Whistler Blackcomb Childcare, Kids & Teen Programs

Whistler Blackcomb has world-renowned ski/snowboard school programs for kids. Exploration of enchanted forests and magical castles brings a new adventure every day with the perfect blend of skill development, mountain exploration, social time and fun. Your child will create lasting memories and develop skills that will remain with him/her right through to adulthood. Why should your kids take Whistler Blackcomb Ski School Lessons?

But maybe your little one is too little to hit the slopes just yet. Don't worry. Whistler Blackcomb also offers excellent daycare programs for infants - 48 months.

Daycare for 3 - 48 months - Save up to 40% during Discover Whistler Days

All staff are Early Childhood Educators and have First Aid training. You will be given a complimentary pager so you can rest assured everything is fine and enjoy your ski day with total peace of mind. Child to staff ratio is 3 infants to 1 staff member and 4 toddlers to 1 staff member.

Children will never have a bored moment as they tap into their creative side, doing craft projects. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor activities and don't forget story time!

This is a fun, stimulating, age appropriate environment in three convenient locations - Whistler Base, Blackcomb Base, Creekside Base.

Private Lessons - Save up to $110 on lessons before December 13

Private lessons are tailored with your child's needs and pace in mind. Experience individual, personalized coaching or split the lesson (and the cost) with up to 4 other children. Naturally, a private lesson provides an accelerated learning environment and as a result, you can expect rapid progress. Terrain is chosen to fit your child's abilities and moods.

Want to spend more time with your children? Whistler Blackcomb can customize the private lesson for your family so you can ski and ride together and explore the mountains with your own instructor. Includes lift line priority.

Available for both skiers and riders in half day, full day or multiple days. Limited to a maximum of 5 people per class.

Prices range from $315 for half day, before December 13 - $625 for full day, regular season

3 - 12 Years - Group Lessons

Full day or Adventure Camp programs provide young mountain lovers everything from the basics to the terrain park to all over exploration. There is an emphasis on mountain fun, games and loads of laughs on specially designed children's terrain. Kids explore the areas not known to adults like Magic Forest, Blackcomb's Castle and Whistler's Tree Fort. They will progress at their own comfort rate and can take as many breaks as they need.

Full day lessons are available daily or for two consecutive days on Saturday/Sunday for skiers and snowboarders.

The Adventure Camp is Whistler Blackcomb's best group ski lesson program for kids. It's absolutely jam packed with fun events, weekly themes and activities. Your kids will become comfortable quickly as they have the same instructor all week. Five Day Ski Adventure Camps include après and a grab bag.

Groups are divided by age and ability:

3 - 4 year olds - maximum 5 students/group

5 - 7 year old - maximum of 7 students/group

8 - 12 year olds - maximum of 8 students/group. Twelve year olds have the option of registering in Ride Tribe. Parents/guardians should be aware of the extra responsibilities and freedom in this program. Twelve year olds in Ride Tribe will be grouped with teens up to 14 years old.

Ride Tribe - Group Programs for 13 - 18 Year Olds

Teens love this program because they can ski or ride with other teens their age and ability level. The Instructors are just slightly older than them so they know what's cool and where to go. The focus is fun with lots of ski or ride time.

Programs start daily and are offered for one or five days (Monday to Friday). Two day programs are also offered on the weekends, running Saturday - Sunday.

Five Day Camps are the best teen group lesson experience because they get the same instructor all week and cover tons of terrain – we're talking huge vertical every day. It will change the way they see the mountains. An unforgettable learning/fun/energizing/full tilt experience.

Groups are divided by age and ability. Limited to a maximum of 8 teens per class.

Prices range from $119 for full day - $579 for five day lesson during holiday season
