Clean and well-equipped!

John and Linda's condo is well equipped, clean, and very comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights with our two young boys and it was perfect for our needs. The ski-in/ski-out access is right off Hummingbird and takes you down to 3 chair lifts for convenient access to beginner and more advanced runs. The king bed was very comfortable, and the remodelled kitchen has all the basic necessities you need. Thank you John and Linda for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back again soon!

Covid in the way

Comfortable & convenient

We found the property to be as described, which is always pleasing. The unit is extremely comfortable, with a welcoming, warm, homely feel - new, modern, clean furnishings & finishes. Everything in good condition. The unit is the perfect size for a couple, or perhaps a family with small children - there is only one bathroom & toilet - so if more than two adults, it could be a little cramped. There is one bedroom, plus a foldout sofabed in the living area.

The main bed is BIG & very comfortable. Heating is great & the gas fireplace a nice extra. The kitchen is so well equipped, with thoughtful extras like cooking oils, sugar, coffee etc., found in the cupboards. Plenty of storage room for food, clothes, luggage etc.

The location is also handy, with ski out straight under the Plaza chair down to Ridge Rocket & Snow Ghost chairs. Returning is also easy via the village & Hummingbird run. We loved it & would book again. Great value.

This is a non-smoking unit. Skis, poles and snowboards are NOT PERMITTED inside of the unit. A private locker in a secure, heated room is provided for storage of skis, poles and snowboards. TO BOOK/RENT THIS UNIT YOU MUST AGREE TO ADHERE TO ALL OF OUR POLICIES.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Arrival Days Not restricted.
Reservation Changes Reservations may be changed in compliance with our cancellation policy. Guests can rebook dates if they are still available; deposit will not be re-charged. A change fee of 4% of the total cost of the originally booked dates, will be charged to cover credit card processing fees.
Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable, unless the booking can be replaced with another booking with dates identical to the cancelled booking. If we cannot replace your cancelled booking in it's entirety, your refund will be based on the number of nights rebooked and the rate at which the nights were rebooked; refunds will be subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the cancelled booking's total cost.

Website Service Fee Website Service Fees are non-refundable, with the exception to reservations made before March 15, 2020. If there is an officially mandated COVID travel restriction being imposed by the countries where the property and/or guest is located, website service fees may be usable as a credit. To claim this credit review, the restriction must be in place up to 14 days prior to your rental arrival date. All refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and any currency exchange difference will not be covered. Please contact between 1-14 days before your cancelled arrival date to have reviewed. Flight cancellations alone will not be approved, a copy of the official Government issued restriction will be required.

Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
COVID Contact Tracing Requirements The property owner must be able to produce a list of guests who have occupied their rentals for contact tracing protocols in the event of an outbreak. The guest must provide names of whop will be occupying the rental property during their rental agreement.
COVID Maximum Guest Limitation The number of people is limited to the capacity of the space, plus a maximum of five visitors at any given time. Large gatherings will be removed from the premises and no refund will be provided.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Charged to your credit card.
Excessive Noise You will be evicted without refund. Please be considerate of your neighbors.
Garbage Removal Removal by houskeeping upon departure. See recycling guide in unit for more information
Housekeeping Complimentary cleaning before and after stay. Weekly cleaning with stays longer than 7 days.

Property Damage Guest authorizes up to a $500 CA charge on their credit card upon departure in the event of property damage. Damage included, but not restricted to: common or private property damage, excessive cleaning charges, lost or broken or missing items, smoking inside the property, pets inside the property, and all charges relating to security company or police involvement regarding propoerty occupant's behavior while in the property or on common premises.

This is not an ordinary convertible bed. It is a Queen Comfort Sleeper sofa made in the USA by American Upholstery. The firm mattress on a solid wood platform is very supportive and comfortable.

About Us

Welcome to The Legacy!  

Hello...we are John and Linda Woelders from Chilliwack, in the farming community of Greendale.  We have been skiing at Big White for over 25 years and have been owners on the hill for that time.  The kids grew up learning to ski here and now the grandkids.  With the recent purchase of Legacy 406 we are excited to do some renovations and make the unit a pleasant and cozy place to stay!
