Ride the free shuttle starting before the lifts open and ending after the nightspots shut down. Maximum space = minimum tension. Groups get along better when they're not living on top of each other! Most units at Woodrun are larger than those you'll find in the Village area.

The Cons Shops and restaurants are at least a five minute walk from Woodrun. Accessing Whistler Village will either require a short walk down the mountain or riding the free shuttle. In the summer, there is no benefit to staying in a ski in/out location.
