Enjoy our FREE valet service at day's end; they will secure your equipment till you head out for another wonderful day in the mountains. And for Apres Ski, relax in one of the 3 slope-side hot tubs under the stars, or swim in the year-round heated outdoor pool. Heaven! Watch skiers glide down the mountain, and kids sled on the lit ski hill at night, or go and have a drink around the outdoor fire pits at the beautiful Chateau Whistler right next door.

Property Description

This new, well-appointed, designer renovated condo faces southeast for your light and bright stay in Whistler! You can see the slopes from the sofa while drinking coffee in the morning planning your day on the mountain.

Park below in the secure, indoor garage, and take the elevator up to our unit on the 3rd floor.

Upon entering, the open, bright, kitchen is on the right, hall closet on the left. The open plan dining/living room is directly ahead with a slider out to the private balcony and great view. Queen sofa bed in living room opposite the fireplace and TV/DVD. Guest bedroom with King and twin bunk beds, TV/DVD, and adjacent full bath are to the left of the dining room. Master bedroom with king bed, TV, and ensuite bath is to the right.

All new linens, down duvets, and pillows for your total comfort! The laundry, computer room, and ski shop are just down the stairs or elevator, on the first floor of the building. There is also an espresso cart in the lobby where you can also grab a coffe!

The Aspens is situated at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, beside the Wizard Express chairlift.  Click your skis on and off you go!

This is a premiere ski in/out location for its ease of access!

It is just steps above the 5 star Chateau Fairmont hotel, which has great Spa facilities available to the public, and boasts our favorite lounge and piano singer, has great food, outdoor fire pits! A perfect neighbor!

The Aspens complex is in a quiet location, yet close to it all.  The building is on the free bus whistler-wide shuttle system, and 3 blocks from public tennis courts.

It is also on the Valley trail system for bike, x-country ski, and hiking and Lost Lake is a 1K away.

We prefer to walk, as everything is so close. It is a beautiful to walk to town through the woods, over the covered bridge, with the roaring river below. You will never need your car once you arrive!

Cancellations Made by Guests Deposits are non-refundable. Balance payment is refundable, less 6% transaction fees, if booking is cancelled 60 days or greater in advance. Reservations cancelled 59 days or less in advance are refunded only if we replace your booking.

Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests will pay any above normal cleaning costs.
Excessive Noise Noise beyond normal conversation levels that bothers others. Eviction will occur if guests create excessive noise.
Garbage Removal Guests are responsible to dispose of garbage from unit days when unit is not serviced. Garbage located outside by main lobby

Liability We assume no liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to/from or while on resort property.

Apartment in a great location on lower slopes

We had a great 9 day stay and particularly loved the location. The kids were beginners but could easily manage the short ski to be Backcomb lift from the apartment complex. We also loved having an apres drink at the Fairmont Hotel next-door. We also had breakfast there one day which was amazing and highly recommended.

The apartment accommodated 2 adults and 3 young kids - having a bunk plus a double bed in the kids bedroom was a real bonus. Using the hot tub was a lovely and social way to end a day skiing. Unfortunately the pool was out of order for our stay.

The main area for improvement was the cleanliness - the carpet was in need of a deep clean or replacement.

Aspens Stay - Review

Although we really like the Aspens - layout of the units and location - this unit in particular although is has good features - the (carpet) is not well maintain (cleaness/use) and sofa bed contributed to allergies. Also there were few items such as light bulbs, sundries that were not properly provided. Allyson was very responsive initially, however we had an issue as a small/minor damage in a cabinet was attributed to our family - in an unfair way - as such was not caused by us - retaining the security deposit. This was a bad experience (and first time we face this issue) - as there was little communication after the incident (responsiveness) - and lack of clarity on who/what caused this (cleaners, other guest ?). Due to this would not recommend the property - nor unfortunately working w Allyson - if such things were corrected - i would reconsider.

Good family friendly condo with excellent location. However, there was no a/C and the condo became really hot. There was also no insuite laundry, which was a little inconvenient. The balcony was filthy, but a cleaner was sent right away to take care of it. Very comfortable living room couch, and lots of beds. Carpet was a bit old. Lovely paintings throughout. Kitchen was fully equipped. If it wasn't for the a/c, it would have been an excellent stay.

The only issues we had was that the plugs in the bathrooms didn't seem to work with hair dryers or straighteners, we basically had to dry our hair in the bedrooms. Also there wasn't very much toilet paper in the room (especially since it was meant to accommodate 8 people). There were no spare rolls and we had to go to the other suite we rented to take some so that we had enough in both bathrooms for the weekend.

