Our recently renovated two bedroom townhome wraps you in warmth with distressed wood interior, rust wrought iron finishings, and heated slate tiles, a great choice for your next vacation! Our unit has an open main floor, with a cozy bedroom to the side, and the master bedroom is up a wide staircase, with an opening (and closing!) window to the living area below. The Living Room is the perfect place to relax, listen to the DENON stereo, watch satellite TV, or just chat over hot chocolate. The heated slate flooring keeps you comfortable and the distressed pine furniture with rust wrought iron accents take you away to a cabin deep in the woods. Lights above the couch can be bright for reading, or dimmed for the romantic moments. The sliding glass doors lead to a small balcony with BBQ and chairs to relax and enjoy the view of Blackcomb Mountain.
There is room to sit six at the distressed pine table, and lighting above the table can be dimmed to suit your mood!

Reservation & Cancellation Policies
|Cancellations Made by Guests||30 days advance notice. Deposit and final payment are non-refundable unless we are able to replace your reservation. If the reservation is replaced a 4% credit card fee plus a $50.00 processing fee will apply.|
|Courtesy Hold Reservations||Deposit Required. Reservations are confirmed with your payment.|
|Delayed Arrivals||Non-refundable. We are not responsible for delayed arrivals for any reason beyond our control. Any unused nights are non-refundable.|

|Guest Account Termination||The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. |Ineligible Guests: 24 Hour Reservation Reversal||The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Reservations may be cancelled up to a maximum of 48 hours from the time the ineligible Guest made the booking. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Guest Stay Policies
|Check-In Time||4:00pm. Earlier check-ins may be available, upon owner's discretion.|
|Check-Out Time||10:00am. Later check-outs may be available, at owner's discretion.|
|Complaints Concerning Property||Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.|
|Excessive Noise||Quiet hours are 11:00 pm- 8:00am. Fines may be enforced.|
|Housekeeping||If your stay is 7 days or more, mid-stay cleans are provided on the 4th day. Additional mid-stay cleans can be provided for a nominal charge.|
|Liability||We are exluded from liability for personal bodily injury in our home, while in transit to, or while on resort property.|
|Maintenance Emergencies||24 Hour Cell phone. Number provided in Confirmation package.|
|Maximum Sleeping Capacity||5. Exceeding maximum will result in eviction.|
|Property Damage||Guest authorizes up to a $500.00 CAD charge on their credit card upon departure in the event of property damage. Damage includes, but is not restricted to: noise fines, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost, broken or missing items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior.|

|My safety tips for drivers new to Hwy 99||Drive up during daylight hours. There has been major improvements on the Sea to Sky Hwy, but they are still working on it. Be safe!|
|My recommended non-skiing winter activities||Try the new Tube park on Blackcomb Mountain. It is a blast! Only pay for an hour, it is enough. You really whip down the hill, it was a perfect activity for our 10 and 12 yr olds, and us (30+++ yr olds). I couldn"t stop squealing all the way down.|
We have owned our unit at the Gables for over 19 years. Our family has changed from just the two of us and a baby boy, to where our son is now almost 20 years old, and our daughter is almost 18! Going to Whistler to relax, and spend quality family time, away from the day-to-day demands is time we treasure. We had a great vacation in Whistler. The location right on the village trail couldn't be better. Our car never left the parking garage! Be sure to read Kandy's excellent instructions carefully prior to arriving to avoid any confusion over parking and getting into the condo when you arrive. Gables is our favorite location to stay for skiing W/B. This unit is was perfect size for our family of 4. Great service form Kandy. She was immediately available to remedy problem when code didn't work at check in - thankful we weren't stuck waiting on the landing for long. Heated floors are nice! Internet availability was a nice perk too. Only complaint - the dryer. We didn't understand symbols for the dryer settings and couldn't get clarification on how it worked or confirmation whether it really worked correctly. By trial and error, we got things "sort of" dry before the next day. Directions to work all other devices in condo are clear, suggest they add dryer directions.

We love the location, the gourmet kitchen for cooking those romantic meals while enjoying some easy listening music, a cosy fire and a glass of wine. This is a perfect getaway from everyday life in a mountain setting.
