Whistler’s WinterPRIDE week is February 3 to 10th along with the fashionable Whistler gay ski week, known as the annual Gay & Lesbian Ski & Snowboard Festival on both Blackcomb and Whistler Mountain. Of course, Whistler’s WinterPRIDE will also feature a week full of parties at Whistler gay friendly bars including Buffalo Bill’s and the Whistler Conference Centre. This year’s top three events include the performance of Chad Michaels, the #1 Cher impersonator in the world. She is regarded as one of the most incredible performers in the industry and is known for captivating audiences of all demographics. Chad Michaels will be performing on Thursday, Feb 7 at the Mr. Gay Canada Grand Finale Fashion Show.
Brent Everett at GuySpy Apres Ski T-Dance
As one of the most popular adult entertainment producers and/or actors, Brent Evertt will be appearing with a special guest on Friday, Feb. 8th at GuySpy Apres Ski T-Dance event hosted at the Whistler Conference Centre. You could also be a part of Brent’s new documentary and TV series that he will be filming in Whistler with Charlie David during WinterPRIDE.
DJ Paul Goodyear Spinning at Snowball Dance ‘Til Dawn
This year’s WinterPRIDE festival will conclude with an all-night party featuring special guest appearance by Christina Sing of Destineak and an opening set by DJ Nick Bertossi. On Saturday, February 9th DJ Paul Goodyear will close out this year’s Whistler WinterPRIDE festival at the Snowball Dance ‘Til Down party as Gay Whistler and Alpenglow Productions will cap another fantastic year of celebrating gay and lesbian pride in North America’s top ski resort.

The third day of WinterPRIDE starts off with another TAG Whistler adventure that will be sure to get your heart rate pumping. Guests of Whistler’s WinterPRIDE will be snowshoeing into the old growth forests of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains with the possibility of spotting some Whistler wildlife. For those that don’t want the exercise of snowshoeing in Whistler, than there will be another ski and snowboard guided tour on Blackcomb Mountain, followed by an after noon of apres ski at GLC Garibaldi Lift, one of Whistler’s favourite apres ski bars.

For those that opted not to do the snowmobile tour in Whistler with TAG Whistler, they get a second chance on Thursday morning. The annual Whistler gay ski week continues with amazing WinterPRIDE events including snowmobiling through the Whistler Blackcomb forests and mountain terrain or flying downs the slopes of Blackcomb Mountain. For snowboarders, Tuesday and Thursday may be the days that you want to join your friends as you take on 7th Heaven and Hortsman Hut. As you come off the slopes on Blackcomb Mountain, riders and skiers will have the chance to partake in the annual WinterPRIDE March in Skiers Plaza on your way to the Whistler Conference Centre for apres ski in Whistler. On Friday morning, hit the pavement at the crack of down for a 5k run or walk through Whistler Village. Take in part of the route that Ironman Canada participates are tackling later this summer. Then relax as you fly through the Whistler air ziplining Whistler with The Adventure Group (TAG Whistler). If you didn’t get enough exercise in the morning run or walk, join your friends on Whistler mountain before coming down for apres ski at the Village T-Dance event. Before heading out for the evening, make sure you rest up for the evening WinterPRIDE parties.
