Red Mountain Ski Resort 997 Acre Expansion Begins on Grey Mountain
Red Mountain Expansion on Grey Mountain Started August 1, 2012.
Western Canada is about to add another world-class ski resort to the already amazing list of mountain resort destinations. Red Mountain, located in Rossland British Columbia, has begun working on a two year expansion plan that will add an additional 997 acres of skiable terrain to the already massive 1685 acres currently available on Granite mountain.
The work on the adjacent Grey Mountain began on August 1st, 2012 and has a target ski season availability for the 2013/2014 snow season. The expansion will include various types of ski terrain for adventurous thrill seekers of the 2919 feet of vertical drop resort mountain; ranging from groomed, tree and massive alpine chutes.

Management for Red Mountain has been working diligently the past few years by investing 50 million dollars into improving the ski resorts facilities and accommodations. With the completion of the mountain expansion, Red Mountain will be put into the top 3% in North America for skiable area terrain.
