This house is amazing - This is the best ski in and ski out that Sun Peaks has to offer!!!!  It backs onto the Gentle Giant ski run.  You can see the platter lift from the house.

Anyone who desires a memorable family vacation or reunion should consider our home for your vacation.

This home is very unique and spacious with 2,690 square feet of indoor space as well as outdoor private deck areas with a private hot tub. This amazing 3-floor home includes 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a 2 car garage plus outside parking for 2 more vehicles, and 2 gas fireplaces.

Upon entering this home, you will be amazed at the openness and the modern feel.  The entrance is on the main floor along with the kitchen, dining and great room areas.  The master bedroom with ensuite is on the main floor as well as a 2nd bedroom, powder room, custom stone gas fireplace, covered patio and floor to ceiling windows looking up to the mountains and ski runs.

The lowest level has a living room, a ski storage room with ski in and out access, a full bathroom with shower, and a private hot tub just outside the door.  You can ski right to the ski room door and enter the house after skiing on this level.

The top floor overlooks down to the main floor, with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with a tub.

This house has been designed to accommodate several families to stay together for a maximum of 14 people.

We have endeavored to equip our home with all the comforts that you enjoy in your own home to make your vacation as memorable and comfortable as possible.

Everything in our Chalet is top quality and brand new (completed in March 2018).  We plan to personally enjoy our Chalet during the year and we take great pride in our home. In order to maintain our vacation home as a 5 star experience, we will only rent to guests who will treat our home as their own. If you are planning on partying heavily and being disrespectful, please do not rent our home. This is NOT a party house. this is a FAMILY CHALET and we only want to rent to respectful families and their friends so that you may experience Sun Peaks in a comfortable and cozy setting, as we so often do.

Fantastic place to stay!!

My wife and I, and our four children, stayed at Cindy's place in Sun Peaks for the first week of Spring Break. It was outstanding. We could easily have fit a second family with us, but equally it didn't feel too big for just us. The location is amazing (literally, the perfect unit for ski in / ski out), the bedrooms were spacious, the hot tub was great, the open plan design was excellent, etc etc etc .

And I know it's a minor thing, but a lot of VRBOs seem to minimize any little things you might need during your stay (salt/pepper, cooking oil, pots/pans, extra linen, etc) - I know it's trivial, but Cindy's place had all of those little things that we might need. If we owned a place, this is what we would want and this is how we would keep it furnished/maintained - for me, that's the ultimate compliment in a rental accommodation.

If you're looking to go to Sun Peaks, and you can afford this place, you can't go wrong.

This house has the best location!  From the ski room door, you can put on your skiis and ski directly onto the "Gentle Giant" run - only about 25 feet away.

When you return to the house, you can also ski right up to the back door.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days Check-in and arrival instructions will be emailed upon balance payment.
Cancellations Made by Guests For cancellations made 60 days or more before the rental, refunds will be issued. Cancellations made with less than 60 days prior to the start of the rental will be refunded if dates can be re-booked. Refunds will be issued for re-booked dates at the re-booked price. All refunds are subject to a 4% cancellation fee. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Cancellations Made by Owners We reserve the right to cancel your booking due to a late payment or if you violate any of our published policies. All payments are non-refundable.

Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site

Guest Stay Policies

Guest agrees to abide by the Rental Rules at all times while at the property and shall cause all members of the rental party and anyone else the Guest permits on the property to abide by the following rules at all times while at the property. Guest shall allow Homeowner access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection. Homeowner shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.

