Feels like home, only better!

This was our second stay at Cottonwood and we had a wonderfully relaxed visit. Kaslo is a beautiful little community in every way. Beautiful to look at. Beautiful people. Beautiful weather. Beautiful cottage. Beautiful view. Every need was met and when it came time to head home, we didn't want to leave. We really enjoyed the restaurants, as well, and spent a lovely afternoon at Ainsworth Hot Springs. Book you holiday at Cottonwood Cottage. You won't regret it!

Fabulous cottage and location!

We had a fabulous stay at Cottonwood Cottage! Several of us met at the cottage for a reunion and it made for a perfect weekend getaway. The house is beautiful, clean, massive, and very well kept. The kitchen and dining area are well suited for cooking for large groups. The bedrooms are cozy and well located throughout the house... and the upstairs shower is amazing!!

We went for beach walks and local hikes, sat around the large fire pit at night, went to the hot springs, and spent time checking out cute Kaslo. There's lots to do in the area and the cottage is ideally situated in a quiet, beautiful location that offers lots of privacy.

The only things to note are that there is extremely limited cell phone reception at the cottage and the wifi only works sporadically throughout the house. Other than that, it was perfect.

Beautiful spot! I am hesitant to write a great review because people will flock to Cottonwood Cottage and there won't be any space left for me next summer! Lol. I wish I could stay here forever. The lake is peaceful, quiet, huge, and incredibly beautiful. The cottage is gorgeous! Get online and reserve your spot as soon as possible! You won't regret it.

We take this policy very seriously and make sure it is strictly adhered to. Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed inside this property. The tenant will be liable for fumigation and extra cleaning costs if smoking is detected by house cleaning staff.
Pets Pets are welcome. However, we expect guests to be completely responsible for their pets and liable for any special cleaning costs or damage to any part of the house or surrounding property.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Noise Complaints of excessive noise will result in eviction without refund. Please be considerate to your neighbors.
Garbage Removal There will be an extra $20.00 CAD charge for garbage removal which will be added to your bill.
Housekeeping Provided before arrival and after departure. Additional housekeeping may be available on request at your expense.
Internet Availability & Usage Internet service is provided by a third party. We cannot be held responsible if there is a lack of quality service at any time.
Liability We are not responsible for any bodily harm to guests or guests of guests while they are on our property or on Kootenay lake.

Maximum Sleeping Capacity Sleeping capacity is 12 people. Additional persons will result in immediate eviction.
Property Damage Guests assume all financial responsibility for property damage incurred be tenants or guests and authorize up to $1500.00 CAD charge on their credit card upon departure in the event of property damage. By accepting our guest stay contract with online payment, you agree to pay us all damages that you incur. Damage includes but is not restricted to: Noise complaints, common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost, broken or missing common or private property items, smoking inside the property, and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding property occupant's behavior while in the property or common premises.
Rental Accommodation Zoning This property is legally zoned for either short term or long term rental accommodation use.
Terms of Eviction The following conditions and circumstances will result in eviction from our property: Smoking, excessive noise, damage from pets or more overnight guests than permitted.

As you walk in you will see the queen bedroom to the left and around the corner is the bunk room with full bathroom. Walk straight into the beautiful kitchen and just beyond is the dining room with incredible mountain/Lake views.

Upstairs is the cozy Master Bedroom with ensuite and large patio with the same stunning views.

The propert has a double garage with an entrance that leads to the spacious in-law suite with half bathroom.  This beautiful room also has a large patio with views.
