Welcome to the Red House! On one of Sun Peaks’ finest streets, this comfy, luxurious  4 bed, 4 bath high end chalet is perfect for a vacation with familyand friends. Sleeps 12 in comfort... 2 master suites (1 king & 1 queen) and 2 double bunk rooms. Each with own bathroom.  

Private hot tub under cover deck maintained daily and ample ski storage in the double garage or ski locker on the deck.  Plenty of room in the garage for 2 SUV‘s with roof storage.  The spacious sitting room boasts a gas fire and comfy sofas and a covered deck off the dining area .  A Chef’s kitchen with granite counters and high end Thermadore stainless steel appliances. New for this season, a Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother to help you hit the ground running...Wet bar area.

TELUS über high speed fibre broadband and Optik TV with Netflix available.

Ski in directly beside the house next door from Rambler (green).  The ski way beside the house also makes a great kids toboggan run!

Ski out to the main lifts is a 3 minute walk away along the level road.  A 7-10 min walk to and from the village center with shops, bars and restaurants. For those with little legs, the magic carpet lift brings you up 90% of the hill walking home from the village until 7pm on many nights. Many of our guests come back year after year. After many years coming to Sun Peaks this is our first time staying in this area. We absolutely loved the location, so close to the village & runs. The house is very spacious & comfortable. We had an issue with the hot tub but it was addressed & rectified very quickly. We would definitely consider returning to this lovely home.

Heated tile and slate floors, Soaker tub in one of the master bedrooms. Framless glass showers. Kitchen is a chef's dream. Gas stove, stainless steel appliances, granite counters, wine cooler, gas fireplace. Relax after skiing in the hot tub; a new one for this season accompanied by new steps and safety rail.

Located slopeside in phase V of Sundance Estates. Sundance Estates is an area of executive homes slopeside on Sundance mountain. The chalet faces south with great views of Mount Morrisey. Ski straight into the chalet off the Rambler run. Ski out is a short 5 house walk down hill along Sundance Drive to the top of the carpet lift.

Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Cancellations Made by Guests All payments are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued for re-booked dates at the re-booked price and are subject to a 4% cancellation fee. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Delayed Arrivals No refunds. We are not responsible for circumstances which result in delayed arrivals. Travel insurance is recommended to protect yourself against any unexpected events involving your lodging, flights or vacation-related products.
Delivery of Instructions and Access Information Instructions available in chalet. Door and Alarm codes will be provided 1 week before stay . Can be handled earlier if this conflicts with travel plans.
Guest Account Termination The Owner or their Contact reserve the right to request permanent Guest account inactivation from this web sites technical administrators in the event of one or more of the following Guest actions: intentional property policy violation causing material damage or fines, Guest misrepresentation and/or fraud, intentionally defacing or damaging public or private property, breaking laws and bylaws, theft, public indecency, harassment, causing bodily or emotional harm & disturbing the peace after repetitive warnings. Guests will be notified by email of account termination. Guests may choose to appeal their account termination. Complaints Concerning Property Report all property complaints or obvious damage caused by previous Guests to us immediately, by phone and by email as they become evident. Serious problems should be reported with supporting photographs. We will make our best efforts to rectify problems within 24 hours of notification. Failure to notify us of property-related problems while in the property and as they become evident, will forfeit any rights or claims against us regarding property condition after your departure.
Excessive Cleaning Costs Will be charged to your credit card. Routine end of stay clean-up, laundry and housekeeping is included in our rates.
Excessive Noise Please enjoy yourself reasonably. Sun Peaks Municipality has adopted a Noise abatement bylaw. A copy will be left on the bar counter for your review. It can also be downloaded from the Sun Peaks Municipality website. Any fines resulting from infractions will be charged back to the guest.
Garbage Removal Picked up by housekeepers at the end of stay. More frequent removal can be arranged for a fee. A municipal transfer station is situated at the entry to Sun Peaks if you wish to handle excess garbage on your own.
Hot Tub Please treat Hot Tub usage with respect. Avoid loud noise/ talking after 10pm.
Housekeeping Housecleaning at end of stay. Spare towels available . Additional housekeeping can be arranged for a fee,
Liability We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal possessions.
Locking Door Codes provided once reservation paid in full .
Maintenance Emergencies Contact owner, or on hill representative as indicated on the welcome information in the Chalet .
Maximum Sleeping Capacity 12 . Pursuant to Municipal regulation the unit can only accommodate a maximum of 8 adults. Children are not counted in the Municipal restriction. We limit the unit to a maximum of 12 people (of which only 8 can be adults)
Property Damage Guests credit card must be made availble to cover damage .
Rental Accommodation Zoning Our chalet is zoned for short or long-term rental.
Terms of Eviction Eviction will result from excessive noise, common or private property damage, disturbing the peace, evidence of pets or smoking, and will result in loss of rent and all deposits, and any fees as a result of the eviction process. These fees will be put on your credit card.

Property Details

2 story executive chalet, up from the attached double garage. 2 master bedrooms with full ensuites up the massive fir stairs. There is also a TV/ bunk room that sleeps up to 5, with a single over single bed and a single over double bed. This room has an adjacent bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The 4th bedroom on the main floor sleeps up to 4 on 2 single over single bunks with a bathroom and shower across the hall. 2 more can sleep on a pullout couch in the loft. The great room boasts a floor to ceiling fireplace and 16 foot vaulted ceiling.
