Sun Peaks Resort Opens Early on November 14th!

Massive snowfall of over 50cm/20 inches has fallen over the past week in Sun Peaks. Opening day has been moved up to November 14th, one week ahead of schedule!

The Sun Peaks Slopes Department has been working non-stop packing the fresh snow down, and snow making efforts are focusing on building up the base on OSV trail, where the Austrian National Ski Team will be training in November.

Mountain Operations says the snow making will likely move to the Terrain and Tube Parks in the next couple of weeks.

On November 9th, the final decision will be made on the lifts and runs that will be opened.