I would suggest putting clearer instructions (or any if possible) on where to find the garbage bins or how to get a fob for the pool, or where to get extra pool towels. Because this was an owner suite the front desk didn't have much information, so it was a bit confusing.

Other than that the stay was wonderful, the room was nice (a little hot during the day). Thanks!

Nice location but the unit could use some TLC

We've stayed in the Aspens several times previously and really like the location on the mountain. And this unit does have a lot of space. However, the unit left us wanting in several aspects:

* The unit wasn't clean. It clearly had been cleaned, but just not very thoroughly. For example, we found socks and underwear from prior visitors on the floor beneath the edges of the beds.
* Kitchen amenities were barely acceptable. There were missing or broken implements (e.g., the only spatula was broken, no large spoon). I don't think I found even one combination of pot and lid that fit together.
* TV remotes with dead batteries and burned-out light bulbs in some fixtures.
* The most accessible electrical outlets were so loose that plugs wouldn't stay plugged in. I've never seen this before and would make me nervous about their safety.
* Bed linens didn't fit. The fitted sheet would come off every night and we'd awake finding ourselves having slept directly on the mattress (no mattress pad under fitted sheet).

We'd certainly stay in the Aspens again in a future visit but would take our chances on a different unit.

Apt was fine, property management co. was bad

The apartment was met my expectations, based on the listing and was of good value. However, the property manager, Allyson Sutton, was unpleasant to deal with. My damage deposit was a returned a month after my check-in , and only after I inquired about it. The alluraDirect website states it will be returned within 15 days.

Furthermore, the manager requested I use Paypal, as her etransfer service was supposedly down. She then paid the exact deposit amount only, meaning I got stuck with the PayPal fee. The unit floors where filthy, under the bed where socks book and other things not to mention...and the drapes are bad go half the way..would love the place with new flooring and light airy drapes..getting rid of the gloom...nice beds and litle tuches..and thanks for the first track ticets..was a nice suprise.

Great time!

We stayed here for a weekend getaway with 8 girl friends and had a great time. The condo was very clean and had enough room for a group of friends who's ok with sharing a small space. The facilities were clean and the staff was very nice. As long as you read the emails (which includes info on where the garbage is, how to use the hot tub etc.) everything is quite straight forward! Would stay here again.

My only complaint is that I emailed the property management company in advance with a few questions I had about parking and I didn't get a reply to 2 of the emails. I understand though that it is a very busy time and I did get my questions answered from the staff at The Aspens.

Other than that, a great stay!

Disappointing stay all around at The Aspens

We were extremely disappointed in our stay at the Aspens. The entire building was under renovation and there was very limited access to the facilities advertised in the listing (hot tub, pools, etc.) which was very disappointing considering we picked this spot based on the amenities over another place that was located much closer to Whistler Village.

The post was deceiving and not up to date - there wasn't any water in the pool at all, and yet the listing suggested that it is a year-round pool! The hallways were completely unfinished (no flooring at all) and the surrounding common areas outside of the room were a mess. We couldn't even access the elevators near our room on check-out day and had to walk to the other side of the building to get out. People (construction workers mostly) were knocking on our door multiple times a day to check on things and fix things, again we had no idea that this would be the case.

There was no way we would have known this as this information was not disclosed to us upon booking. There are many other places in Whistler that offer a better room and amenities for the price that we paid and we are sorely disappointed in our experience at the Aspens. We will not be staying here again, nor will we be recommending it to others.

Comfortable and great location

The service was fantastic and I was able to reach the person in charge quickly and easily.
There were a few dirty dishes in the cupboards.
We could not figure out how to turn on the fireplace or how to get in to the hot tub area - there were no instructions about either of these things in the information sheet - we managed to be let in to the hot tub by other residents.
The place was clean and comfortable and the welcome courtesy snacks and oatmeal were a really nice touch.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I would MOST definitely stay here again. It is a short walk to the village and a beautiful area.

My friends and I loved staying here for the 2 nights. It was clean, spacious, and I loved the number of beds it has. Allyson was very prompt and thorough with her replies. I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. It's in a quiet area of Whistler and is close enough to the main village area.

Generally a good experience but there are small details that need to be taken care of. Also, in previous stays in other properties at Aspens there was a full clean up at the middle of our stay including changing sheets and towels, which was not the case this time even when we stayed 9 nights

Carpet needs to be cleaned, and it was really dusty when we arrived. One of the irons doesn't work, when we plugged it in it started to smoke.
