Welcome to our cozy Kaslo condo!

We are situated on Kootenay Lake, 45 minutes from Nelson, 4 hours from Vernon, in the West Kootenays.  Local attractions include Ainsworth Hot Springs- 20 min. away,and  Sandon, an old mining ghost town 30 min.away. The most spectacular mountain vistas provide inspiration for artists and outdoor enthusiasts. There are no shortage of rivers, streams, waterfalls and lakes. It is a fabulous getawy any season, as each season has it's beauty in this setting. Enjoy the hot tub and beach. 

There is a comfortable queen bedroom, balcony access, closet, and a full bathroom. The second bedroom is a den, no closet or window, but bunk beds and French doors with 1/2 bathroom across hall. A $10/ night per person  surcharge applies for use of second bedroom.

Kaslo is about a 45 min. drive from the city of Nelson, in the Purcell mountains.  Whitewater ski mountain is out of Nelson.

Ainsworth Hot Springs - 20 min. away brings visitors from all over the world during all seasons.

Kaslo hosts the annual Kaslo Jazz Fest every summer.

The condo is right on Kootenay Lake with a spectacular view.

Cancellations Made by Guests last minute cancellations are subject to 50% loss of fees
Delayed Arrivals please check with Wanda 250-353-2680 for arrival time to arrange getting the keys.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Wanda 250-353-2680 lives in Kaslo and holds the keys. There is a $20 deposit for keys as return of keys to Wanda is mandatory.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Guests may be given the chance to reconcile with the Owner as a condition of preserving or reversing their account status. Account termination prevents the Guest from booking this or any other property that uses the same web site

Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Noise not tolerated. This is a quiet place.
Garbage Removal There are garbage/recycling bins in the underground parking area. Guests are responsible to remove their own garbage from the suite.
Housekeeping condo will be cleaned after departure. There is a washer and dryer in suite.
Internet Availability & Usage Wireless internet is available. Please ask Wanda for code.
Liability renters are liable for all or any damage to any part of the building.
Maintenance Emergencies call Wanda 250-353-2680 or the building maintenance manager number on front door entrance.
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 4 people only
Noise Restrictions This is a quiet building.
Property Damage renters will be charged for any property damage.
Rental Accommodation Zoning rentals allowed in building.
Terms of Eviction excessive noise or any damage to property will result in eviction with no refunds.

Property Details

Marina Ridge is a 30 unit condo building on a bay on Kootenay Lake. 

The marina is out front for easy boat access. The owners number will be given if needed.

The walk to town is about 15 min. but a 2 min. drive.

 All condos are privately owned, and only a few are rentals. Our particular condo has the biggest, best deck!

This is a small but well equipped condo. It is best suited to a couple. The bedroom is private with balcony access. The den has a bunk beds with a double on the bottom and a single on the top.The  1/2 bathroom is  across hall. Thus another 3 people could sleep there.

Karry and Brent have owned this condo since new.  We have decorated with local art, and fun colours. We visit as much as possible, and always enjoy the lake, mountains, riverwalk, hot springs, and of corse the quaint little town of Kaslo. The views in eve direction are spectacular.
