Attracting almost a hundred local vendors every week, the Whistler Farmer’s Market is not just an event for foodies. Many crafters and artists sell their hand-made works of art at a fraction of the cost. It’s the perfect opportunity to get that one-of-a-kind present, straight from the hands that made them.

With the recent change in liquor laws in BC, you can now sample various craft brews and wine at the Whistler Farmer’s market. This is an excellent addition to celebrate the local event’s 20th anniversary in 2014. The Market organizers ask that visitors finish the tasting at the booth, and not walk around the premises with alchohol in hand. The atmosphere at the Farmer’s Market extraordinary; you don’t have to shop to enjoy it. They have live musical performances, and fun activities for kids like face-painting and the summer adventure zone.
