We really enjoyed this home during our stay in Whistler. It is located just outside of the busiest areas but within walking distance to everything. The home was very clean and nicely furnished. It was a great place to enjoy time as a family.

We spent a wonderful long weekend in this Montebello home. Fabulous location, comfortable home with all the amenities you'd want. An extra bonus is the outside area with the hot tub. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the sun and enjoyed the hot tub.

We also appreciated the owners checking in with us via email on our second night just to check everything was ok. Highly recommend this property.

We reserve the right to reuse accommodation upon arrival to guests who have booked over the internet, phone or through a third party and do not meet the minimum age requirements as stated above. Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests Deposits are non-refundable. Balance payment is refundable, less 6% transaction fees, if booking is cancelled 60 days or greater in advance. Reservations cancelled 59 days or less in advance are refunded only if we replace your booking.
Courtesy Hold Reservations Requested dates are not placed on hold prior to payment unless specifically negotiated in advance as this site allows for live reservations.
Delayed Arrivals Delayed arrivals are not a problem. Refunds will not be issued for delayed arrivals.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Complete resort information, arrival check-in instructions will be sent upon final payment.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site
Ineligible Guests Reservation Reversal The Owner or their Contact reserves the right to cancel reservations made by, and refuse business to: Guests who do not meet the policies published in this property's Policies Table at the time of booking and past Guests known to have : intentionally violated rental property policies, damaged and/or defaced rental properties through intentionally destructive and/or negligent behavior, engaged in theft, broken local bylaws and laws, committed fraud or who misrepresented themselves, and Guests who have caused bodily or emotional harm to any third parties. Guests will be issued a refund by personal cheque. Refunds will be adjusted for any payment processing expenses
Late Reservation Payments Failure to pay by due dates will result in automatic cancellation without refund.

Reservation Changes Property Sale/Damage - We relocate you to a comparable property. If there are any rate increases associated with the move, we will contribute up to $100 CAD per night towards rate equalization. You may lengthen your reservation if availability permits. If you would like to shorten your reservation, please note that your deposit calculated on the original amount is non-refundable. If you have already paid the balance, then your balance is similarly non-refundable.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Excessive cleaning costs will be the responsibility of the guest.
Excessive Noise Excessive noise is not permitted and can result in fines or eviction. There is zero tolerance for excessive noise at Montebello and any other disturbance such as vibration, smell etc... Each incident will result in a $200 fine to the guest.
Housekeeping Complimentary: upon arrival and departure. Additional cleaning can be scheduled upon request.

Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or at any location in Whistler.

About Us

Ken and Barbara Lewis are outdoor enthusiasts that enjoy escaping to Whistler any chance we get to enjoy the fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery.  Over the years we have stayed in many vacation rentals throughout Whistler and when we discovered Montebello a few years ago we knew we had found the perfect fit for our family.  We found the property is close enough to the village to walk for groceries yet far enough away for peaceful evenings around the fire or in the hot tub.  We found Montebello also has easy access to the ski slopes in the winter and the mountain biking and hiking trails around Lost Lake in the summer.  Our family home is only an hour away in Lions Bay on the Sea-to-Sky Highway, midway between West Vancouver and Squamish, so we are close by if needed.  Our two grown ‘children’ live in the Vancouver area as well so we all relish our family time together in Whistler.