Check-In Time 4:00 pm
Check-Out Time 10:00 am Check-out procedures: Load and run the dishwasher. Please ensure all your dishes are cleaned. Please leave the house and property tidy. Place all used linens in the laundry room and run 1- 2 loads of laundry. Clean excessive debris in house and on decks, explosions in fridge, freezer, microwave, and oven. Clean BBQ, if used, turn off gas, place cover on, and clean all BBQ utensils.
Parking & Ticketing There is parking space in the driveway for 3 vehicles, as well as 2 vehicles in the garage. Please be considerate of the parking for the tenants in the basement suite and please do not block their access. Sun Peaks does not allow street parking most of the year. Overnight parking may be available elsewhere in the resort – please call Guest Services to inquire. The Municipality has restricted parking to a maximum of 3 vehicles in the driveway. If you park more than 3 vehicles in the driveway, you may receive a ticket. If you receive a ticket or warning from a Bylaws officer, the homeowners may also be subjected to a fine. If that occurs, the amount of the fine will be deducted from your damage deposit.
Excessive Noise Please respect quiet time from 11 pm-7 am. There is a tenant in the basement suite. Bylaw complaints for noise may result in a fine to the renter.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity The maximum number of guests is limited to 14 persons. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
Garbage Removal There is a transfer station just past the village. If you are able, you can deposit all your garbage and recycling here during business hours. If not, the cleaners will remove a reasonable amount of garbage (based on length of stay and number of guests) at the end of your stay. Excessive garbage fees may apply.
Housekeeping There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens (guests could provide their own sleeping bag and pillows if using the futon) and bath towels are included, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels for the local pool and for use in the hot tub. Towels or linens are not to be taken from the property. Guests are required to leave the house tidy. The house will be thoroughly cleaned prior to each rental period. Please report any concerns immediately upon your arrival.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Guests authorize a credit card charge for excessive cleaning costs. Extra charges will apply, and will be deducted from the damage deposit for: - emergency call out by the tenants to the management company for issues that arise during your stay that cannot be rectified over the phone (ie. Excessive noise complaints about the tenants, excessive parking complaints, requesting additional supplies, lost keys or codes, etc) - checking out after 10 am - cleaning up of bottles, garbage, excessive debris on floors and counters and decks, burnt on spills on cooktop or in oven, cleaning of explosions in microwave, fridge, or freezers.
Terms of Eviction Terms of eviction: Smoking inside the house, pets inside, underage renters, excessive noise between 11 pm and 7 am, disorderly conduct, evidence of property damage, disturbing the peace, excess of over 14 occupants, complaints received regarding renter behaviour. Payments are not refundable if guests are evicted
Liability We encourage all renters to purchase traveller insurance. Owners are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests, or guests of guests while on our property. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

Rental Accommodation Zoning
Ski & Snowboard Gear Storage Damage or excessive cleaning to the property due to your equipment will result in extra charges to your credit card.
Internet Availability & Usage Illegal downloads forbidden. Should we receive notification that such activity has occurred, the Guest responsible will be immediately evicted and charged for damages.
Locking Door Guests are required to securely lock all doors and entrances when they are not in the unit or upon departure.
Property Damage A claim for damages will occur within 1 week after the departure date if the property incurs: i. damage to the property or furnishings or missing items; ii. dirt or other mess requiring excessive cleaning; iii. hot tub draining due to contamination: or iv. any other cost incurred by Homeowner due to Guest’s stay (ie. excessive garbage removal, replacement of broken items, etc). v. the homeowner receives any fines from the municipality as a result of the tenants – ie – parking violations, noise complaints, excessive noise after 11 pm, etc vi. any extra fees from the cleaners as a result of the guests stay If the premises appear dirty or damaged or if items are missing upon Check-in, Guest shall inform Homeowner immediately. Complaints concerning property: Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Amenity Terms of Use Please respect all private and common amenities of the property. Damage or excessive cleaning to any amenity will be charged to the Guest responsible. The private/locked areas are exempt from this lease agreement and are off limits to the Guest. Forced entry into these areas or disturbance of these items is cause for immediate termination and the Guest will be charged for the damage and/or missing items.

Snow Guarantee We cannot guarantee snow conditions, which are out of our control. If there is mountain closure during your winter stay, please contact us about a partial refund, which may be possible but not guaranteed.
