plenty of space for everyone. Bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of hanging space (very different from the European model) and two of those also have their own balcony with views. We were too idle to ski in ski out as it was early season and the short drive to the slopes and easy parking next to the slopes and shops of both Whistler and Creekside was too easy! The media room with massive screen and pool table was a real treat. Would suit family or friends equally as it is so spacious and the integral garage means minimal effort for carrying stuff about (no stairs up to the house).

Fabulous Whistler Home at a Great Price

The photos on this home's website do not do it justice. The place is massive, occupying 4 distinct levels. It was well stocked and in a gorgeous subdevelopment. Very fairly priced in comparison to neighboring units. The ski in could not be easier, if its snowing you can literally ski right into the garage. The ski out is no more than 5 minute walk and easy access to creekside gondola (however it is true that the ski in/out is only appropriate for intermediate level skiers or better). The media room is awesome. We watched the super bowl on the massive projection screen, and there is even a small fridge down there to keep the drinks cool. Community hot tub was never crowded and just a short walk down the hill and frequently serviced. Great Place!!! Owners were very prompt to answer any questions, great service.

Michael was a joy to work with. He gave us clear instructions for our stay and provided good local recommendations on restaurants. The house was large and comfortable, definitely great for a big family.
